Chrissy played an absolutely immaculate game. Literal Survivor textbook gameplay of how you’re supposed to win. She built real relationships. She always was on her A-game in terms of alliances. She was loyal to the people who mattered most to her. Wrecked everyone in immunity challenges. And her final tribal council performance was one of the very best. What more could you possibly want from her?

Whatever. Her 500K is about to go a lot further than Ben’s million. Promise that.

She's beautifully spoken and obviously well educated and you can simply tell by how perfect her FTC performance was. She provided her raw emotion, proved her worth, and answered every question in whole truth.

Ryan looked like a dingbat and Ben spoke like he just smoked a joint because he could barely put out a simple sentence.

joe was so ******* wet for ben which is confusing

o its cuz ben played the game that joe dreamed lol

Imagine playing tge best game, waiting 16 years, quitting your job to be there, winning the most challenges against younger people, fighting for literally every inch, only to get screwed because production wanted a hot topic to show survivor is still fresh. I feel so bad for Chrissy, like this was worse than cirie last season.

Survivor ain’t been shit in so long.

I’m excited for Ghost Island, but at the same time I’m dreading it.

The Challenge needs to go ahead and recruit the best options and let Survivor live on in some capacity, because CBS is ruining it.

No shade to Ben and his service, but this is a game of Survivor where the winner is awarded for gameplay not a sob story ✌️

Chrissy gave up her life and played an A1 game. Now that’s a sob story turned into success.

1. I disagree Lurker. I think it was imperative for Devon, Chrissy, Ryan, and Mike to follow and keep an eye in Ben to prevent him from finding an idol. Yes, it is crazy he found all these idols so quickly, but isn't it said that once you find one idol it becomes easier finding another one? Simply because you see a pattern on how find the idols or how they are hidden? Also editing can play a big part, so definitely may not have seen the time he put in finding these idols. I do think the advantage was more of gift to Ben than anything.

2. I do believe Chrissy had a great game and a very good performance at FTC. We just can't forget the backlash she had earlier this season. A lot of people didn't like Chrissy so I'm actually surprised Ashley voted for her. Chrissy came of a bit self-praising, and to me, it seemed like she wanted the jury to validate how amazing she is. She's always been a bit abrasive and tbh, I would've rewarded her the million, but Ben just had better relations with the jurors at the very least. Joe really did have a hard on for him. And he also had a valid underdog story. TBH, Chrissy might have lost to Devon too.

didnt ben find two idols while the others was sleeping? and the other being right by his confessional? I wouldn't sacrifice my sleep which is sacrificing energy for immunity challenges just to follow ben. What if im following ben and he still finds the idol? Did I just waste time/energy?

Totally agree. I would only add that I thought Chrissy's final speak was off-putting. It was a blatent pander to the women to get their votes. It was a great strategy - vote them off, then appeal as a mother. But it did not work.  Ben outplayed her - he found idols and kept his plans a secret which worked.  It does bother me that he was allowed to make fire and stay, but once he got to final tribal, I think he deserved to win.

Lol "when they were sleeping" doesn't matter if production shows him exactly how to get the idols

That's what they thought, and now they're all a million dollars short.

My thoughts exactly. If Ben’s going to take a shit and production shows him where an idol is, then there’s really nothing the rest of the cast can do.

Ben didn’t outplay anyone. He simply outlasted through very conveniently placed means.

Exactly, that’s why I’m sick of hearing people saying that Ben should’ve been followed. Near his confessional, near where he read his letter from his wife, when they film those scenes they forbid anybody else from the cast to be near them. They literally pull the castmember away to do their confessionals and nobody is allowed near. Even Ben admitted that his wife led him to the idol.. no, production used your wife’s letter to lead you to an idol lol.

Again, I’m not really bitter, it’s just so friggen coincidental that everything Ben needed, he got. And then the advantage for Chrissy blocking them from voting Ben right out, cmon. I am curious as to what Kass said on Twitter.. It’s an advtange, Chrissy could’ve chosen not to use it. I wonder if this is true.

Wasnt good in Challenges, social game was ****, saved by production idols.. one million dollars. Now I know it's the jury who gave him the votes, and that's that. But Chrissy absolutely deserved this win and I didn't even like her. But the jury voted for the guy with PTSD, and made the game look cool with his idols. I'm curious to hear from the cast after they actually watch the season and what they think of his idol finds.

And I pray to God nobody ever compares the idol find under the shelter to Wentworth or the amazing Amanda Kimmel, cause they both did it better.

Ben - “I have PTSD, I was marine, you guys have no idea what it’s like to be shot at.”

Me - “First of all, that correlates to your gameplay in what ways exactly? And second of all, maybe you should’ve gotten shot because no one here wanted to hear that titty baby sob story. Thank you for your services though. *blows kiss*”

ALL of this.

I actually did care about it, but the whole "civilians  just can't understand" left a bad taste in my mouth. That's the attitude I hate, going into the service is a choice, you don't need to talk down to people to get your point across.

I would’ve reminded him that he’s a civilian now.

I care about it as well honestly. But it should NEVER be your plea to the Jury. Adam did this shit just two seasons ago. Hannah was the winner but he pulled out the mom card and got pity votes from the entire jury.

I hate it. Life happens to all of us. But life doesn’t justify a million dollars. The game you played does.

Adam played better than hanna tho. Hannah just didn't go with her gut and that's why I thnk she was flawed.

Adam's move is even more spineless when you watch Sundays ponderosa where you hear the reason she was voted out was because she told people she beat breast cancer, then Adam plays the cancer card for sympathy. If he wasn't getting ****** by Jay I'd hate him. And before anyone comments, no they arent actually but Adam is very likely gay.

Still in shock Queen Chrissy won.

I'm okay with Ben winning (so glad it wasn't Ryan) but I agree with the others who believe that Chrissy should have won.  I didn't like her personally (not even a little bit) but she won 4 immunities and was really calling the shots after a certain point... the others looked to her to see which way to vote at each Tribal.  With that out of the way, I have a question that I haven't seen addressed on this board (unless I missed a post about it):

When Chrissy, Devon, and Mike went on that food reward and checked all over for an idol or a clue before eating, they said they didn't find anything.  They later said that "Ben really fell for it" when he was shown the idol and the clue.  So here's my question: Maybe I must missed the explanation but if not, where in the **** did they find the makings for not just a regular idol but a gold one?  I know it's not that hard to find a few twigs and a couple of chipmunk bones to make what looks like an idol to fool someone but an intricate gold necklace?!  And that piece of paper that was supposedly a clue?  That thing practically had an entire novel written on it.  So how did they manage to come up with both (or either) of those things in the first place?  I didn't watch the reunion (I find them pretty boring) so did they address this issue there?  If so, what was the answer?  Thanks for anyone who knows.
