The Challenge: Bloodlines - Out for Blood

There has to be a reason virtually every other castmember hates Cara Maria. I'm not falling for no edit.

I love how the eliminations this season are equalizers and unpredictable.

Plus...can we all acknowledge how had Jenna/Brianna went into the pit, they would've most likely beat Cara/Jamie in a puzzle...considering they completed the puzzle in the challenge faster than them...

Good riddance Johnny Bananas! I tought he was about to pull a fast one and skate into the Finals AGAIN!

How can people say Cory's surgery 2-3 months before the challenge wouldn't impact his endurance? He wouldn't have been able to train after the surgery until the doctor cleared him and then he wouldn't be physically where he was before the surgery. When I was in college, I used to jog 8 miles a day. Every day, rain or shine. Then I had foot surgery (injury playing basketball) and was told I couldn't jog for 6 weeks. The first time I tried jogging again, I had to stop after mile 2. It took me some time to get back up to 8. And that was just a relatively minor foot surgery. I know people who've torn an ACL who weren't cleared to jog until 2-3 months after surgery.

Yeah but having a bad knee has nothing to do with how good your endurance is lol. Nice excuse though you can't really think him puking because he was ******* gassed out had anything to do with his knee injury.

It still takes more out of you than it would with a healthy knee. With a leg injury you have to exert more energy just to keep your balance and put weight on it. I had a pressure fracture in my leg and I started breathing heavy after walking over 2 km. I'm not saying Cory has good endurance but having a knee injury definitely plays a role in how well you do in endurance based stuff.

I was really happy with the outcome of this episode though. I don't think I've ever been this happy about an elimination outcome for a long time.

Jan 31st 2014 he was getting ready to have surgery on his acl according to his tweet on that date.  DId he have another since than? What cory said on the show was he had "no" acl from the surgery, which i dont think that's even correct becuase i saw he was getting crap form sports fans that is not the case it was repaired after being torn.

April 2014 he said he was 2.5 months out of surgery and already can begin running. it's on his twitter and instagram.

So if that is true and that was the only time he had it, he had plenty of time to build endurance up,  so it is not a real excuse. He just meant his leg was sore from the mission in the ACL area, which if you are gasssed completely and had surgery, there will be soreness/pain even if over a year ago. But that's not why he had bad endurance

havent watched the episode yet but why are people saying jenna and bri did amazing? what did they do? i thought aneesa was killing the endurance part from the preview. did jenna/bri end up passing aneesa later on because they outran her or beacuse of rihanna's lack of conditioing?

I think he has had multiple surgeries. He did have one Jan 2014, but per his twitter he had another one in October 2014. Idk if he had any after that.

any idea waht that one in oct was for like i think his only major surgery was the acl in early 2014, the rest coudl have been minor stuff to knee/leg for swelling etc. but i don't know that for a fact. But if he had 2 major acl tears that's big trouble for him.

I could see him maybe having minor surgery 3 months before and still being fine, working out the same, etc. It depends. but still not an excuse for his ****** endurance, it never factored in any of the other roles with jumping etc . Lots of question marks with these people in a final though since a final is that plus harder factors as well like longer distance, in snow, etc. these people (most) would never make it to day 2 on some of the finals that have happened.

I think it was something with his femur. He has a picture on IG dated December 2014 showing his right femur being shorter due to breaking his growth plate. Was the ACL also on his right leg?

I think he just had it done not due to an injury(current injury) but as preventative thing to even out the femur length a doctor probably recommended he do it due to possible harm in future or just gave him pro/cons and he opted to have it. I know people who have similar conditions but opted not to have it. It's not necessarily a MUST more like do you want them to be even or deal with it not.  It was from an old injury why the length's were off,He had to wait for the bone to grow and get even, than 2015 he coudl start moving on it and get back on his feet.  But it wasn't anything like coming back from an acl with physical therapy and worrying about blowing leg out again. Challenge was like early summer? Hopefully he is better off now that he had it though and can continue progressing .

It may have had a little impact on his ability to train beforehand, but i dont think it caused him to be throwing up and completely gassed during the mini final. Still better effort than vince though haha. I like cory too i hope he is a regular now, but still disappointed if he already has a major flaw. If this is a reoccuring thing i mean anytime he does a final he may always feel pain in it since it's extreme exertion on it during a final since it's so much endurance. it's how he copes with it during it that matters.

havent watched the episode yet but why are people saying jenna and bri did amazing? what did they do? i thought aneesa was killing the endurance part from the preview. did jenna/bri end up passing aneesa later on because they outran her or beacuse of rihanna's lack of conditioing?

Rihanna couldn't do the monkey bars. She kept falling off & most the teams ended up passing them. It was a pathetic performance lol.

Trust me I have had knee injuries when I played football & it has nothing to do with your endurance level. You either train hard & have good endurance or you don't. Now I could see if he hurt it on the exact mission where he would have trouble going up the hills with that heavy bag because your knee would swell & you would lose balance.  But he already had the surgery done before the show & was completely fine on all the other missions. So it definitely sounds like an excuse for him gassing out in the mini final.

They actually did well in this mini-final. i think they did bad on one checkpoint, but they performed good nonetheless.

so they basically just beat aneesa? not even aneesa but rather rihanna

boys were taken out of the equation because they had different weight

im sure they did fine but its hard to gauge when your only real competition is aneesa being stymied by rihanna

this time jenna isnt being tested against the likes of nia, sarah, theresa like she was last year so naturally she'll look good considering she has no point of reference to be compared to

I'm so tired of the facebook fans saying ___ doesn't deserve to win because they haven't seen an elimination! Did they say that about CT in Rivals 2? I'll wait..

I think it's all situational. Sometimes they deserve it soemtimes they don't. i don't think if you are soo terrible they keep you becuase you are a layup in a final you deserve a final. It makes it a lot worse to watch and competition is way less. but if you have a good gameplan, excecute it, and avoid eliminations, i dont think you don't deserve it. If you always get a great partner and never go in, after a while it gets annoying, but like i said it literally all depends on those factors. Why you didn't go in, is it becuase of fear of you, or you are so bad they keep you around, or just good politics?

honestly i dont think devin was good at politics, saying i am so bad in finals you should keep me isn't  good politics, it's the truth. she is 0 threat. She is just stating the obvious, and handing the final to someone else. Good politics for her would be if she actually was a threat, but convinced them all to let her slide and than actually being a threat in the finals. My point is she doesn't have to convince anyone, they all can see she is a freebie in finals so even if she doesnt say it, theyw ill probably let her skate. it's hard to explain...but like jenna now, if she convinced people after doing well this season to keep her around, that's smart becuase she legit is a threat now in a final. She showed good endurance, she is tougher than we thought, and if it's a puzzle well she and many others are in trouble. But if she can convince people she is not at theat and skate by, that would be impressive. Not saying she can win a final alone, btu seh can compete for one, unlike devin.

Aneesa was ready for this final.

this was certainly her best shot because of how weak the finalists are

I'm so tired of the facebook fans saying ___ doesn't deserve to win because they haven't seen an elimination! Did they say that about CT in Rivals 2? I'll wait..

it depends with rivals CT and Wes proved in past seasons how good they are so imo they don't need an elimination to prove themselves. Same with people like Cara, bananas. However other vets they don't preform as well like many, camilia, Jenna people like that deserve to go in elimination because they have yet to prove they are super good in all elimination types. Even diem I mean she won a single elimination so she deserved to go in. Annessa yes she is a elimination beast but lately hasn't been so she needs to prove herself

V123, Jenna/Brianna were like 4th (Cory/Mitch behind them) at the beginning with the bags but once they got to the first checkpoint (rope and balance beam) they bumped up to 2nd place then they got to the monkey bars and passed Aneesa/Rianna. Then they got to the puzzle. They're the first ones to get to the top of the mountain so that has to say something. Plus they solved the puzzle 2nd.

They did pretty awesome. Killed all the checkpoints and didn't gas out.

i thought Cory support Jenna on this season. Cause they are from one RW.

And it's surprised me, when he wanted to choose between Jenna and Bananas.

But no matter what...Mitch and Cory did the great move today. Finally. Someone.

I think he was always going to choose Bananas lol. I don't think he really ever considered Jenna.

Jenna/Cory still seem close

I don't think Cory and Jenna are that close. I'm pretty sure he voted her in every time and she did the same to him lol.

My thoughts:

I know Blue will cream himself, but I think Plank/Brianna did GOOD in this mission!!11 *gasp* *earthquakes happen all over the planet* *the world ends*.....still useless as **** though.

Rianna - I like her & I do feel like she's gotten the shaft from editing, but really? Really?  Monkey bars of all things?

Aneesa - KILLED this shit & she might've still gotten stuck on the puzzle, but otherwise A1 perormance. She showed everybody that the Duel 2 will NOT happen again whenever she reaches another final...now the hard part for her is to actually get there lmao

Cory/Mitch - Mitch is clutch as ****! All of the teams had trouble with this mission so I can't hold it against Cory, plus before this Challenge he had been out for a whie due to his surgeries so he really couldn't work on his endurance like he wanted to anyway. Glad they won & made the smart decision. Also, Cory will WRECK John's shit & all the fanboys can stop with the salt.

Cara Maria/Jamie - I lean a lot more towards liking them, but I just always never have a real opinion on Cara Maria...she's just forever "there" to me. Jamie has his moments but he is nowhere near as bad personality wise as some other dudes have been on this show.

The other two - since gifs don't work anymore for whatever reason, the perfect one to describe them is the New York gif where she's arguing with Bootz & she throws her foot up whie saying her name lmaoooo good riddance.

OMG @ all of you knockin' Rianna for not being able to cross monkey bars. Have you tried monkey bars lately? You're much larger than you were as a kid so if you haven't been working on building up your upper body strength, you would fail too. I know this from personal experience because I would totally fail on monkey bars...LOL

in my opinion if you perform well and win daily missions you deserve a final even if you don't see an elimination. CT and Wes were never sent in on rivals 2 because no one wanted to face CT in an elimination. that's a different situation. but if you win a lot of daily missions you absolutely deserve the final. you're not supposed to want to go to elimination

Do you guys think it was fair for women to carry 45 lbs and men 75 lbs? OR do you think they should've made people carry a certain % of their own body weight?

It should be a percentage of their own body weight. I've always thought that when they do weighted challenges. Like in Exes 2 it wasn't fair that Jay, Johnny R, etc. had to lift the same amount as Zach. Percentage of body weight is what they do on survivor and it makes the most sense. It's not like one team has a lighter bag or heavier bag to carry if you do it by body weight since they have a different amount of weight helping them.

I don't think Cory and Jenna are that close. I'm pretty sure he voted her in every time and she did the same to him lol.

Yup! I was expecting them to work together this season since Cory was a rookie, Jenna still a newbie, and they know each other from being on the same season but it was the opposite. They went against each other almost every time. Same with her and Thomas for the most part
