Well to be fair, Cory was SINGLE meanwhie Tori was in a RELATIONSHIP and cheated. There is nothing wrong with hooking up with mulitply people on this show, all is fair if you're single but then when you cheat like CARA, TORI or even TONY then yeah you deserve all the negative feedback.NOTE: I am aware that Cory has a past of cheating and still cheating as rumored on that upcoming Exes show but the majority of the challenges he was on, he was single and was committed to no one. I think MTV/production being sexist is a bit of an exaggeration and even if production were to favor men who cheat (which they don't), doesn't justify women who cheat. Two wrongs don't make a right either.
Lets not forget that Tori and Derrick H. started dating back when they thought it was going to be a couples challenge. They then played up this lovey dovey couple for the cameras hoping they would both make it far and have America fall in love with them to keep them as locks for the next few seasons. What happened instead is Derrick H. got eliminated pretty early, and Tori didn't actually have super strong feelings for him since they were just dating for fake reasons so she strayed. Derrick H. then got butt hurt because he wanted to be able to publically date a finalist for awhile to get her fans interested in him so he could keep coming back for more challanges. I don't think either one really cared for eachother THAT much it was just for the cameras. Now Derrick H. is hyping up the break up hoping to get Tori as an exs 3 partner since she made it to the final and was a pretty solid all around competitor (nothing particularlly amazing but can hold her own and not someone who needs to be carried, plus was there long enough to make friends in the game.) I don't feel particullarly bad for Tori since she is known for straying... but in this case I feel even less bad because it was a sham of a relationship and she should have just broken up with Derrick while still in the house. I also don't feel bad for Derrick AT ALL since it is super obvious what they were trying to do.
