I'd rather non-cast members than some of these Real World people especially since the people on the most recent seasons are annoying and mostly everyone on Real World retires after 1-2 seasons nowadays. Obviously I prefer mainly Real World on the show but including other shows is good if they get the right people. I'm not saying AYTO/Stranded is any better than them and I know some non-cast members can be just as bad or sometimes worse BUT you must be crazy to prefer the racist, the abusive boyfriend, and Dione over any of them. Not hating but I do prefer some non-cast members especially during this time because most RW or other vets just become minions to Bananas and even the ones who never debut yet want to work with Bananas. It's sad when the majority of the people likely to be against Bananas on the speculated list for this season are non-cast members. I could be overreacting but even if Derrick is put on the list we all know who he will side with. I'm just a disappointed fan.

Changing the name doesn't change the origins of the show. AYTO has added nothing--predictably. When Shane is the star (a guy that never was in the Golden Era of the show) you know just how irrelevant these losers from AYTO and even the newer seasons of the Real World are. Casting sucks for the Real World but these losers from AYTO and Stranded aren't helping the show at all. Comparing it giving women the right to vote only proves you're a ******* idiot and probably in your teens

And honestly Aneesa is really the old-schooler out of those three. I consider Backpack and Wes Mid-School.
But if this is Old vs New and they add people from Seasons 2 onward as old school then they really need to just change it to Rookies vs Vets. Then just focus on getting a strong cast of Rookies.
If they only had TJ Lavin as a host, they're not old school.... (Aneesa, CT, Mark, Abe, Derrick, Darrell, Shane, and whoever else is under the social media radar). They could probably make that work if they wanted to.
