I really like Abe, but what's the backstory on him? His brother seems great, they get along well, and I heard their mother is nice too, but Abe seems like he had some kind of traumatic event as a kid or something. Wasn't he actually a cutter at one point, and really emotionally damaged? [/quote
Abram is so sweet about the Cara situation on Twitter. He said he hopes all the fans support Cara Maria and that this was all his fault. Wonder what happened prior to the challenge.Looks like he will be visiting his other ex Coral too.
It's really hard for me to believe that these two not only are related, but grew up in the same household. I understand that we are all unique snowflakes and our personalities differ. The thing is, Michael is polite, has good manners and seems to be a generally stable and well-adjusted person. Abram, on the other hand, seems to have been raised by monkeys. What's the backstory there? Did he get lost as a todler and spend a few years in the Montana forrest before being reunited with his family?
That interview they posted on their Twitter recently showed what seemed to be the normal every day side of abram. I'd say I'm a pretty normal dude with 4 siblings for the most part but have some crazy moments/stories. We're all very different. His crazy moments are just highlighted out there for the world to see. I'm sure Michael has pooped the bed so to speak (that's a saying right?) but they weren't showcased like Abrams.
I know, that is what I mean! If memory serves me, Abe was on Road rules, correct? And he was battling many personal demons at the time. What was going on? He seems like damaged goods in many ways- hence his attraction to Cara Maria. What happened to Abe that missed his seemingly normal brother?!
The more I think about it, the more Mike's rant towards Vince & Mitch ****** me off. First off, no one should want to go into elimination. I can see how repeated **** -ups would make you the most noticeable candidate, but let the team ******* vote them in. Just because Mike doesn't care about being there & wouldn't mind going home, doesn't mean everyone should have that attitude. Secondly, **** him & Abe for coming on only to leave shortly after. If you have work committments, leave that spot open for someone else who actually wants to win. I like Mike, but **** him for throwing the elimination & giving those ******** jamie & cara maria an automatic win. I wish Banas had gone into the pit in his place, that way cara's cheating ***** *** would be gone.
Just watched RR South Pacific, Abe vs. Donnell. I friggin love Abe so much. Donnell is such a damn shmuck, but a great casting choice. He and Cara were such *** holes on that season it't ridiculous.

I disagree with almost all of this (and the majority of your posts in general now that I think about it). While no one should want to go into an elimination, it does show how cowardly Vince is, since he received the first vote and then tried to backpedal his way out ("you said you'd go in every time, right?") After watching that, I felt that Mike morally owned Vince, even if he didn't last as long on the show. As a man, I lost a lot of respect for Vince, or at least the little respect I had remaining for him at the time. I'll give Mitch a p*** since he was both better at the missions than Vince, and had already seen an elimination.
Second, Abram/Mike were alternates, meaning that they were on the list of people to go on the show should a team get DQ'ed/injured. I don't think we know if there were other teams (especially since 2 teams went home but only 1 team was brought in), so my guess is that Abram/Mike were not holding anyone else's spot. Also, are we sure it was a work commitment? I knew that Mike was getting frustrated being there, and Abe/Mike solely went on the show to help Cara Maria win. Plus Abe was probably the best thing to happen to the show, since the only other people worth watching were Bananas and Cara Maria. If Abram never came on the show, this season might be the worst of all time. (Even with Abram it's still near the bottom) Abram/Mike came on the show, said what they had to say, did what they had to did, and left like rockstars.

So Vince is supposed to roll over and volunteer to go in becuase its morally the right thing to do? No it's a game I would have done the same thing or said anything to keep my name out of the elimination. Abe's speech was annoying too because no one should have to volunteer if they don't want to especially because someone outside of his alliance said so.

No. I'm not saying that Vince and Mitch should have volunteered to go in. I'm saying that I respect Mike/Abram for not being ******* and for not being afraid of going in (even if I wish they wouldn't volunteer because I don't want them to go home). I think it is perfectly normal to not want to go into an elimination, just be a ****** man about it.
However, what separates Mitch and Vince for me (as in why I respect Mitch but not Vince) is that Mitch kept his mouth shut, while Vince cowered once his name (rightfully) came up and tried to bully/force Mike to volunteer again. I felt that Vince lost his man card based on how he handled it. He told Mike "you're going in, right? You said you were going to go in every time" and then when Mike responded, Vince said "I have nothing to prove to you" which ironically proves that Vince has nothing. What hurts more is that Vince did all that damage to his manhood and still didn't win. It's to the point where I hate Vince and I still feel bad for him. Kind of like when guys hurt when they watch another guy get kicked in the balls.
While I don't think that Abram should be the one saying some of the things he does, I think that he is usually correct and it is refreshing to see some of those things said. Some of the people who have been tainted by the challenges should hear that once in a while.

I see nothing wrong with what Vince did. He basically manipulated Mike to go in because he didn't want to (even though we later found out Mike threw it anyway). I would understand if it was a fair team system and they were all actually in an alliance together and they said Vince you should go in because you have been doing poorly but it wasn't. The opposite alliance is telling him he should go in and he stands up for himself and wiggles his way out of it. If he would have stayed shut people would have listened to Mike and keep voting Vince in but because he "forced/bullied" Mike to go in he was safe. Sounds like a safe bet for me.

Uh huh. Im sure you'd be stepping up for elimination every time if you were the weakest link there. Fyi... the majority of your posts are so boring & uninteresting they're not worth the time to read. So keep on reading mine & disagreeing, kid.

I'm happy with being boring and uninteresting. That means that I'm not the dumbest one here nor the biggest **** here because I'm not important enough to remember. I'll take it. Similarly, while I read stupid posts on here all the time, I'm usually too lazy to respond, so it takes a lot for me to think it's worth the time to respond, and prepare for a series of responses. In addition, the only usernames I tend to remember are either people I like, or people that say stupid things so often that I end up remembering their name because of it.
It's almost as if we have polar opposite opinions on everything. Which is fine I guess, a little diversity is nice. I mean this site wouldn't be as much fun if everyone agreed on everything, right? It's just interesting that for everyone I like, you seemingly don't, and for everyone I dislike, you seemingly like.

And that's fine. Vince has every right to do what he did. I'm sure that Vince has absolutely no qualms about looking like a ***** on TV in order to possibly win money. And when your best asset clearly is not your success at missions, then you have to learn to be good at politics or else you're going home early. I understand that Vince is playing Vince's game and doing what Vince needs to do to survive. I'm just saying that I think he's a coward and a ***** and I don't respect him. But obviously Vince doesn't care that I think he's a total *****, nor should he.
I am confused by why everyone keeps stating Mike "threw the elimination". I understand it may have been discussed on the reunion, but in all reality Mike had zero chance of being even slightly competitive against Zach in that elimination.

Keep in mind that Mike didn't have to beat Zach to win, he just had to be better against Zach than Jamie was against CT. And Jamie also got swept against CT, and it looked like Mike ate up a fair amount of time against Zach, so Mike looked good to get the tiebreaker. I'm not going to argue that had Mike not thrown the elimination that he would have won anyway, but it definitely looked possible.
Did anyone see on the sh they should have shown when everyone was freaking out about a bug on the floor, and Abram just walked over, stopped to pick it up and eat it and then nonchalantly sat down? lmao. It's moments like that that make me love Abram.

because Mike had to leave for work which is why he went in against Jamie since they would rather "lose" to Cara and Jamie. People say Jamie did horrible on the challenge to the point Mike had to try real hard. Cara told Jenna to put in Jamie vs Mike. Instead of vince
To think this show may have been without these two... tragic. Abe saved this season and Its so weird that he was alternative, like everybody wants to see him before AYTO.
Abram did not even look like he has trained that much lately and he still smoked most of the dudes. Shows how much of a natural competitor he is if you ask me
