Evelyn carried more because she was the stronger of the two. Whoever has the most strenth between the two should be the one to carry more as they can handle more weight. And plus Luke w***maller than her so having him carry more weight wouldn't made any sense because it would've slowed them down. You don't make your weaker person carry more weight than they can. I honestly think that Evelyn has more politics on her way and she knows how to handle it while Laurel never needed those politics to have the record she has.
Evelyn post-island got better with politics but she was pretty much never the underdog. If we compare their debuts (both on Fresh Meat and Fresh Meat 2 ) Ev had a worst partner than Laurel but Laurel performed "god-like" on that show along side with Kenny. Evelyn however never had the opurtunity of getting on a solo challenge (would have loved to see her on Duel 1 or Duel 2 or even Free Agents) while Laurel won FA which was individual.
Ev for me underperfomed alot on Inferno 3 (it was an odd season for everyone to be honest), on G3 she was in the main alliance and lost that final due to Big Easy, then she was on that traggic season of Island and ended up doing the deal with Johnny and she even beat guys on the face-offs but her record after that was really meh. Even on Rivals 1 when she was in direct confront with Laurel she was lucky that Cara wasn't the beast she is now and ended up dragging Laurel in that final.
Finally if I had to choose a partner I would choose Laurel because Ev has shown that like Laurel she has that desire to win but she is a ******* bad sore loser. Laurel has well ( those roasts tho) but at least Laurel never blamed Cara for finishing 2nd or Kenny or the Grey Team. Both "Horrible" teammate wise but I would def. choose Laurel cuz she is an amazon and has size on her side.
