Anyways, I thought it was hilarious how Tai was like "I love tree, they are living things." And then he proceeds to uproot the trees trying to find the idol. Haha

Those trees were dead

you're misreading it. What we are saying is the ONLY reason people are upset about Darnell losing is because he's black. Nothing about that being the reason he left. Much more old people have been voted out first than black people. Old women especially

Huh? You just basically repeated what I said & what I meant, I didn't misread anything.

I'm also saying for me, I could care less about his race/nationality/heritage whatever. Maybe the Facebook commenters do, but I'm moreso looking at it from a "who can help me out later" standpoint, especially this early in the game.

And why the **** would it even be a race issue anyways? Last Season a Black man won and a Black woman made the final 3 so why would anyone be upset that the first boot was black? I'm sorry but ya'll are reaching with this and making it into something that isn't.

That's literally the main reason people are sad he went home....

Maybe for others but not for me so don't direct that towards me.

And it has nothing to do with it on my part either. I just think Darnell would've been more of use than Alecia in the long run.

Even if it was about race, he was only 1 out of 3 (Syd & Obama). I don't know how far they'll go in the game but race has nothing to do with it.

As far as I know he wasn't gay either, at least he didn't seem like it but that doesn't matter either lmao why was that even asked? As far as the current Brawn team, he would definitely be more of an asset than Alecia. When the tribes merge into 2 teams, do whatever you want with him.

Yep. That's pretty much what I'm thinking too.

The first one was still very green. The other two not so much.

On another Note: I kinda hope that they keep them in 3 tribes until the merge.

He was just as useless as she was in the challenge, even worse considering he was the main reason they lost.  Even if Alecia does mess up next challenge which you don't know she will, then she'll be voted out and they will have the strongest team they could have had. It doesn't matter what order the weakest links go home as long as they both leave.

Opinion not fact

Well I don't believe that Danell is as weak as Alecia. He made a mistake anyone could've made. Doesn't make him weak.

Wait....did I really read someone say the only reason people are mad is because the black guy went home first over the white blonde chick?

What a stupid ******* ignorant thing to say.

he is weak. After his mistake he didn't even attempt to try it without the goggles. That's just sad.

It wasn't a mistake--not only did he falsely state, with confidence, that he could do something he couldn't but that people shouldn't question him when he said he could do it.  Darnell was absolutely weak and overconfident.  He was never going to help that team.  Alecia may not either but when you take a leadership role and you fail you must go IMO.  Darnell wanted his chance to prove he could do something--he was given the chance.

Wait....did I really read someone say the only reason people are mad is because the black guy went home first over the white blonde chick? What a stupid ******* ignorant thing to say.

Ignorant or true.  It is beyond ridiculous that anyone is upset/angry/mad/annoyed that a person who failed miserably in the first mission was sent home

Ignorant to claim it was only about race. As you just stated it was only the first challenge, and as a guy on a 6 person tribe, I would never want to give the 3 girls the opportunity to take over.

As a female, especially if I was seen as the weakest and survived the first vote, would be working my *** off to get the other girls on my side now.

I feel like sex always plays a big part in the early votes, especially with low numbers. It doesn't have to always be about race.

KVM: so just looking at the two of them physically (no challenges done, no shelter built yet, etc.), which one would you keep? Then look at who could possibly be more helpful building shelter, going to get food, etc.

Now if Alecia turns around & starts performing better than Cydney/Jennifer & starts helping out around camp then I will eat all of my words....however, I don't see that happening; yall say they were both equally bad but Darnell had a better chance of redeeming himself & becoming an asset than Alecia does IMO

Fans aren't actually playing the game.  We watched a person perform horribly after falsely claiming he could do something he couldn't.  He was voted off.  No one should be the least bit angry about it.  Just like no one should have been angry if Alecia went home.  Darnell deserved what he got.  This is absolutely about the black guy getting sent home over the white girl.  Nothing else makes sense--some just won't admit they're pissed the black guy was sent home over the blonde chick.  It is absolutely that simple.

There's no argument in the world against Darnell leaving.  He deserved it.  Someone may think Alecia was also deserving but that's irrelevant.  Darnell deserved it.  Simple.  Race

that's not happening with the brawn tribe. Cydney hates her and Jennifer said in her interview she hates working with women.

I'm keeping the person that didn't lie and say they could do something they couldn't.

I saw nothing from Darnell to suggest he was helpful around camp--clearly those 4 that are leading the team didn't either.

Alecia doesn't have to perform better than Jennifer or Cydney.  She just has to perform better than Darnell did in the first mission--bar set very, very low.  No one voted off Jennifer or Cydney to keep her.

I never said they were equally as bad--Darnell was worse in the mission--there's no disputing that

Who are these fans that are outraged? It seems like you're trying to lump people on this site with the average person you'd find in Facebook comments or something.

EDIT: "site" lol

Exactly. You have to think about much more than just "he messed up in this one challenge". It's an entire range of things that you have to take into account when playing Survivor.

To be fair, we haven't really seen what she can do, we know she is bad at puzzles but you never know if she's a great swimmer. She has actually been snorkeling before so she would have known to hold the mask.

Where did I use the phrase outraged?  Your side has yet to make a valid argument.  You believe he could have been more helpful at camp or in future missions--we saw none of that and the people there DISAGREED

Read what I said "the opportunity", "if I was seen as the weakest".

I didn't say it WOULD happen, but you have to weigh out every possible scenario in your head this early in the game.

This doesn't make sense--so guys should vote off girls and the girls should vote of girls because...what?

Anyone that thinks Jennifer & Cydney are going to run with women haven't listened to them for 5 seconds yet

Opportunity????????????

Why would Cyndey and Jennifer keep Darnell then?   Why the hell would anyone keep anyone?  You're making up shit because you don't have an argument.

Why are you saying they didn't weight this things?  What guys in their right mind is scared that Jennifer and Cydney are going to work with Alecia?  What guy?  Not one with a brain

The day Cydney and Jennifer form an alliance with Alecia you come back and let us know--you know that's a ridiculous claim.  A desperate claim

DARNELL DESERVED TO GO.  It would have been 5-1 but they were worried he had an idol

It was enough for Kyle (who was originally all for Darnell from the start) to then change his vote to Alecia. Darnell (and somewhat Cydney) did a good enough job of convincing another male on the team (who obviously started to think long-term but then faltered) to keep him just off the strength of who would be better just around camp, for their actual survival on the beach.

Alecia better perform better than the other 2 girls if she wants to stay; Darnell is no longer there to be the scapegoat. She's most likely the next to go if they do lose again, which would be a shame because they could've gotten rid of her from the start.
