Honestly the word "Excuses" are been used wayyy tooooooo much here on vevmo lately. Otherwise everytime somebody loses in any competition and they try to see how they lost, are automatically excuses with that logic? Using "excuses" everytime somebody is trying to explain how X lost, isn't giving excuses about something. If somebody has fear of heights and then a challenge involving heights comes, that is just part of the reason they lost. Theo knows what he did was dumb, the second he quit, he knew that TJ would be mad at him. If Anthony would have had the same fear that Theo has been telling to have that moment, you always have to put things into perspective if he had lost by not doing. What does claiming to be an athlete to do with not doing this jump? Muhammed Ali and Wayne Gretzky were known to be afraid of heights during their prime. Of course before an elimination round you claim to beat somebody, you have to get some kind confidence in this situation. Correct me if I am wrong, but there has never been an actual elimination round that involved jumping from a cliff? In Theo's and probably Cory's eyes too, I think there is a pretty much even playing field in everything else that are usually used for elimination rounds regarding these two, so him claiming to beat Cory before hand, looks bad afterwards, but no way does it look bad before the elimination round, it's rather common that people claiming to win something against somebody in any competition beforehand.Anika outshined Theo in this situation, is it Theo's fault that Anika did it, maybe Theo is just more afraid to jump than Anika? This thing about "You know what you signed up for" BS is getting out of hand when they use it for a rookie tbh and people make a far too much of a buzz about it. Darrell admitted in many shows and spots that "If something involves heights....Imma lose", so it remains in question if Theo would have been the only one that wouldn't have done it. Another thing that should be took into consideration but this thing is getting too much.JBL comment where about Theo could have at least tried it, which is not really the best thing to say here, because trying doesn't exist in this scenerio, either he jumped or he didn't. How can he possibly tried to jump here? Of course quitting is understandable if you look it :" If Wes quit after his tights were cramping and he couldn't have move anymore and he would have quit, it's understandable. If CT would have quit after physically not able to take it anymore on Exes 1, it would have been understandable. If you are afraid of heights and you can't do it, it's understandable. If you are afraid of spiders or snakes and you don't want spiders or snakes anywhere near you, it's understandable. You have to look how they quit and why? There has been pletly of ways to quit and ironically it was the same three people that JBL used. The fact that it's somehow forbidden to quit lately in these challenges eventhough they get more and more extreme, is rather mindblown to me and sooo many old schoolers said that they wouldn't want to do a challenge because of those reasons and they would quit immediatly.IMO, Nate's situation is far worse than Theo tbh, he at least had somebody that was a professional behind him and he never once said before or afterwards that he was scared of heights.
Guess what if it was Anthony, Nelson, Dario or Cory, I would say the EXACT same thing. If you quit you're a *****, no discussion neededAnd how dare you compare physical pains when you can't do nothing physically anymore regarding Wes or CT, whether you want or not, the body can't follow anymore and Theo where all he got to do, was literally jump in the air. He already climbed the mountain, so it was really stupid on his part to give up without even trying. How do you know Anika wasn't more afraid than Theo ? Maybe she was, but because she really wanted to be in the game, she played it fair and jumped.Because being an athlete require overcome his fears. I mean most of football players, baseball, basketball players, etc... are pretty scared of pressure (which could be mentally worse than jumping from a cliff because of adrenaline), those players are very stressed out to mess up, and since Theo is a so called football player, I assume he is getting use to overcome a big amount of stress and fear, but he didn't !Finally the show is called THE CHALLENGE not Big Brother. It's on since 1998 not 2015. He should know what to expect in a show where at some point, they will make you compete in a challenge which requires to face your biggest fears. So yes, he knew in what he signed up for... acting like "how poor Theo, jumping from a cliff is pretty scary" is rather funny to stay polite. I'm personally scared of snakes, spiders and eating shit. I know if I sign up for this show, at least one challenge will requires me to face one of my three biggest fears. I couldn't overcome them, that's why I will never sign up for this. I know what to expect, so to say Theo didn't know he would jump from a cliff is rather BS at this point, I'm sorry if it's colloquial. Finally, Nate was a BIG *****, no debate here. BUT it wasn't an official mission, while Theo lost at an OFFICIAL ELIMINATION. So he's the biggest loser objectively regardless. So yeah, I still use the term "excuses" because you think emotionally over this and not objectively. No disrespect intended.
Smh @ people on this site LOL . It's always a lot easier to criticise people on the challenge from the comfort of your home when you never have to back it up. I mean it would have been one thing if he quit a competition. But jumping off a cliff is a different story. I mean for someone who has a fear of heights it would be absolutely terrifying & the worse possible situation to be put in. It's also a joke to compare jumping off a ******* cliff where you could die if something goes wrong to a professional or college athletes being stressed for a big game hahaha. Not to make excuses for Theo or anything, but once he hesitated to jump it didn't even matter because Cory had won at that point.
GDInstall wrote:I feel like out of all the three recently, I am positive that Theo was in the toughest spot to accomplish it, so IMO his quitting is the most understanding. I mean even Jenna said in the episode that it was really scary and since Theo actually climb up, in my opinion that proves that he tried to do this elimination round as much as he could, just didn't want to jump and coulnd't. There was no room to do the "at least try it" once it came to jump. It was either jump or don't. So the argument of "at least try" can't really be use here in regards to others. But this elimination round sucks, I mean 5 seconds and it's over basically if you compare it to the one before ?
It would be Anthony for instance, you would never type these excuses for him.I like Theo but we got to be fair. He claimed to be an athlete, right ? He claimed he will beat Cory, right ? He's scared of height ? Guess what, Anika too and yet she jumped. No excuses AT ALL. He knew in which show he signed up for. The name of the show by itself prevents it. He should know at some point, they would do some heights type of challenges. Theo didn't try to jump, regardless he climbed up the mountain or not which is still making him a *****. And no his quitting is not understandable at all...It's funny how everybody buried Nate for not jumping from a plane (while it wasn't an official challenge) but find any type of excuses when it comes to Theo when he basically did the same thing during an OFFICIAL ELIMINATION.

but why go on s challenge if you won't do heights? I mean it isn't like the stuff hasn't been tested multiple times so it's safe or they wouldn't have it, I mean Darrell HATES heights but I don't see him saying I am just going to leave and not do it just because it is heights
You mean like when Ashley almost got her arm snapped off last season?
And dangerously close to hitting one of the various barrels randomly floating in the water, not to mention Cory almost landing on her.
Tbf i probably tought Nate was a ***** to jump of that plane but its understandable, I was more dissapointed with Theo but i understand both of them. I still think that i would have jumped in both cases, Nate had all time to gather courage to jump but in Theo's case the clock was ticking so i dunno. Really dissapointed with him and was expecting more of him. I for instance wouldn't do any challenge involving bugs (mostly spiders which im terrified of).

This, and this elimination really put that in perspective for me.
Theo flopped, he talked mad shit and thought he was a beast because he went to northern Illinois. Heneeds to get over himself, it really makes sense the things the rest of the bad blood cast said about him getting a extremely good edit.

Which means TJ was right , he doesn't have the heart to do the show. Perspective or not, he's still a *****. He quit. He lost. It would be Dario for instance, in no way, you would think of a perspective when it would come to him. Plus the whole thing was really secure, nobody died from this in the show. Perspective or not, he's a ***** like Nate and should never come back. CaseClosed !
I was iffy about Theo after watching the episode, but he's taking the hate like a champ, which is good. I lowkey hope he comes back.
Still don't understand why Anika was getting so much hate here. She killed it. The girls people were comparing her to (Casey, Jasmine, Simone, etc.) would not have even made it through the hike, let alone the jump. Good job, girl. You did that.
Kailah would be less annoying if she stopped treating The Challenge like high school. I kind of like her, but at the same time she's highkey the type of girl who would **** all her friends' boyfriends and then claim to not know why people hate her. For my AYTO fans, she's the RW version of Alicia. To me.
It's a sad day when Jenna's the strongest female. Currently.
Really digging the friendship between Toya, Sylvia and Anika. I didn't go into this season thinking I would like Sylvia, but she's cute, and she seems genuine.
Anthony is still king.
Nelson's a shameless fanboy, and I kind of like that about him. Go on.
I legitimately forgot Dario was there until they showed him at the housevote.
Hunter reminds me of Danny from RW Austin, and that's not a compliment.
Ashley has nice legs.
TJ sassy as always.
Overall I enjoyed this episode. So far this season feels very fresh and rejuvenated. I'm actually not looking forward to the Champs. Maybe just Laurel and Darrell. The rest can stay at home and knit.
CANT win. Either wallpaper or annoying/doing too much/cant wait for Ct/Bananas/Darrell to teach (insert AYTO male here) a lesson for being confident and outspoken

Yup ! Besides, Nelson is a perfect example of that lol

Didn't like how Kassius was cutting on the rope preventing Theo from wanting to do the jump. Ruined the amazing challenge career he had in front of him.

What so if you're scared of heights, you can't still be a beast physically in competitions? Seriously what the **** are you talking about. Being in shape & being able to beat someone's *** in something physical has nothing to do with having a fear of heights.

Bacchus wants this to be a fun place again. I try to help with that by unpublish posts and do essays.

****, TJ is savage.
**** ac'the lol with her sth'upid ass'th recaps'th
My favorite thing in life is when TJ roasts quitters and ******* like Theo
That was funny but looking through his Twitter seems like he's getting a lot more hate than he expected and he doesn't know how to handle it lol
I'm surprise he didn't roast Bruno for quiting the challenge.
watched 2 minutes of her recap, said Jenna's cringy map comment was hilarious so I exited .
lol her videos are the worst. When she says hey y'all hey that is when I know to stop.
Can't even read replys cause of the idiots who spoil things on here.

Dario really is wallpaper lol
It's better that way I guess. Otherwise several people would call him "annoying".Either way, he's cuter when he's quiet. #PrinceDario <3

Like thank god im not reading this on my phone tbh

Another wasted spot tbh.

I kinda love the fact that TJ seems to don't like Jenna and Tony... at all. He didn't like Nate as well, as far as I remembered
