I like Cory as a person but he is sooooo dumb. He tried to pull some master manipulation plan and not a single person bought it BAHAH

Do you guys really think Cory made it up? Honestly that alliance sounds believable to me, (we saw Brad protecting Devin) and I don't think Cory has the brains to make that up.  To me it reads as though Cory had nothing to do but out an alliance he had heard of, but it was a dumb move cuz one of the people in the alliance was one of 3 people deciding his fate, and the other was locked in on him.

I 100% believe Devin/Brad are working together. Brit even tweeted about it cause Brit/Devin are close so Brad and Devin are linking up but I don't see Victor being a part of that and Cory even said in his interview he basically made it up. He needed something to save him so he said they were gunning for Bananas.

Word. Instead of outing the alliance, Cory should've petition why he was a better asset to that alliance than Victor, to Brad. I think that would've been better.

Love, love, love this episode. I've accepted no elimination as the default now.

Respect to Brandy Joe, good on her. It's great to see different people ranking highly in this mission compared to the first.

I loved the blurry zooms on each troika nominee, hilarious.

I also love watching Kyle and Cara flirt. "You've got some strength in you, havent you?" lmao

I feel like they did a good job showcasing almost everyone this episode too.

One thing I dont understand is the need for the troika dinner (forgot what they called it). Nominees have the whole night to make their case and had I been Cory, for example (and if the alliance he mentioned were a real one), it would make more sense to approach Kyle and Johnny one on one and show evidence without outting your sources to Brad. Maybe production missed the winners' dinners from Exes 2.

This episode was great!

-The first few minutes were the worst part. I wouldnt call it a waste of time but i hope they dont keep repeating all the vendettas every episode.-I like how Cara and Marie both think they are playing each other. This season is already more about strategy and politics than the last.-Im here for the Kayleigh and Marie friendship tbh. Its so out of the blue and its nice to see Marie not obsessing over Kailah for once.-Definitely didnt expect Britni to win. I honestly doubt the sun had anything to do with it. Just seems like some of the others flopped and needed an excuse. -Cara and Kam slayinggggg! Failah being cocky then flopping as usual. side note- did not like Cara's confessionals during the challenge. A bit too over the top imo.-Yeessss at Kyle and Brad in the winners circle. No comment for Bananas. Leroy was pathetic. I honestly expected more from Nelson but he isnt the best at dailies.-The Troika twist is dumb. It should be 3 people of the gender thats up for elimination. Next week we could have 3 guys in the troika so even the winning female could end up in elimination. I do like that they nominate 3 people first though. It forces all 3 of them to then campaign and play alot more politically/strategically.-Cory may have tried but it really was an awful attempt. Instead of trying to amend things he just painted a big target on his back. I commend him for trying but he needs to learn how to politic better.-Cara and Kyle <3. Now Marie's jealous lmao.-The Ring looks pretty cool but the whole grenades thing is just too much.

I feel like Cory’s best option to stay out of elimination is to tell Brad and Kyle that the longer he stays, the more time Bananas will be focused on him and less on other players.

The troika seems like it’ll be all males but we’ll see how the women elimination plays out.

I actually like the style of this show...has a 'Battle of the Sexes' feel with the top three!  And I like that people have bankaccounts like Ruins.

Thoughts:

-Nelson is still a tool and I hope we lose him sooner than later.

-Love the Marie screen time

-Need Veronica screen time...now would be nice please

-I don't get why they spoil who is coming on as 'Champs' in the previews for the season...I know a lot of it is common knowledge but damn, it's more a surprise and fun to watch if they don't tell us.  They did the same thing on Cutthroat.

-Even though I don't mind some of the new people...I hope they are gone early and fast.  I can semi-accept other mtv shows, but not the other network people...stupid.

-Cara Maria seems oddly passive so far this season.

So the only people with any kind of storyline so far are: Marie, Cara, Kyle, Cory, Brad, and Britni..... kinda tragic lol

It would have made more sense for them to have made this first week a girls elimination to make up for the fact that Eddie was already gone before this mission. The numbers would have just evened out that way.

so he was telling the truth ? about number 2

Brad is actually coming to play this game. Not following Bananas, leading the trokia discussion, and him & Devin alliance.

Came to play really stupid. He just painted himself as the decision maker and took all the spotlight off of Bananas.

theyre gonna go after brad before Bananas regardless so... he played smart

I think the jury's still out rn. But if Alicia did have a restraining order towards Eddy, there's no way both of them could've been legally casted together, right?

This play sounds smart but it’s never worked on survivor, bb, and the challenge. I’ve even tried it in orgs and it’s never worked lol.

Do restraining orders work internationally?

JUST saw the episode so I know Im late with this... but the Troika is clearly unfair, it will always be majority 3 guys always in there. It should have been the top  3 guys decide on guys elimination day or the opposite gender decides on the opposite sex elimiantion day

I did a double take on this shot, looks like somebody (Nelson) really likey likes this part

not the arch.... mentioned this in the discord last night, like damn Nelson get itMarie seems to be that girl who gets pissed at the girl a guy chooses instead of the guy... he is clearly pursuing Cara and they are cute with the flirting too!Cory making up what he said to Troika and then in his post saying Victor made a deal with HIM... that sounds real but isn't what he said to them! Choose a story bucket head

I don't have discord. Vevmo is enough. What did you say?

If MTV didn’t know about the restraining order, then that might be why they cast both. I’m sure if they knew and still did it they could get in huge legal trouble

I don't think the format is as convoluted as before. I think initially it'll be three going into interogation, but I'm sure as the seasons go, it might be less frequent to not have unanimous or 2-1 votes. Also, digging Brad not going into Bananas' ***, which puts his comeback leagues better than Derrick's comeback.Even Alton had a better comeback in my opinion than Derrick. Trashelle's still my number 1 comeback out of all the old schoolers. Abe being a close second.

Shane & Veronica had the best returns...Trishelle isn't even close to those two

.

so he was telling the truth ? about number 2

Cory said that Vic had a deal with Shane, Brad & Devin when,  in reality, Vic had a deal with Cory...so Cory was definitely lying.  Even if those four are working together Cory (and Nelson) were a part of it which makes the lie even worse.  He should have focused on getting Kyle's vote not Bananas.  Brad would have voted Tony.  I think Kyle could have been convinced as well

Solid episode and I'm liking this challenge vibe. Way different from Dirty 30 and a lot of surprises (with the people from other shows).

Nah.... Trishelle was the same mess and drama. I'm not buying into the whole Shane bandwagon.
