Ok rewatched the episode and I'm more on Kim's side than Tya. Her outcast attitude was interesting at first and I sympathized but if she's gonna whine all season then no thanks.

About the whole accent thing, I'm thinking tya lived in England AFTER high school and learned how to do a proper English accent. I don't think it comes naturally but she clearly knows how lol better than my fake brit accent.

Living in another country for a long period of time does slightly change your speech so Tya probably has a slight accent on certain words from living in the UK but I think she also overexaggerates her accent too. I grew up with a girl from South Africa who moved to our town in 5th grade. By our senior year of high school, her accent was pretty much non-existent. It only came out when she spoke to her parents (who had strong accents). /csb
But is it really Kim's business whether Tya's accent is fake or real? Was Tya using her accent to ruin Kim's life? I'm actually #TeamTya (for now) because if someone is irrelevant to your life like Kim says Tya is, you wouldn't talk so much smack about them now or in past.
