ayeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Nice!
NICE!
YES! that's cause of all the promotional events they did for this one. let's go to a milli please this season. that's the highest since Exes 2 right?
Moving on up!!! Nice
That's where good promotion gets you, but it is the premier so maybe they'll drop. Hopefully the don't.
Enjoy it cause Bloodlines 2 gonna bring it back down.
Perfect! Good to see the challenge doing well.
837 that seems high or no

Fantastic! See what happens with promotion?
Last season's premiere was .69 & the highest rated episode was .86 when Ashley & Zach got sent home.
The total number of viewers don't mean anything. It's all about the demo.
I guarantee ratings are better due to promotion and more old schoolers. Old Schoolers bring in viewers for that 25-54 range. Hope they keep casting similarly moving forward...rookies, regulars and old school.
So, I don't get attacked...promotion was the biggest factor
They don't care about 25-54 unfortunately. Their target is 12-34.
They count streamers from their site?
is this the next theme? Please noooooo
Trash *** ratings. All that promotion and not even a million and y'all happy about this lol? Did Fear Factor do better in its premiere? Like I'm truly shocked at how even with all that bomb *** promotion they can't even get 1 million. How. I 100% expected to be at atleast 1 million honestly. Mtv is trash.
Sorry to sound negative but I'm really surprised lol.
People watch less cable TV than ever before, you're not gonna get ratings like you did on Exes etc. The Challenge went up ~200k in premiere viewers from Rivals 3 and Invasion I think and that's pretty big.
I dont remember the exact numbers but i think its been posted before that mtv is heavily decling in viewership so that is actually a big night of viewership for them
I do think having the Challenge premiere in an off season for cable such as summer or during that break from dec-feb that most shows take would greatly benefit the ratings. Last season, prison break being on the same time really hurt their ratings and I know in the past there has been the same issues...whereas right now, theres not lots of new episodes of shows on for the challenge to compete with.
With all that promotion not getting 1M doesn't seem that good to me, but you guys understand that better than me.
You think the show can still go on for a few more years?
If you were expecting a milluon for MTV, then you were expecting to much. Plus keep in mind a good portion of viewers doesnt have nielsen so numbers are always higher than what is documented. With those number it still was top 4 on last night cable.
Fear factor had a lot of promotion and people were hype for its come back after years. After that it flip to 400k-500k
1M seems like a very high expectation. I was hoping 750+
I read on Instagram this was the best premiere since Free Agents? That's awesome
So why did y'all think the promo was so great this season? I don't recall seeing any new promo that they haven't done before? Was something done outside of tv? I saw the pic of CT/Bananas on a New York building ad but it didn't even say the time!
