I feel like since there are so many new people you need to give them another chance like its hard to prove yourself when you have so many new people and vets that need attention like I'm not even talking about rookie season after RW but first show in general. Also he is a favorite among actual people there so there much be more to him then what is shown
Is he an actual favorite? In terms of show fans or cast members?
A photo after Jenna & Brianna get voted into the elimination round.
After last week's barnburner of an episode featuring unveiling of secret relationships, psychopath boyfriends and a healthy debate of whether the self-proclaimed "victim" could also be the abuser in the relationship, I think we all needed to cool down. That's what this episode was, a cool down before we get into any more final twists and final missions.
Kelly Anne can't be trusted, nor Bananas -- everyone's expendable
The episode starts of with Bananas, Vinny, Anthony and crazy aunt Kelly Anne plotting with the red team to throw the mission today so Kelly Anne doesn't get thrown in and there's an opportunity to toss Cara Maria in the game.
The alliance between Bananas/Vinny and Anthony should pretty much be named "It's come to this", because Anthony has to be like the third tier string of Bananas' alliance in the game. He didn't save Camila from being thrown in, he didn't save Nany from being thrown in, and somehow he got the entire game to avoid voting in his cousin to keep him around for another week. Anthony is just around for the numbers, and it's hilarious that he doesn't see it. It's even funnier that Anthony believes that he's going to stick around until the end of the game with a partner that absolutely no one in the game trusts.
Wait, that was it?
So. Since the trailer for this season has aired, they've let us know that at some point CT will be showing up in the show with Diem's little sister Faith as his bloodline partner. There were promos with action music in the background and video package thrillers hinting this. Fans who aren't necessarily smart to the game like us didn't know what role they were going to play in the game. With all the twists, would they be inserted into the game? Would they be brought in as hitmen similar to Cutthroat? No one knew. Well, it was kind of disappointing to know that they would only be demo'ing the day's Challenge and then they would kind of ride off into the sunset.
I don't want to downplay this sentimental moment because obviously it meant a lot to everyone there. It's great that BMP still want to pay tribute to Diem Brown (and later Ryan Knight, which is what I assume Zach's purpose is) considering she was arguably one of the biggest female stars in the franchise. But I would've liked their appearance to have a bit more impact on the game. In a game where literally whether you win or lose seems to mean nothing. SOMETHING to add some weight to the show.
With that said, the experience of being on a Challenge is once in a lifetime and while Diem isn't here to share it with her sister -- at least Faith will know what it's like for once. Maybe she'll be able to qualify for future shows? Who knows.
The Challenge itself... *Face palm*
As for The Challenge itself, not that impressive. I'm not sure of Vinny realizes that he doesn't have enough arm strength for him to swing across things like Tarzan, but I kind of admire him trying. Jenna, who is no physical wonder woman, manages to pull off a good performance but still kind of fails.
The Red Team, who not only has the better competitors but has seen two sets of teams play the game, kind of fly through this game with ease. Anthony gets peer pressured into attempting to save himself and while he tried his best to throw the game, I think the jeers from his teammates pressured him into dropping earlier than he should have.
The plan backfires and the Red Team wins because The Blue Team fails at life.
Jamie's about to snap
There's a recurring theme with rookies who are pretty well off in their normal lives and now are 3-4 weeks into living in a house with nutcases. They tend to go completely off because they want to go back home, and that's essentially what goes on with Jamie. Jamie's fed up with Kelly Anne because Kelly Anne's annoying, and he's tired of biting his tongue. Even towards the end of the show he's talking about confronting Bananas and Vinny and getting them out of the game. I'm glad to see him showing a personality because I could see him being someone people get behind in future shows.
Welcome to The Challenge, Jenna
All of Jenna's friends have gone home. There's no one on the show that she can trust. Then, she has to look across the table at creepy uncle Vinny who's throwing her in because she didn't complete a Challenge and she says "**** it". This is the most fed up I've seen Jenna since the guy she used to bang refused to drink the gross stuff on the final Challenge last season.
I used to think that Jenna has peanut butter on the roof of her brain, but she's proving to me that not only can she compete if she wants to, but she's not with the bullshit in the house. Go Jenna & Brianna!
Well thanks for ruining the show AGAIN, Vinny
Faith and CT are mingling with the competitors, especially with Bananas and CT sharing their first official bromance moment of the show where they realize that they're veterans who are in it together and who both loved Diem. Then Vinny tries to get called back for Rivals 3 and pokes CT, while he's drunk and they kind of just leave. JUST GREAT, THE ONE GREAT MOMENT OF THE SHOW AND VINNY RUINS IT.
The Drunk & Stack Game
TJ should've said "Imagine that you got shitfaced drunk and you had to stack some shit on another? Welcome to your elimination." Everything about this elimination round felt underwhelming, especially the lack of physicality. I know that they like to save the bloodshed for the last elimination round, but nothing wants me to watch Kelly Anne run down the sand like 11-month baby.
Jenna wins, because she doesn't feel any pressure going into any elimination. She doesn't get into her own head. She just kind of does it. I'm completely 180 on Jenna since the last season, good for her. Kelly Anne's talking about she's freaking out because there are big blocks and small blocks. *****, JUST STACK THE BLOCKS. Idiot.
It was good to see Kelly Anne back on the show this season, hopefully she gets better at the game next time she's on.
I'm a big Jenna fan, and when I flew back home for the holidays, as watching this with my mother, she was just straight insulting her every confessional. Jenna plays up the role of the dumb blonde, and she might actually be as dumb as she acts, but she wins, and it's amazing to watch. She might not be the smartest person in the house but she has heart and she's really sweet, how can you not root for that. Watching the "athletes" ***** about the elimination round being ridiculous was funny. Walk away, just walk away.
wow that was really a smart play by jenna! i really enjoyed KA this season but i wonder how KA thinks cara/jamie screwed them though? by doing good in the challenge? by voting KA in elimination?..i mean they weren't the only people voting, i dont get that. ..if anything KA/Anthony were the one trying to screw Cara/Jamie it just failed and backfired... still like KA though, hope she continues to do more!
I thought that from the beginning. Bananas was trying hard to not have kelly anne go into an elimination... people will say that he did it for cara maria but lets be real I don't think Bananas thought those girls could beat cara I think he really wanted anthony to stay.
On the Jenna note: I agree that's a pretty smart move by jenna and I love how she pulled it off too.
He said he thought he was done until he hard Faith was going to be on the show. He never said he is definitely done with the show, but it would not suprise me if he was
Wouldn't surprise me if they tried to use Faith to bring CT back. I tink that would sell. But even without CT, I'd like to see Faith return. Having her on one episode (even if just for a tribute) might be an "excuse" to bring her back. Assuming she was interested of course.

To me it seemed like he may come back. He will get the itch. I Mean he said it was a sign from Diem to go and show up at the challenge so we will see. I don't seem faith coming back though. I just feel like it isn't really her thing.
In terms of Cast Members.
Irrelevant lol
Since the BLood brother thread is locked. He is the aftershow from last week. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tg5wK9-LPMw
Purple Rianna got a confessional this episode?
The underwater box Challenge for next week looks sick! I think the 3 upcoming Missions will be a step up!
Anthony >>>> than those wastes jenna /brianna
Hopefully! The missions so far have been lame and they are my favorite part!
LOL
Agreed!
Truth.
Jenna actually showed a glimpse of a personality this episode. Just a glimpse.
Jenna/Brianna > Anthony who only got screen time so the audience knew who he was when he left.
PURPLE RIANNA OMG
She actually looked really good in her interview. She's pretty funny on Twitter. JUST GIVE HER A CHANCE TO NARRATE, C'MON

Jenna is SUCH a ******* queen!!!!!
Smart play by jenna!!
Fun fact: Jenna commented on this picture and both her and KA had to chug a glass of milk before spinning. Dear lord, how did they not throw up?

Never like seeing thrown challenges -- no matter who does them.
