I don't see Real World getting canceled. Especially if they want to keep the challenges going. They need newer people and they just can't get all of them from AYTO given that hardly anyone likes them on this show anyways and on top of that they got their own thing now. They won't do a proper Fresh Meat 3 and they're not gonna utilize the bloodlines like they should. A feeder show is needed and The Real World is it.

That was back when people actually cared about TRW though, with AYTO, BGC, LHHH, Vanderpump Rules, and BB around people just aren't as interested
Excuses, I am not saying it should get ratings like before all I am saying if this season was any better than the last the ratings would be atleast a little higher. The prior season is not to blame, the ratings they are getting is this season fault after the first episode. Not a lot of People are tunning in and the majority of those that are tunning in find this season boring. Look at bgc after 14 ppl though it was going to get cancel, but I have had 2 somewhat sucessful seasons not by a lot but it has increased.
Real World have touched bottom rating wise at the time before and they have had come back seasons.
Examples- DC then it had Nola2/Vegas both where sucessful after a terrible season in the ratings and the same happened after San Diego/ST thomas/Portland follow by Explosion/Skeletons that both were able to put it back on the map.
Hopefully if this does get renew they get it together for next season and cast interesting personalities that can carried this show
**** RW is not going anywhere, I don't know why people are saying that. MTV in general is doing terribly; isn't the show still in the top 3 out of all the shows ratings wise? ****, I don't see them ever canceling it just based on the longevity.
I feel like the main reason this season isn't doing well is because of promotion. You have the most AA people in one season that the show has ever had and you DON'T have consistent promos on VH1/BET? ......I mean what did they expect to happen?
Its people not watching literally off the strength of there being "too many black people". AAs will take a show & make it a HIT in ratings, why do yall think VH1 is consistently killing shit?
I didn't even know vh1 was still a thing. I thought it died after they cancelled I love money.
i feel like this seasons cast is weak. The "bad blood" is weak. Too many people not enough hype. But isn't all their fault, GBGH sucked major **** too and that didn't help this seasons ratings or make people want to tune in.
they need drama. They need people who like to argue and fight and that have real issues.
diverse casting got mixed up in their minds to let's cast a bunch of black people and show how diverse we are.
find some entertainment. Lana, Kim, Robbie, Kassius, Will and Anika should not even be there at all

It didn't matter if everyone on here found it entertaining; most casual viewers didn't know a new season was even starting until about 2 weeks beforehand. Their solution was to do a teensy bit of promotion only on their network that nobody is watching in the first place.

If RW were to ever phase out and the challenges kept going, would they just cast 4 random new people every season? I think that would be the best way to go about it 4 new people every season that go through the same RW application process + AYTO people + Fresh Meat type show every 5+ or so seasons. Or some other interesting way to introduce people (Bloodlines, Significant Others etc)

skeletons had bad ratings of 500k and then by the end of the show they were making a consistent 900 to 1.3 million viewers.
so there's always hope. and no you cannot blame the death of Real World on Bad Blood.
