And casting for this show is not the same. Ayto was somewhat similar fear factor you don't need a good character. Plus on exes 2 they needed another couple because people weren't dropped which is why the brought in AyTO
Wow @ the ratings for this. They just let this show come back and dominate like that? BMP clearly needs to go back to the drawing board when it comes to The Challenge.
I just watched this. That final stage was SO dangerous. I felt uncomfortable watching them struggle to breathe in the air pockets. **** heights this shit made me feel like I can't breathe from my couch at home. I'm mad at producers for almost killing these people. But I enjoyed it and will continue to watch.

this is a bit dramatic they wouldn't have died. This stuff is prob less dangerous then the stuff they do on the challenge
That last stage was DEFINITELY dangerous. I was getting anxiety watching the one guy on his back just gasping for air. while being smacked in the face with water There's no way a crew member or Ludaris or anyone for that matter can tell whether or not one of those guys was getting enough air from above and make a quick enough decision to get them up if something was happening to them. I'm assuming they had a crew try the challenge out first but they should have made sure it was above water a bit more so they are actually able to use those holes to breathe and not be pummeled with water when they come up with air lol
It was a really great show. I was very entertained from start to finish. I was rooting for the Compton sisters. Disappointed they lost. Moreover, some missions got me really nervous, but other than that, it was awesome. Ludacris is a very great host, I'm happily surprised !

On the old version of the show there was always a way for them to escape if worst case scenario happened. Usually there was a latch or opening that would instantly release them. I'm sure they had one here and just didn't mention it.
I still feel like they had the cage for the Alvarez brothers lower then they did for the military brother and sister... idk... it just seemed like they decided to raise the cage up for the brother and sister to prevent what happened the first round which is so unfair for the brothers.

ah ok... they didn't show it so I assumed it was just that one way to get out of there!

I'm not 100% sure they had it for that stunt, but I know in the past they did. If they needed to use the "escape" they would obviously be DQed, but they usually had one. A lot of people probably don't understand how difficult those tasks are when actually doing them. The brother and sister though worked well together.

Yeah and when people are desperate to win money they may drown themselves just to try to win. It could have been too late if someone passed out from taking in so much water.

the hispnic guys seemed desperate to win so it could have easily happened!
This mission seems easy compared to previous eating challenges. I remember they had to drink horse urine and donkey ***** on one that actually got banned.

They need to actually put big characters on this show if they plan on bringing them on a challenge.
I didn't watch. Was this entertaining?
The Alvarez Brothers ****. *heart eyes*
Well really just that one cute *** dude.
yes

I can't at Fear Factor bringing more viewers (while being aired at 10PM) than CT's comeback on Invasion... **** !
Wow. This shit did better than The Challenge. Thought it was gonna flop. Hope those numbers stick.

Fear Factor - 936,000 viewers and a 0.47 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
Way to SAVE MTV. The Challenge is clearly past its prime
