I think most of productions casting of rookies from outside shows hasn't been that bad. Yeah we've gotten Christina, Nate, Brandon and others but to be fair they were major characters on their original seasons.

Victor was jack shit on his season and was only remembered for winning comps. Natalie, Paulie, Da'Vonne, Paul were some of the standouts.
Victor winning AFP doesn't mean shit either. They'd probably vote for CT and Johnny too if they watched the Challenge.
