I would have done the same thing Theo did, so I can't really judge him. lol. But that's why I would never be on a challenge anyway. See Theo thought because he was an athlete in college or high school that he could own the challenge, but you have to be willing to do that daredevil crap and that's a different thing. Us black people don't go rock climbing or bungee jumping for fun. lol. Salute to Anika for coming through and doing it, but I sure wouldn't have done something like that.
MTV doesn't give two shits if he quit and TJ has nothing to do with casting, if production likes him and he fits the theme he will be back.

I think his chances are slimmer after quiting. Given that Bad Blood is a cast of 14, he can easily be replaced by Will or Kassius, or any other participant. But valid arguement, and I welcome any new face that is not Leroy.
