Bunch of Rookies came in via Seasons 2 and got some shine and were ready the give the vets a taste of the rookie revolution and I'm pretty sure that the vets wanted to get at them too. Not to mention that alot of the fans wanted to see it as well. So why didn't the go through with it? It wasn't going to do bad ratings wise as bascially EVERYONE wanted to see that shit happen and the castmembers themselves were expecting it. It would've been one hell of a showdown but no...we get Rivals 2 and to add insult to injury they pair the one person who was going to lead the charge on the vets(Frank) with ******* Packpack over a godamn twitter beef? That is some bullshit. MTV had a chance to get a good season and turn this show around for good but yet they settle for a mediocre season with all the rookies just assembling with the vets. What a **** up.Missed opprotunity for sure.
Would you have wanted them to do a Vets vs. Rookies with the cast they had already or a completely different one? Because if I remember correctly, the guys were split perfectly 8 vets (CT, Wes, Johnny, Derek, Ty, Leroy, Dunbar, & Tyrie) and 8 rookies (Frank, Zach, Preston, Knight, Jordan, Marlon, Trey, & Robb). The girls however, were not as there were only 6 rookies (Cooke, Naomi, Anastasia, Jessica, Nany, & Jemmye) and 10 vets (Paula, Emily, Jasmine, Jonna, Aneesa, Trishelle, Diem, Sarah, Camila, & Theresa).
What realistic cast of that time would you have done for a Rookies vs. Vets in place of Rivals II?

I've honestly never liked these hard-*** finals they do. I mean for one they're not really all that entertaining to watch. There's nothing cool, fun, or unique about them. They just come off as shit that army troops or Olympic athletes do. I mean they got them climbing up moutains, riding sleigh dogs, drinking nasty shit etc. It's just all too much given the amount of money theyr're competing for. Then there's the overnight shit which is so pointless to me..they can't do all that shit in one day? What is the point? It feels like it's dragged out. And then there's that bullshit head start with is like 1/2 minutes to it..like for what? May as well have them all start at the same time.
I mean I guess the finals fit the show now as the missions have gotten more extreme so it makes sense the final is as well but dialing it back a bit would be good. They did a good job of that with the Bloodlines final challenge. If only they keep doing shit like that then I'll be happy.
I'm not even going to wait until Rivals 3 is over to write this. I hate this guy. He's not funny, not likeable, and hasn't shown anything as a competitor. The guy also looks very dirty all the time. He's just gross. I have no reason to believe he'll become better over time because let's face it, he's related to Bananas. The only way he can be redeemed in my eyes is if he can do well on a challenge without Johnny. All I needed was tonight's episode to put him in the burn book. He has not had one redeemable moment on the show. Shame on you, MTV, for casting this loser.
