WAIT where are these talks coming from that tj isnt on this season.... that is so random, he hosted pretty much for over 10 years, i bet they also paid him less than victor, why invest more money for a host, what they should be doing, is getting a better cast
Victor Cruz was with the New York Giants for his whole career until he got released this past offseason. He is a very 'media-friendly' athlete. I am not sure how much of a good speaker he is, but he has some charisma. After every touchdown, he would salsa as that was his go-to touchdown dance.
Definitely a choice no-one would expect, but it seems like that is a step in the right direction. Money wise, the NFL offers lucrative money to their players so it would be interesting to find how much they paid him (wayyy more than TJ I assume).
Did TJ retire, or did they choose to go in a different direction? I feel like they should have let TJ host season 30 before moving on.
