am rewatching sydney for the first time since it aired and my god, i miss isaac
i watch it occassionally as well when it comes on my ps3, in fact my favorite episode is 16-17 the two part Enjoy Your Flight episode. Trisha was such a racist narcissistic *****. Parisa should've given her what she came for, Rihanna/Taylor Swift style.
social media rw or a family season are two totally bad ideas. Just because BGC did it, which is really boring overall as a whole, doesn't mean RW should try it. Besides who would watch or try out for it not mention bloodliness flopped.
I disagree. Aside from Bad Girls Club other shows have used social media stars as way to gain viewers like The Amazing Race and Love & Hip Hop. Like someone else mentioned I believe Real World has a better potential of casting people who are actually social media famous opposed to Bad Girls Club. As for a family season there definitely isn't any wrong with that idea. Once again almost all every show has done it including Survivor and Big Brother. I think it's likely to happen anyway because Real World can't really survive unless they have a twist that produces drama which seems to be bringing in extra people for them.
Now if Real World wanted to take a step back to it's roots they would do like a season involving people very vocal about the big topics in the world today like racism, police brutality, and terrorism currently happening in the world. Get people with very different opinions and you have a good season.

Put me on that ***** & you'll definitely have a show lol

I don't see a season like this working honestly.
I think it could but it would bring Real World back to it's original format which is about different strangers coming together but with today's casting I feel almost everyone they cast is very similar to each other.

I like this story because it actually matters and is relevant. Seeing a season chock full of relatives is/would be a disgrace and NOT what the show is about no other way around it.
I can only imagine a SM type season:
"This is the true story....of 88 strangers...and their devices...."

That's why I think it wouldn't work. Everyone would be similar to each other and on top of that they may have that one person who is the lightning rod for drama kinda similar to Jenna from GBOGH. They wouldn't cast like they did back in the day.
This may be me prejudging the upcoming season but I still feel they don't know how to cast guys for Real World. Aside from Theo's issues with his cousin none of them seem interesting like we didn't need Mike from AYTO and with Robbie I still feel like I'm watching Jay. It just feel like they cast the guys as a afterthought like the casting directors pick the girls and then look at guys they think are hot and choose them at random.

@your last sentence you hit the nail on the **** head. Its also evident in how they cast more women than they do men. Like there are what 7 guys, Will/Mike/Peter/Robbie/Theo/Will/Kassius and the rest are women.

Wasn't Will heavily speculated to have gotten into it with Mike? I know the trailer kind of showed him v.s. Robbie but those could've been two different incidents. I think a lot of people sleeping on Will but we'll see.
I will say it until I turn blue in the face though: Mike REALLY didn't need to be on this show.
I'm not specifically speaking on Will, Peter, or Kass because they were brought in for being attached to someone. Like I think Theo might be entertaining when Kass arrives but judging from the trailer it looks like the guys are the same basic type they cast every season who are all about being in a crew and doing dumb pranks.

I dunno..Mike and Robbie I may see your point But I think Theo will be a bit different.
But the reason I think they cast the guys so blandly now is because women in RTV is hot right now and this is their way of trying to get in on that without dishing out money to create a housewife/love and hip-hop type show in addition to that..Backpack needs more followers for the challenges so they cast guys who'll be more than happy to be up his *** and the type of guys you described are likely to do just that.
I wonder would Real World consider doing a Social Media season like Bad Girls Club. I don't know how ratings will be but Bad Girls Club went from being almost dead to being one of the top trending topics tonight on Twitter. Although that might also have something to do with actually promoting the show and creating a good trailer which MTV and Bunim Murray fail miserably at when it comes to Real World.

That was just speculated over the fact that thry popped out on social network around the same time, but it was very likely will be sneaky during filming. I wouldnt be shock if Will only drama is with Anika.
The more I think about it, I really want to see a Social Media season because I feel like there will be more actual "stars" willing to do it than BGC. I'm trying to see either Summerella or the Gonzalez Twins ****

God, you are so right. I haven't been invested in Real World guys in such a long time, although I will say that I think Bruno/Tony were decent choices. It just feels like they go for the same type of guy over and over and over... the attractive one that will hook up with girls. But that's boring; we've seen that already every season. I need some variety!!
whoeber is in charge of the reairing of these seasons needs to be slapped in the face. Show all the ******* seasons not just a few. Key West is ******* terrible yet they skip over Miami, Boston, Back to NY, CHicago, all ones I was looking forward to. What a joke.
The only thing intriguing about it was the timeframe it was shot with all the hurricanes that year. Thats really it imo. I actually found Austin to be more entertaining than Key West.

I do too. One of the most criminally underused people in this franchise.
Oh and Parisa will forever be queen for "enjoy your flight".
parisa and trisha annoy me both equally

Another good idea would be a season of Best Friends but I can see Bad Girls Club using that idea first.

Still waiting for the militant brotha with radical opinions to get on here with a Jenna-type Caucasian person.
I'm going to need to start trying out lol I only got 2 more years of eligibility unless they let me slide through at 27....

The ratings for bgc was 500k viewers

Watching New Orleans 2 and it's the episode where Queen Sahar goes in on Knight <3
who?

I thought we don't talk about sahar because of Exes 2?
You thought wrong, pretty much
The Real WorlD Key West unfortunately begins rearing Oct. 1st at 1/12 CDT
speaking of B2NO, I totally would've shipped Knight and McKenzie.

I am in the minority maybe because I watched online not to long ago for the first time and I though that season was good lol
