Does the twist actually make sense ? Or is it just for show ?

Let's just say it was better than the Drag Me To Hell *** twist The Forest went with.

Drag Me To Hell is a great movie....

I agree I'm just saying that TF could've did something on their own.

You're good no worries.

Has anybody here seen Straw Dogs 2011 or the one from 1972? I haven't seen the newer one and I totally forgot it even existed until I just seen that new James Mardsten "car" commercial. Please tell me its worth ordering....

not worth paying for... but worth streaming for free

That's whats up. I just might do the later as in streaming lol.

Also I don't know if its completely completely accurate but it looks like Victor Salva will indeed direct Jeepers Creepers 3. No idea if they are still considering the Cathedral (part of the script though).

Also, Halloween Returns is dead and gone. The rights are up in the air so no new movie as of right now.

sounds like a hella hella good movie. I wanna see this. Even though Brianna Evigan aka Step Up and Sorority Row can't act for shit.

Just saw The 5th Wave and it was all kinds of tragic.  It was so cliched and the whole "twist" at the end couldn't have been more predictable. Don't waste your money.

This is what happens when you try to make EVERY book a movie.

Anyone see the movie or trailer for Green Room?? It looks super intense & ****** up lol. I will be definitely checking this out in April since it got such good reviews.

I'm still tryna see the boy and the forest. Smh

I saw the Boy which I thought was alright thanks to the twist ending. Haven't seen the Forest yet, but heard it wasn't very good. I love horror movies, so I always try to watch as many as I can.

Yeah The Forest was good for Japanese culture and all but it was blah. They could've been more original with it. TF was very promising but didn't deliver. *waits patiently as when it comes out on DVD I'll ask for a sequel*

I just now picked up Straight Outta Compton.

Has anyone seen the movie Dope? All I know about it its supposed to be a black version of a coming-of-age film.

Hell yes!!! I want to see that so bad!!! It was my back up horror movie at TIFF if I didn't end up getting tickets to the Witch... it looks amazing!!

In other news, Saw 8/Saw: Legacy is definitely a go-ahead right now... looks like the series might finally make its return after 6-7 years. I don't completely hate this because I loved the Saw movies personally (1, 2, 4, & 6)... I love movies that can do some pretty fascinating storytelling while being completely disgusting and so twisted. I live for the twist endings of every saw movie. It's definitely not everyones cup of tea, and the last one was completely terrible, but i'm actually quite looking forward to this. At least it's not a reboot and its actually a sequel!!

Yeah I knew about Saw 8 for a hot minute but they suck so I can't really say I'm looking forward to it. Plus I hated Gordon's return.

I need togo ahead and pick it up then. I missed it in theaters though

lol please they don't "suck". They aren't everyone's cuppa but they are very smart plot driven movies... they don't hit the restart button after every film (ie every slasher film series ever). I like that it's like the one series where you have to have been watching from the beginning to understand anything that is going on in each sequel. They really come together in an awesome way... that's why I like the movies. The traps and the gore are just bonus material Blum 3

i left out 4-7 but yeah I am a big fan of part 1-3. they were epic back then and I wish that indian doctor lived

Another reason why they started getting tired is they would do two games(or simultaneously) at the same time just so they could make money (in RL) I ahted that

And I love me some slasher movies. Don't be hating on the virgin archetypes, lmao Except Shredder.  that movie there....good cast but poor dialogue and execution.

But yeah with Saw 8 I can't see how they'll be original. And you're right about reboots but I lowkey want a new ANOES and I haven't heard anything else ablout F13 other than the CW show and Halloween is not happening until the rights are bought again.

If it wasn't for my friend, I wouldn't have known about the movie. They really didn't promote it, or I was just oblvivious to it.

I also think the new Saw movie will be interesting & look forward to finding out what happens next in this story.

Was the Witch worth seeing or nah? It looks creepy & everything, but I don't know if it will live up to the hype. I think you would have had more fun seeing Green Room lol. Wish you would have, so I could have got your take on the movie.

I know I hated the promotion. I hate how the good movies have that black banner on top of the televison preview they do with the release date. I lowkey think thats why Scream 4 and FD5 bombed.

hahaha i really wish i picked the green room... but the witch had so much hype and it looked amazing (well it was pretty good!)... i was a little let down by the hype but I still think it was a very well made movie and has a perfect setting and creepy atmosphere for a witch movie. The dialogue is the hardest part because its early modern english and very hard to understand haha but it's still pretty good. Not jumpy at all (maybe 3 jumps in the whole movie)... its a slow burner for sure and the ending is pretty epic. I think The Green Room will be more entertaining for sure... I can see a lot of viewers being let down with The Witch since it is constantly being referred to as one the scariest movies of the year (and because they are doing an amazing job with the trailers for it)

I'm still tryna see the boy and the forest. Smh

Don't waste your time on the forest, It's garbage. Ughh I get disgusted everytime I think about it.

If only Saw was a trilogy...tsk tsk tskThe makers of the franchise were beyond money hungry to the point that they ruined what could of been an EPIC trilogy (had the movies ended at 3). Honestly whatever storytelling that has been done was ruined and turned to complete shit ESPECIALLY after Saw 7, that movie was a punch to the throat to any remaining supporter and fan of the franchise, like wtf were they thinking ughhhh !!!! And no I'm not interested in saw 8 and no one should be since it's clear that this is just another easy cash grab for them and I see right through it, I mean wasn't saw 7 supposed to be "the final act" HA I guess not anymore.

PAUSE. Number 1: what do you people have against Dr. Gordon? That shit was money! Loved it.

And I think they did so many because look at all the big names of Horror: Freddy Krueger, Jason Vorhees, Michael Myers. All had like 7-10 movies. Now when you think about horror movies it's those 3 plus Jigsaw. Those movies were phenomenal.

Well what other horror franchise does lionsgate really got going for them besideds Saw lol?? I really wanted them to do an actual sequel to The Blair Witch Project, but they shut that down even know both directors from the original movie were willing to come back.

S4 had bad promotion? I didn't realize that. I knew it was awesome and didn't know why it had a bad showing, but now I know why. Maybe it was because I was excited about it ever scince I heard they were in pre-production that I kept my eye on it. lol.

I think FD4 had something to do with FD5 bombing though. I personally didn't care for the story (was in it for the deaths), but other said it sucked, so maybe it lost fans?
