Graphik thank you for being here and checking those people, because my blood is boiling by seeing some of the last posts, acting like racism doesn't exist on MTV.

I love Graphik. He always comes in with the facts and shuts shit down.

can we collect a love offering for Graphik?

Real World never had a large black demographic because they've only used us as tokens with the exception of Hollywood and Bad Blood which came off as a desperate attempt and last ditch effort. As Simone also said they don't like casting real black people you have to be corny like Zzzzroy to pretty much make the cut.

Much love to you both! It's all appreciated.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And look at how they treat Hollywood (still to this date one of their best seasons). Very true with Bad Blood but that's a even deeper discussion too.

@ the bolded; either corny, safe and/or non-threatening. Mannnn we could talk about this shit all day lmaooo

Fact of the matter is Nia and CeeJai got dragged for defending themselves and look what happened with Dean on GBGH when he quit being the funny black guy he got accused by his roommates of being fake plus Jenna acted like he ran up on her to fight in that one episode.

Darker skin can often equate to more dangerous or violent in many people's mind. So Ceejai's or Nia's actions just further validate their false reality. But this show is a business as well, and I don't think skin color is the sole factor or places a huge role into this. Its characters that will draw big viewers first and foremost that will be given a "second or third chance".But did Nia really bring that many viewers? Was she really a power house in audienceship? I'm talking about outside of Vevmo tho. And Ceejai is a non-factor given how terrible her season did in viewership. So in their eyes they can just dismiss her. Also is there an actual liability list or is this just all hear-say or rumors that spiraled out of control.

Now what does that have to do with anything, given how 2 people from her season are on this....?

And also despite that season getting bad ratings it got attention outside of MTV and guess why? Because of Ceejai(wasn't the only reason but she was apart of it)No Excuses on why she is ignored.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it is my understanding that it isn't necessarily MTV who label someone as liability but rather their insurance company. When a castmember is considered a liability by them, their insurance may go up or they can be deemed totally uninsurable. But just like banks when determining if you can get mortgage or not, they can be very selective when it comes to it. So a person of colour who has "a history of violent behaviour" (just like Ceejai hitting Jenna once) can be too expensive to insure while Tony, who is an alcoholic and constantly is violent and threatening, may only see his premiums go slightly up. Just like with Kenny: MTV may want him back (barf), but their insurance company sees it as too risky.

The thing with Nehemiah seems to be different. I don't think he's considered a liability. MTV simply refuses to cast him because it's not beneficial to the "stars" of the show.

yeah once they wake up and smell the bullshit, and stop being exploited to be a stereotype for entertainment purposes then you're black balled by production. Theo (RW Chicago) stopped drinking, and he said production stopped calling him after Gauntlet 1

no sis, he's considered a THREAT to the stars of the show. that's why they pulled that **** shit on him on duel 1 & duel 2. nehemiah isn't a liabilty. but he calls production out on their shit, and refuses to be a puppet so they black balled him. (no pun intended)

That's why Jasmine became a regular because she provided entertainment and they knew her *** wasn't about to be any competition to their stars. Scared to cast Tya and CeeJai who were both athletes and will wreck*******.

They didn't realize Nia was a actual threat because she smoked cigarettes and then they got shook when she was snatching their faves.

they cast LaToya because she's the "sassy, my weave itch, tell like it is" black girl

had Nia been cast on invasion or bloodlines. no doubt in my mind she would have won.

Yeah, that's what I said. He's not a liability, he's not beneficial to the stars (aka a threat). And totally agree with him calling production out on their shit. I believe this is the reason they did Simone so dirty this season. They wont allow for castmembers to openly criticise MTV on their own show. This was them sending a message to everybody to stay in line.

And will beat the shit out of******* too if it comes down to it. Not no phony "Camilanator" BS.

YEAH during her rant on twitter, she said she had to stop talking about the situation because it was a "breach of contract"

derrick is about to be a new stereotype regular on the show now. just watch.

Derrick is corny to me already. To be cast you either gotta be "funny" like Leroy or act tough but not really be about that life like Cory and Nelson.

Real World never had a large black demographic because they've only used us as tokens with the exception of Hollywood and Bad Blood which came off as a desperate attempt and last ditch effort. As Simone also said they don't like casting real black people you have to be corny like Zzzzroy to pretty much make the cut.

BULLSHIT. None of the black people were tokens. Was Kevin a token on the original season? David in New Orleans? Tami and Dave on Los Angeles? Alton Irulan and Arissa on Vegas? Coral Nicole and Malik on Back to NY? You're speaking out of your ***. So sick of this bullshit and lie so

In reletive proportion to the demographics in America, they're casted about right. Bad Blood had a lot of AA representation, and you still call it a "deserpate attempt". The cast this season has a higher % of AA than the demographics in America. I don't think they don't cast AA enough, if anything they cast more AA than the relative population. If we're gonna talk about a race that is actually discriminated against on these shows, it's Asian-American. Period. Like were Sandy&Noor the last Asian-Americans on the Challenge? (serious question I can't think of anyone else).

CT was allowed back because he's the face of the show and because of the Diem/CT love story. It has nothing to do with him being white. Darrell was allowed back for ******* Brad up too. Plenty of people have gotten "banned" because the risk-reward ratio isn't there (aka, they are more of a liability than they're worth to the franchise) and I don't think it's motivated by race.

Anyway, I'm tired of race debates. I think the Challenge does a fine job with diversity.

Cory isn't cast as the black person. Look at him. He gets white girls left and right etc. he's not the standard black man. He has European look to him.

He is what many white people would call "passive" looking

cory is what the racist wypipo refer to as the "Exceptional negro"  he's lightskin, light enough to almost pass as white, he's racially ambigous.

I'm not sure what you want then? Like, there are a lot of African Americans on this show, but none of them "represent" blacks like you want them to?

The last time I have been fine with the casting for The Challenge was Free Agents which was actually diverse. People think casting mix people classifies as being diverse and it's not.

My point is that only BLACK people are constantly referring to him as black or by his color. As a white woman I can assure most of us look at Cory and don't think of his skin color. It YOU ALL.

And I find it disgusting you're mad they cast intelligent hard working black people over gang members from Chicago *****
