The Challenge: Rivals 3 - The Curse of the Black Skull

The dynamic between Leroy/Averey would've been interesting to watch. It's a shame that they had to go home. They're both athletic and would have kicked *** in the elimination rounds. I could also see them arguing if they won a mission because Leroy would side with Johnny while Averey would side with Wes. They would've done well in a final together too )=

Zzzz he's boring. Next.

Leroy is boring as ****, but he is a nice guy.

Yeah. He's done 7/8 challenges now so I wouldn't mind if he took a break. I'm more upset that we lost Averey.

I like Leroy, but he is boring. His jokes aren't even funny anymore and he doesn't really add anything. I liked him on Rivals and Exes2 and that was it. The rest it felt like he doesn't care and doesn't play the game. I really don't care to see him come back tbh.

In my eyes, we only lost Averey and some guy that was her partner.

I love Leroy, idgaf. I was sad to see him and Avery leave.

I was finished with Leroy the second when he, as A black dude, started making gorilla noises at Jenna on exes2 because he thought it would be a funny way to show he was attracted to her

that article made me appreciate Leroy more. Hope he gets a win soon.

Nah he's good

people on this site hate like every guy in this current era of the franchise so not surprised. I'm always going to **** with Leroy

Shit. I want someone new to take Leroy's place. He does nothing for this show and he will never do anything for this show. Yeah he's a decent person but he just doesn't care.

And I'm saying this from a VIEWER'S PRESPECTIVE. It gets annoying when people bring up "oh he's getting paid great! why should he stop!" Yeah...We all know why he(and everyone of the regualrs) come on this show all the time but AS A VIEWER..one that likes to see newer REAL WORLD castmembers come on and intergrate into the challenge world it gets annoying to see him all the time on these shows and barely does anything when there are so many others that could make an impact that don't get on and want to get on.

That is so true. People here love the girls more than anything.

But not me. Alot of my faves are guys in this current era.

The Challenge needs someone like Leroy who stays true to himself. They way he treats others especially his partners male or female is such a great example of a good person. Look at how he was with Naomi, Nia and even how he was worried about Wes during their elimination round (Exes 2). Look at how he was when he beat Cohutta on Free Agents. He's such a gracious winner and loser. Respectful.

Why the hell wouldn't he go on the show? He's getting paid.

It's annoying when people don't want him on the show. So some ******* can take his spot. No thank you. He's one of the few people that's been on The Challenge that's a decent person and ************ want him out to make room for the unknown. I don't think so.

Leroy is funny as **** and we unfortunately don't get to see it on air. Majority of the cast members if not all like Leroy.

He's not going anywhere and y'all better be happy because he's giving you're non ************ factors some screen time. Ahem Averey.

Interesting article in the Las Vegas Sun about Leroy here.  Everything folks up here say about him he seems to acknowledge.  Can't say he lacks self awareness, and is really getting 100K just show up?  Pink do you any idea?http://m.lasvegassun.com/news/2016/may/08/las-vegan-up-for-any-challenge-mtv-can-throw-at-hi/

I think he is talking about possibly winning atleast 100k in a final, to my understanding not even Bananas/CT have got that kind of pay check yet.  Nice availability pay checks for 6 weeks, but as far as I know not to those numbers yet.Anyways, I laugh about this because not even him knows the answers:""I always ask MTV, 'Why do you guys keep bringing me back?," Garrett said. "And they always say, 'You tell us. What do you think?' I don't think I bring much substance to the show. I don't know what it is, so now, I don't even care."

It's in John's contract to have at least 3 allies with him now.

Jk....I hope....

I really love Briana. Hate Brandon. But love Briana.

Shout out to Lisa Fletcher for replacing Justin Booth as executive producer. A major reason why this season feels different for all the right reasons.

I'm all for Leroy returning if there is a chance of him taking out Bananas in another elimination.

I think Leroy appeals to a lot of the viewers because he's just there to have a good time, and if he wins then he wins. If not then he's fine either way. He's just himself, which is a laid back and chill person. With all these other nut jobs on the show sometimes thats all people wanna see. Because in the beginning I was a huge fan of his esp after Rivals 1. So I get why people love seeing him. But I wish he cared more about winning, because I would like to see him win one.

As VIEWER like so many that are not represented in the discussion bored, I enjoy seeing Leroy on a challenge. I hope he gets some real swimming lessons so he can dominate the challenge.

Keep being a fan favorite and production favorite Leroy so I can see you on every challenge!

Okay, I was wondering and I know you would have the answer.  I think he's on the show, because he's a fan favorite, and one of the last castmembers from a successful Real World.  Nany and Leroy have brought they fan base with them.  He doesn't lack self-awareness though, you gotta give Leroy that...

Leroy is loyal to his relationships. The ****. Look how it treats people in general, so he can imagine how he treats those close to him.All in all he's the ******* best!

This was well said, but was the picture necessary at the end lol....

Very necessary lol. Leroy had to say what's up to his haters.

So he was FINALLY dumped? Good.

I was finished with Leroy the second when he, as A black dude, started making gorilla noises at Jenna on exes2 because he thought it would be a funny way to show he was attracted to her

Jenna said he did that, because that's the way the guys acted when she entered their room.  I found it disturbing nonetheless...

It does seem like that.  This era hasn't had a guy that everyone likes.

Sad that to see Leroy and Averey go. Leroy has been one of my favorites since his debut, same with averey. They definitely would have gone far with the possible alliances they had

Love Leroy and Averey too much. They would have been a good team.

I also really like Chey/Devin. Sad to see them go. Cheys a sweetheart and Devin has been funny so far.

Waaaaaaaay too much of Jessica. Like seriously. It got to a point where I started thinking like Johnny for a bit.

Sad to see Avery go. She really has a lot of potential to do good. Leroy is too much of a follower for me to like. Maybe if he does a challenge where Bananas isn't playing I'll be ok seeing him.

The Skull twist was lame. I don't consider it "bad" per se, but they could've come up with something better. Is like a whatever twist that doesn't add much.

I liked Devin and his partner. Ashely is kinda hilarious.

So far I don't mind AYTO and the newbies. It feels fresh. I Like the vibe. Cool to see new people getting camera time too (minus Jessica).

This season started better than Bloodlines, imo. I do hope though that they go back to challenges + eliminations every episode.
