And while we're on the topic of Exes 2 how can we not forget one of the greatest moments? :)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xILoahV-kPc
I liiiiiiiived in this moment! I ******* love Nia because she has balls and isn't afraid to speak her mind. I still hate they sent her home for pointing at Jordan's ****. So stupid.
This guy is a terrible person and one of the most horrible people to ever be on television. But in spite all of that he was a great character in his lone challenge appearance which was Battle of the Sexes(and if you haven't seen that season then i highly recommend it as it's one of the single best challenges ever produced) and he one of the highlights of that season. During his time on that season the following happened: He spit in David's(Los Angeles) face, got spat on back by David, somehow got everyone rallied around him to stay, then went on and had one **** of a rivalry with Ellen(One of the best this show has ever had IMO), got married on the show, threatened to kick Ellens ***, then later on he just destroyed the men's villa with a Ma-che-te filled rage and left like a theif in the night. Keep in mind all of this shit happened in 6/7 episodes! He was more entertaining and interesting in just a few episodes than alot of people who go on to do an ***load of challenges(Leroy and Backpack I'm looking at you). And it's crazy that given how awful this guy is he was a better character overall than people like Knight/Jordan/Backpack whom are ******** but not nearly as interesting and dynamic as Puck was. That is a testatment to how they use to do casting back in the day. Too bad we don't get shit like that now.
But like I said before..Puck was awful but he was a **** good character for better or worse and he was just one of the things that Made Sexes 1 the excellent challenge it was.
Puck was a great character. Don't think he needed to any more challenges cause that was the best way he made his mark. A much better villain than Backpack will ever be.
dont know if it was true or not but I remember a rumor that Mark and Puck were suppose to be a Rivals pair. But I never understood what feud they had in the first place
Puck was a great character. Don't think he needed to any more challenges cause that was the best way he made his mark. A much better villain than Backpack will ever be
So True. Like I said he was much more interesting and dynamic and didn't need a thousand challenges to do something. He made a mark right out the gate much like Chadwick did on Seasons 1.

Really? I never heard that. Would've been awesome to see though.
Ruthie was never crazy or entertaining(well at least not on the challenges) but she was amazing because she was zen-like, supportive, and always seemed to do what's best for her team(or herself) and she was also fair too. On her challenge debut which was Battle of the Sexes she ******* DOMINATED. She did well in pretty much every mission and was THE top preformer on the team which was why she was in the inner circle alot. Sexes 1 was a special challenge for her because after everything she had been through on her RW season it was just so good to see her focused, preforming well and having her head on straight. Colin, her RW season-mate whom was also on that season with her was her biggest fan and was so supportive of her run on that season. You can tell he was in her corner because he watched her at her darkest moment and how she rose from the ashes of all that. He even stated that he wished that she was on his team so she could've won too. Oh and on the reunion Both Ruthie and Colin had hats on with each other names on it which was so cute. I wonder if those two still talk.
Her later challenges were a little less dominating and interesting but she always stayed calm and positive and did what she thought was right for her team. She had a good relationship with Sophia or Sexes 2, Did good on Gauntlet 2 up until she lost to Beth, and handled herself well on Duel 2.
Overall Ruthie was ******* cool and was always a good character. She's someone who is a great example of one reason why I watch The challenges: To see people in a different light and if they changed or stayed the same. She's also a case where her RW season kind enhanced her challenge appearnces. She was a mess on RW so when she got on the challenges it was great to see her in such a better place and doing so well. It added to her character and cemented her as one of the best faces to ever grace this franchise and again..that's what the Challenge is supposed to do IMO.
It was nice seeing Ruthie make a comeback on the Duel 2. Isaac and Ruthie were one of the pairs I was rooting for on the Duel 2. Sucks neither lasted long.
Ruthie was great. It was nice seeing her bounce back from her demons and remain stable and likeable throughout her challenge appearances. Paula should have taken notes.
Ruthie and Colin's friendship was sweet too. The show really lacks that kind of continuity now when former roommates appear on challenges together and editing makes it look like they're strangers to each other

This show lacks ANY kind of continuity with The Real World now. It's like they're two seperate shows with no relation to each other at all and I don't like that. I mean you'd think that all the new RW'ers that come on this show are from Fresh Meat or something if you didn't know any better.
Like I really wanted to see KellyAnne and Cohutta interact on Bloodlines. But no let's focus on Camilanator and the played out Cara vs Backpack rivalry.

Yeah. And we NEVER See Nany and Leroy talk to each other on any challenge.
But we did see Cory and Jenna intereact with each other in The Bloodlines Final. And on The shit they should've shown.
Shit Cory and Ashley were paired together last season and it kinda seemed like they met for the first time despite them having history.
Jisela was a pefect fit for this franchise. She was real, argumentive, *****y, and wasn't afraid to call people out. See Battle of the Seasons where she questioned Chadwick about the alliance he made with the Inner circle. Then on Battle of the Sexes where she had the classic JOHNNY! WHERE THE **** IS JOHNNY!. She wouldn't return until Gauntlet 2 where she didn't do much but quit. Honestly I think she should've been a bigger name than what she was in terms of this franchise but alas that didn't happen given her stint on the challenges. But I'll always remember her screaming for Johnny and Snapping on Adam back on Road Rules.
One of my favorite competitors ever on the Challenge because Alton truly was a beast. He wasn't entertaining drama wise but he didn't have to be because he was there to compete and he didn't disappoint. He had a very impressive rookie season on the Gauntlet, one of the best championship runs on the show in the Gauntlet 2, and he made it again to the finals in the Inferno 3. I thought it was nice of him to sacrifice himself for Davis against Tyrie because you don't see a selfless move like that on these shows anymore. With Alton you weren't getting any drama, but you were guaranteed good competition and he had a lot of heart.
He went on a mini challenge break and came back for Seasons 2, but I thought he was a different Alton than we've seen previously. He was getting into more fights, mostly with Zach and Frank and he had a hook up with Sarah Poppins (whoever came up with that name, lol) that led to problems between him and Trishelle. I was totally on Alton's side though because Zach and Frank were horrible people. I wish he didn't mentally give up because I wanted to see Team Vegas all make it to the final. And he wasn't feeling the environment in the house this time so his record of making the finals was broken. It's likely we won't see him back, but I wish he would.
Jisela was entertaining. I think she would have been also during this era of challenges but I'm glad she was part of the golden era and we saw just enough of her to appreciate her time on the show
People may not be familar with this girl but Her first appearence was on RW Boston. She then did one challenge and that was The Extreme Challenge which was the first one I ever watched! She was always cool people and my two biggest memories of her on that season was her on a mission where they had to walk a tightrope and her not being able to reach her saftey line. That shit was scary as ****. Then her breaking up What would've been a fight between Syrus and James. I'm sure there was more but I haven't seen that season in awhile.
But yeah..she was cool people and honestly I do think she is one of the best black people this show has ever produced.
Ruthie <3 one of my all time favorite girls. Fun fact: she was an alternate for Rivals 2 and was going to be Aneesa's partner if Diem declined. I wish Aneesa and Ruthie were paired together because they had had some drama from Duel 2 and even got into a funny *** twitter war when Rivals 1 was airing so they would have been actual rivals lol

You know Jamie is kinda like those two characters on Mortal Kombat 2 video game that used to poke their heads out every now and then when you fight in the Dead Forest Stage. Stayed hidden but poked their head out for some quick screentime and went back to be invisible. He was barley shown on all of the seasons he appeared on but he was one **** of a competitior. Always going to the end and winning all 3 Seasons he appeared on (Extreme Challenge, Battle of the Sexes 1, Gauntlet 2). What's crazy is that had he been on Vets team as planned on Gauntlet 2 he wouldn't have had that perfrect record too. People praise Backpack for his 5 wins but I personally think 3/3 is more impressive.
But yeah..Jamie was always chill, kinda zen-like, not into drama. Very Low-Key so he's not remembered by alot of people(not even people who watched during the golden era) but he was the best kind of Low-Key Character though.
And while we're on the topic of Exes 2 how can we not forget one of the greatest moments?

Exes 2 was great. Can't believe MTV followed that up with Dudlines and Trivial 3, right when the challenge found it's footing again.
One of the best moments of Recent memory. Nia really needs to return to the challenges.
****, The Challenges need to start being good again.
I know right? Hopefully the next season will put it back on track.
I liiiiiiiived in this moment! I ******* love Nia because she has balls and isn't afraid to speak her mind. I still hate they sent her home for pointing at Jordan's ****. So stupid.
Nany/Theresa rivalry? Theresa all the way. Nany is just...UGH
T-Bone your hatred for Theresa is giving me life.

The fact that Ruthie still wants to do Challenges though....

Aneesa could have been paired with so many women on Rivals: Cara Z, Shauvon, Beth, Tori, Diem, Laurel, Cara Maria, Ev, Paula, Ruthie the list goes on
And Kameelah was amazing, especially in this scene. Boston was such a great season! Too bad this is the only scene that's on youtube )=
Was she really? I had no Idea she was considered for Rivals 2. They should've went with her instead of Diem.

No explanation needed. Still the best aftershow segment imo.
