He really did. People rag on Cory being disapointing but Leroy was/is a HUGE letdown.

Both have been disappointments so far...hopefully, since we're stuck with them, they improve.

I personally don't think Cory is a dissapointment..But then again I never really expected anything big from him.Leroy on the other hand...yeah Huge let down.

Countless people here claimed that  I'd love Cory since I focus on competition.  That he'd be great.  Among the best.  Countlesss people if not everyone but you.Cory is arguably the weakest guy on his team.  He was probably weaker than Dario & Anthony.  At least he's better than Tony.  He also still has no clue how to play the game.  Thankfully Shane (at 37) is there to carry him.  Hopefully he wins a big elimination or, if he makes the final, actually performs well.

Honestly I feel like Nelson is the weakest at this point.

Imo except Shane and Hunter, they're all weak.

That's only COry & Nelson at this point...unless you mean Tony & Dario as well.  Bruno & Theo were definitely weak.  Maybe Anthony but hard to judge him.  Really competitors for the underdogs males after Hunter & Shane. They're very lucky they didn't have to do eliminations against the Champions or we probably wod have had a final of Darrell vs. Bananas vs. CT--which would have been amazing  when Johnny came in third

Yeah I meant Tony & Dario as well. I agree with you about that final if they had to go against Champs.

The Hollywood girls getting the name drops they DESERVE. ******* Goddesses.

mickey has a thing for guys that treat girls like shit.

Top 5 in no order male/female teams: Theo&Holly, Evan&Coral, Bananas&Sarah, Kenny&Laurel, Landon&Carley

I find it sad that winning six of these shows over the course of 10 years still doesn't touch the Survivor prize and barely beats out Big Brother 1st place prize.

When Bananas showed his house he bought with his earnings I cackled at how small it was and forgot he barely made shit from winning this show so many times. But then again you get so many chances to come back unlike other reality shows it's be stupid to have someone compete for a life changing prize so many times.

He didn't buy that house with his money. Apparently it was his moms.

I do agree though that the earnings is said. Like Invasion is trying to hype up this "FIRST EVER 3 DAY FINAL!!!11!1!" but yet no increase in payout.

People on Big Brother basically sit in a house all day and get paid more for winning lol.

The Challenge is basically American Gladiators now and get paid chump change.

Kicking and screaming,  new reality show on fox hasa format that would be interesting on the challenge. The winner of the  last elimination round gets to send someone directly into elimination to face the last place person in the mission.

what's wrong with buying a modest house? There's more to the value of a house than just its size.

Finally watching Challenge 2000 and it's crazy how Kat set a world record. Also LOL at Tec casually showing up late to their mission bc he went out by himself. Shit you won't see these days. Also that reminds me that I wish Yes did more challenges.

I agree that the payout really is not amazing compared to shows also on air at first glance. But just using the two you brought up, Survivor has been on for 17 years and is STILL consistently near the top of the ratings on a HUGE network, and Big Brother is only one season per year (typically, until that OTT bullshit). The good thing for Johnny is that even if he's gotten like $600k total over 10 or so years (plua appearance checks, prizes, etc.) he's has a steady flow of approx. $60k a year to film a show for maybe 3-4 mths a year max. If you think about it, my shows that I think make this seem like chump change are the game shows such as Jeopardy & Millionaire where you seem to be nearly guaranteed the same prize or more in 1 session/day than you get at the end of The Challenge if you come in 2nd or third, and that's weeks that you've put in.

The difference is Kim would have taken that regular role and ran with it if things were different.  Mallory would have if not for the modeling contactWanting Irulan, Melissa, Ellen & Svetlana was great in theory but they were never going to do it Cory > Nelson?  Maybe but still not impressive

Ellen had a real job during her first challenge. No way she would give up salary to do a challenge again back then. Remember someone pretending to be Svetlana on twitter? That was hilarious and it was scary how that person had such personal pictures....I remember her doing a podcast and straight up denied that was her twitter haha.

For anyone who wanna rewatch RW San Diego... https://www.dailymotion.com/sirkoshalot3

I rewatched recently and forgot how good it was!!! Seemed like they had such a good time. 2nd favorite season behind key west

For anyone who wanna rewatch RW San Diego... https://www.dailymotion.com/sirkoshalot3

Thanks! I may have to rewatch soon. It's my third favorite season (behind Chicago & New Orleans - and both the originals of those not the 2nd versions) and I have a soft spot for that cast because I went to their reunion show and they were all really nice (well I didn't talk to Charlie but I wasn't mad).

San Diego is a good season but I feel like it's overrated.

I kinda agree with you. San Diego is the first season I watched in its entirety and I loved it, mostly for my girl Frankie's punk rock ***. Not a lot really happened during that season though, especially after Frankie left.

*I was lowkey here for the Robin vs. Cameran dispute over the lost key in Greece, and Frankie's messy *** hyping Robin up.lmao. But nothing really happened.

I WILL SAY, I'd take SD1 over Philly and Austin b/c both of those seasons had me PLEADING for them to be over, but still watching to see who I'd hope for on the challenges. Key West I would put above SD1, because the storylines, editing and characters were superb. Denver I only cared about Brooke and to a smaller extent Jenn (and somewhat Tyrie).

Sydney was pretty uneventful as well, but Hollywood was pretty awesome.

I use to watch San Diego with my step dad, he loved it and hated reality tv. We also watched some marathon episodes of the Gauntlet on Thanksgiving lmao.

That would NEVER happen today...watching the RW and the challenge with the whole family they would be like "wow... this shit is wack/this shit is still on?"

How's he like The Gauntlet?

He seemed to enjoy it. What I could remember the most was him yelling at the TV dragging Coral, he HATED her.

Now that I think of it he also watched BOTS2 with me. I could never get him to do that now I'd be ashamed lol

San Diego had a fun cast. That's why I liked it so much. But most entertaining season for me is still Hollywood followed by Vegas 2.

It's awesome to see how people rank different seasons, and what makes a good season to them. Has there been a season poll/ranking lately (ala the hotness thread)? That'd be cool to see (I wouldn't even mind running it if people were interested). But if there has been one done recently I won't bother. It'd be neat for people to rank each season with 1-32 points (the number of seasons) and then give like a 2-5 sentence explanation of why they ranked it low/medium/high which I could include a few of the reasonings with each ranking. Any interest?

Idk if this has ever been brought up but is there anyone who genuinely hates a cast member on here. Like I can understand not being a fan since these people for the most part are strangers. But seriously is there someone you just hate/dislike/despise?

Backpack and Camilla for me.

Tori from Road Rules, but that’s about it. There are others that annoy me, but she’s the one cast member I loathe entirely.

aryan mike his butt buddy petey and giotardo i despise

Hate is hard since we don't know them personally but I have a very strong dislike for Tori Hall-Fiorenza & Jodan Wiseley...I just believe both are horrific people.  Tori's a ***** and Jordan overcompensates for his countless short-comings.
