i LOVE that movie haha so underrated... JJ totally tuned into that classic Spielberg style from the 80s... it felt like a mix between The Goonies and ET. The children in the cast were great!!! They need to make more movies like this imo

Right, I loved the cast!!! They actually looked kids too haha the chemistry between Joel Courtney and Elle Fanning was great to watch. I remember watching this when it first came out a few summers ago and it felt so nostalgic! It's cool how JJ based this movie on him and his friends when they used to make Super 8 films during their childhood. We definitely need more movies like this!
