I wouldn't say Bananas flop. He was smart to come with that strategy, which then derrick copied. Had bananas not sat out, I'm sure he would of won. But I'm glad Derrick won.

That being said I think strategically this season was one of Johnny's worst games he's ever played. He was essentially in an alliance with every other good competitor on the show, and he was afraid to win because he didn't want to throw any of them in and have a target. This last challenge he even said he lost on purpose because he didn't want to have to pick between Derrick and Jordan and knew that neither of them would pick him. It's the end of the game and 3/4 non winners were either eliminated or up for elimination...how about you go win the ******* challenge and guarantee yourself safety.
