agreed not a huge fan of him or his clique but I love the show when it's two groups of strong competitors that way you really don't know who the final 3 will be . Also makes for some shocking eliminations

Honestly, it's not the smartest thing to quit your job if you won the lottery. Not right away at least. But Bananas never relied on a real job or a back up plan, when the Challenge could've gotten canceled anytime over the last few years. Thankfully it hasn't, and he's been fine with the money he gets paid even when he doesn't win.
But it's not always just about a job and money. A lot of people have had children, or seriously relationships to take into consideration. Bananas is a child himself, and has showed a hundred times that he doesn't care about his relationship with Hanna so he doesn't have much to worry about outside of the show. But the money from the Challenges will not last him 10+ years after the Challenges no longer happen.
Some people do want lasting relationships or children and don't just want to party nonstop. I'm not saying I wouldn't compete in a ton of challenges either, but I couldn't do every single one for eight in s row because my family and personal relationships need attention too.
