Lord I always forget CT was on Exes 2. But yeah Exes 2 proved they don't always need those 4 for a season to be good. Exes 2 was one of the best in recent seasons.

They need to retire the old washed up vets (bananas, camila, cara) and get the potential new faces of challenge (marlon, frank sweeney, nia, averey, jamie larson, jordan, etc) as regulars... and ditch the useless ayto people.

I feel like MTV's ratings aren't that great because of the demographic they are targeting. A lot of millennials (if that is who they are targeting.. I'm just guessing) work late. That 9-5 job isn't always available. Personally I watch The Challenge and a lot of other MTV shows online the day after since I work while it's on. Plus, cable is getting so expensive I mainly using streaming services now.Side note, I hope if they have after shows or show the exile eliminations online, they make it available for Canadians. I always seem to miss out on the drama there

Yes Exes 2 was very good but you also had Goddess Theresa, Hurricane Nia, Decent Sarah and slightly-humble-Jordan among others. If she could get a cast like that im sure she would sit a few of them out. The brand new rooks just cant by themselves.
Ratings across all of tv are down and have been steadily for years. The challenge will be around for a long time because it is one of the very few things that draws on MTV.
I say ditch this regular shit altogether and cast different as possible each season. They can still have returning people but just don't cast them on 10 seasons straight. Give people a chance to see that the show can be good without XYZ.
Basically take Aneesa's method of doing challenges and apply it to eveyone.

TV ratings are down across the board everywhere. Cable TV is just having a slow painful death due to streaming services and such. That being said, The Challenge these days does well for MTV and its about time they recognize it

Y'all just got to accept that the show has to cater to the casuals over the superfans. Its about making money. Everytime the viewers drop they lose a lot of money. Theyre not going to take huge risks for the sake of a few hundred fans.
