The Challenge XXX: Dirty 30 (Ratings)

So why did y'all think the promo was so great this season? I don't recall seeing any new promo that they haven't done before? Was something done outside of tv? I saw the pic of CT/Bananas on a New York building ad but it didn't even say the time! 

Radio, TV channels(not mtv), Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, fan events, and overall commerical quality and trailer quality. 

They've stepped it up BIG TIME.

Enjoy it cause Bloodlines 2 gonna bring it back down.

I agree 100%. They've been making good moves but Bloodlines is not a good idea, I hope they drop it like they did before season 30

Meeting the fans event, premiere party, different podcasts, bartending for Andy, peers conference.

Camila and CT did 30+ tv and radio satellite appearances yesterday.

Please elaborate. What do you mean before season 30 I seriously doubt they had plans for a B2. Its not like it was Sexes 2 or Inferno in which it was so good it was needed.

They went all out for the promo this season I love it! Saw it on YouTube, several ads on fb, I even saw it on Snapchat! Which I've never seen for The Challenge I also saw on twitter Big Brother fans asking where the show was from and asking about it in general so hopefully viewers stay consistent & this is a kickstart to an awesome season.

More like because of the Diem/Knight (mostly Diem) deaths.

Great rating though. Hopefully they can continue and follow up with BotE3 and maybe dirty 32 if this season does well.

I mean the ratings are not abysmal but its 30 ******* people, they better be getting decent ratings with the amount of castmembers and fanbases from the million shows the competitors come from.

people are watching, DVR's and the ability to stream during and after it airs exist.

Before Dirty 30, the original theme was rumored to be something with significant others, so basically like a Bloodlines 2. I hope the producers scratch B2 because, like you said, there's no demand for it. 

I guarantee ratings are better due to promotion and more old schoolers.  Old Schoolers bring in viewers for that 25-54 range.  Hope they keep casting similarly moving forward...rookies, regulars and old school.

think the brunt of it was the promotion.They didn't even promote the challenge using V/D/Darrell. Although having them helps.

Consodering the focus on *** and alcohol on this show, 12-year-old definitely shouldn't be watching this show. Interestingly, their what MTV considers their target demographic.
