I wonder if Marie throws her elimination vs. Kailah. Marie's never really been about competing and if she eliminated Kailah, she'd have made Cara Maria's work that much easier and would probably end up going back into an elimination in the near future anyway. Throwing the elimination (or at least just not trying) allows Marie to do what she does best; control her destiny and go out on her own terms.

I'm not a Marie stan. I'm about as much of a Marie hater as there can be. Well, technically it's not that I hate Marie, I just generally hate her fans. At least the number of fans she has relative to her athletic (let's call it ability) is mind boggling. If certain users posts disappeared from my screen, I'd probably never have a word to say about Marie again.
That being said, if I just think about Marie as an entertainer and not a competitor then I hate her a lot less. I just enjoy the few episodes of Roda's Rules before she inevitably gets eliminated and the remaining competitors (and Jemmye) compete for money. The less I think about it, the happier I am.
Edit: So if I think about Marie as a good character rather than a good competitor, I honestly don't really hate her at all. She's just kind of there.
