You killed me with this line lol. And I been only to Waterford/Detroit and I could see the bridge to Canada from there. I guess its the Ontario province? I don't know. lol
Yup, that's Ontario (Windsor is the city, specifically). Also, does anyone else think Toronto would be a great location? But I doubt they'd ever do it, especially considering the age requirement was 21 and not 19 this season.
Toronto would be an amazing city for The Real World... no clue why they haven't done it yet.
Are the home tapes always this bad? I googled 'Real World 32 home tape' and everything I found was lame. Do the interesting people's videos get hidden or am I missing something?
I wouldn't say they are all boring. I watched a couple and they have good backstories.
Yeah lame was a strong word to use. Just thought they would be more action to grab attention. Guess backstory is a huge part of being picked?
Also how long after Skype do people usually get the email about the home tape?
Sooo if they said call backs will be happening sometime next week for one on one skype auditions but a couple of people got theirs within 24 hours and got to go back to the site to meet with casting directors for one on ones what does this mean? Do I have absolutely no chance or what? And none of my personal info is on my account so don't give me the whole "you're ruining your chances by posting here" thing bc I get it I just need answers lol

If you went to a casting call and didn't hear back that night your chances are pretty much slim to none. Your second best chance would be just sending in a home tape and hoping for the best.
Does anyone remember how much the cast makes during filming? Is it $300 weekly or is that Bad Girls Club?
Kailah made it seem like it wasnt that much on some podcast she did yesterday, I am assumming around 200-300 a week.
She also say a couple of the roomates including herself got a job during filming even thpugh it wasnt a requirement for that season. I am assumming because they were broke lol

I was assuming they would atleast make more than that since they had missions to focus on but I see production still being cheap.
on big brother, the production covers all of their fees back at home (rent, electrical, etc)... i assumed thats what the real world did and they just had to get jobs so they'd have money to go out and party/eat
Seriously off subway, cooking, possibly free food at jobs and then they spend the rest on alcohol lol. But remember most of them are young so I'm sure at least one or two cast members have parents sending them money as well
But if you want to be really tight and budget your money: cut everything off and that may leave you with a car payment of like $250. Get a job on the RW make like 250 a week and you have a pretty good amount of money
I think most people in the casting proces and reading this thread will be thinking twice. It's really not enough money especially when the cast barely get's bookings after the show. I guess the only hope is to make it on The Challenge and wins some actual money.

By what I heard they dont really do that for real world or ayto
They should do Nashville. There is so much to do and parties ever night
i'd put toronto above those as a better location for the show tbqh

When casting say **** nah because you getting back with your ex... Who was also at the home tape stage.

Okay and where do I send in a home tape like I don't see an option for that
I think they said you can just put the link in the bio section of your application.
thanks so much!!! Should I create and entirely new application then?
If there is no where to add it on your current application I would.

i think nia said she made $200 + the job. dont know if it has went up now
There is no way you can live off that in the house and pay your bills back home.

200-300 would make sense since you see done of then struggling especially towards the end
$400-$500 weekly would be a better amount if they have to use that to cover expenses for the show and back home.
That's so nice of CBS to make sure their houses/cars are good they also do that for the singing shows, American Idol/The Voice.
MTV be like "you better nawt sign up if your car bill due that Friday when filming starts". lmaooo
Yeah I have NO clue how people go on the show, afford to eat out, drink, AND pay their bills back home with that weak type of money.
They get to go to Subway with the coupons MTV be sending them. That's probably how they live.

My *** would live off of chicken bacon ranch melts with southwest sauce, spicy Italians, and Powerade.
**** I was actually gonna apply but with that type of money i couldn't pay for anything...
lol thats crazy, Big Brother gets 1,000.
