Too much old school it's not good for this show in 2017. That what he means I think. There are plenty of new blood who can bring as much as any old-schooler, and his point is that MTV should rather focus particulary on these people rather than counting on old-schoolers.

That's exactly what I meant. I've said before that lt I do not mind old schoolers returning but it shouldn't get to point where it's ******* 2003 all over again. That's pointless and I don't give **** how good of competitors or entertaining they are.

yeah, but it never would get to that point again so I don't see the concern. Who is still around and willing to do challenges again for it to be predominantly 2003-Esque again? Not enough to flood out the new people.

You'd be surprised. Shane definitely opened a lot of eyes and doors.

I prefer the old-schoolers any day. There was still plenty of drama, it was just of a different nature. We used to have Ayanna and Laterian having a racial meltdowns because Christian (from Norway) used a slur. It was interesting to watch them try and reconcile their differences and move forward (Laterrian could, Ayanna couldn't). It was relevant to society and interesting. Now we get people screaming about frozen peas in their mattress. The pettyness with the average competitor today is just not as entertaining to me, I don't know. The cast isn't as relatable because they are all so immature.

Golden Era 2.0 though......Lisa better **** us all up even more for season 31. There's just one more name I really want to see back in the mix & its officially LIT.

pretty sure Lisa wasn't an executive producer for Dirty 30

Again, to flood out the new kids? I don't think so they're still gunning for the regulars and AYTO. They're not gonna take that risk.

i see a sprinkle of old vets she returning maybe but not an overwhelming amount

Which is a good thing !

The one in charge is Danny not Lisa (atleast this season)

Really? I thought Lisa was. Guess Not.

He was in charge last season too, was he not?

So Danny basically piggybacked off Lisa's Invasion cast and added 4-5 new 'mates and we blamed her for being lazy hmmm lol

It was a simple question. If you didnt want to answer you shouldve just ignored it.

It wasn't a "simple question" and you know it but okay.

I think I know what InternationalFan meant. You saidyou would be okay with guys vs girls final and InternationalFan assumed you thought this meant Camila lost. Hence the question: would you still be ok with this format if the girls won? Or do you only like this twist because it means all the guys win?

Let's not pretend that the old-schoolers weren't petty either. Remember Brad's Wedgie? Or Derrick and Landon fighting with each other for no reason? Or hell even the Beth/Tonya/Robin thing( It was entertaining but Tonya took it too far by messing with Beth's shit). And Even Veronica and Rachel at times.

Let's take off the Rose Colored Glasses. The old schoolers did have better drama but not all of it was deep and meaningful.

All that petty drama is still better than the drama we get now lol. I think we can all agree

That's really not the point but okay.

He was in charge last season too, was he not?

He has been on this franchise for years.

But If I am not wrong this one was his first as an executive producer.

All drama is good drama to me, idk why we need so many old schoolers... we should just accept that fact that they're done and not as interested as before. New people new era. I don't understand how y'all can say we're tired of the same vets (Cara camila bananas) but want the old schoolers to return even though they were challenge regulars in the past... Let's focus our attention on making new history for this show

Nostalgia plays a big part tends to make people hold things to a higher standard. Happens all the time.

ill take brad wedgie over anything camila related ever anyday

Exactly. Like someone else said that alot of the new kids go on the show to drink and party and shit..like wasn't that the case back in the day? What's so different now?

Well damn what happened to Lisa? I'm hoping this Danny person continues what she started.

Funny thing is people nowadays care way more about winning. Back then most people just went on the show to party/vacation and get exposure for bar appearences and such.

What's funny is that's probably why they care more about winning. This show ain't as hot as it used to be so they don't get the bar apprearences and speaking arrangments etc that they used to get. This show is all they got in terms of money/exposure.

But yeah. Alot of people went on that show just for a vacation and because it was fun.  It wasn't a "business trip" like it is for people now. There's not a whole lot of difference between then and now when it comes to that.
