I'm keeping the person that didn't lie and say they could do something they couldn't.I saw nothing from Darnell to suggest he was helpful around camp--clearly those 4 that are leading the team didn't either. Alecia doesn't have to perform better than Jennifer or Cydney.  She just has to perform better than Darnell did in the first mission--bar set very, very low.  No one voted off Jennifer or Cydney to keep her.I never said they were equally as bad--Darnell was worse in the mission--there's no disputing that

It was enough for Kyle (who was originally all for Darnell from the start) to then change his vote to Alecia. Darnell (and somewhat Cydney) did a good enough job of convincing another male on the team (who obviously started to think long-term but then faltered) to keep him just off the strength of who would be better just around camp, for their actual survival on the beach.Alecia better perform better than the other 2 girls if she wants to stay; Darnell is no longer there to be the scapegoat. She's most likely the next to go if they do lose again, which would be a shame because they could've gotten rid of her from the start.

No one "changed their vote"...they split it in case of an idol.  Is this your first season watching?

How it is a shame?  Had they got rid of Alecia this time it would just be Darnell next because they both ******* suck and add nothing.

Please think before you post--I'm too tired to deal with stupidity right now

Ignorant or true.  It is beyond ridiculous that anyone is upset/angry/mad/annoyed that a person who failed miserably in the first mission was sent home

Ignorant to claim it was only about race. As you just stated it was only the first challenge, and as a guy on a 6 person tribe, I would never want to give the 3 girls the opportunity to take over.As a female, especially if I was seen as the weakest and survived the first vote, would be working my *** off to get the other girls on my side now.I feel like sex always plays a big part in the early votes, especially with low numbers. It doesn't have to always be about race.

You're a girl? I low key thought you were a guy lol.

I can't

Exactly. You have to think about much more than just "he messed up in this one challenge". It's an entire range of things that you have to take into account when playing Survivor.

You guys keep saying this as there's something Darnell brought.

If he was killing it at camp maybe he stays

This doesn't make sense--so guys should vote off girls and the girls should vote of girls because...what?Anyone that thinks Jennifer & Cydney are going to run with women haven't listened to them for 5 seconds yet

No....you should think about who will honestly have the best chance of being more of an ***et in the challenge & around camp.

@KVM

I'm not making shit up. Just stating how incredibly stupid to assume EVERYONE automatically jumps to the "OMG HE'S BLACK AND VOTED OUT FIRST THAT'S WHY I'M UPSET"

Shit is stupid, and quite honestly it's like you're insulting people's intelligence.

What did Darnell do that made him worth a damn? Nothing. They don't have three guys but Jason and Scot are probably stronger than the guys on the other tribes anyway.

also Alicia didn't even do anything maybe she'll  surprise you,  look at Aubry i Don't think anyone excepted her to do so well.

So--it isn't about race?  Then why does anyone care that one of the two weakest people on the tribe got voted out after his pathetic performance?

I guarantee if he was a straight white guy not named Joe (was Joe straight?  who knows) there wouldn't be a discussion.  This is about a black kid getting voted off before the blonde girl.  Just sad people can't own it

I said it before andI'll say it again. No doubt in my mind she wouldn't have ****** up considering she's actually used goggles before.

I just don't understand why anything thinks it would be okay to even let Darnell try to do something in a mission again.  He sure as hell didn't seem intelligent, he's the weakest of the three guys, I'm not letting him do anything in water ever again...what's that leave?

We don't know if it would've been Darnell next time, MY whole argument about it all is that it was more likely that there wouldn't have even been a next time had they kept Darnell. The whole race aspect of it was dumb to even bring up; there would've been a better case if sexism was the argument....I personally feel that THIS early in the game, on the BRAWN team it would be much smarter to keep the male around over the woman who looks like she shouldn't be on the team in the first place.

It hasn't been good.  You aren't using any facts.  All you keep throwing out is hypotheticals.  It isn't true that it would be less likely for them to lose another challenge with Darnell--he proved he can single handedly cost you a challenge if you let him do something.  When you have two girls like Jennifer & Cydney...the last thing you need is a guy that isn't very strong.  Let's not pretend Darnell looked like he belongs either.   And, yes, as much as we "know" it would have been Alecia next we know it would have been Darnell next.

Honestly, if Darnell was useful around camp don't you think those there would have considered that?  Clearly, he wasn't doing anything that made him vital.

No one will answer the question because the can't...

What does Darnell give you if you keep him?  Are you going to let him do a puzzle?  We all know that's going to be Jennifer & Scot from here on out.  Are you going to let him go anywhere near water unless you don't have a choice?   Are you going to believe him when he claims he can do something?  Is he one of your strongest guys?   What do you KNOW that Darnell brings?

What we know...he talked a big game and failed miserably.  Peace--don't crash on the flight home

No, it hasn't.  You just play this--it is more about competition card bullshit when you don't know he actually did anything at camp.  You also ignore the fact that with Cydney, Scot & the other guy (no idea) they can't waste good on someone like Darnell so keeping the smaller Alecia gives them more food.  What did you see on the 90 minute episode that makes you believe Darnell is capable of anything?  Not what COULD be true because Alecia might be the best female swimmer there and her team won't give her a change--unlikely but possible.  So what did you see

The same applies to Alecia. What is she giving you if you keep her? What is she good at? What do we KNOW that she can bring to the table?

Will she go out for fish? Can she lift logs/trees up for the shelter? Can she start a fire?

I know exactly why I would've kept Darnell over Alecia. Like I  said, it would be a better argument if sexism was brought into it. I'll keep it real: in the situation they're in, i'm DEFINITELY keeping the supposedly the male over the girl unless she's built like Cydney or unless the male is a Brice type.

It is simple.  Alecia doesn't falsely claim she's capable of doing something she can't.

Why the hell are you keeping the weakest guy?  Just because you're scared of a girl's alliance?   It makes no sense.

Scot, weird dude, Cydney & Jennifer need to decide what is best to allow all four to stay as long as possible because they are BY FAR the best four on that team.

If Alecia would have left no one would be complaining.  It should be the same with Darnell but here we are--RACE

Plenty of girls have out preformed guys. Just look at Tasha Jenn brown, wiggles  Wentworth,  Natalie etc.

Looks like Queen Alecia's slayage is getting people mad #UNDERDOG

I'm not talking about a girls alliance thoughh nor has that ever been in my viewpoint. When I replied to what Gucci said about alliances, I meant that in general, you have to think long-term at this particular point in the game. **** a girl/guy alliance, who is more likely to help me find something to eat on this island? Who is more likely to keep me at least a little bit dry at night? Who is more likely to pick up the slack if something happened to another tribe member? People falsely claim shit ALL the time, I'm looking past that particular thing & being realistic from a team standpoint. He might not get to pick what he wants to do anymore, but i'm still picking him over her anyday.

Race has ab-so-lute-ly nothing to do with it on my side of things.
