Watched the Finale I didn't thik it was the great compared to previous years. LIke the pit stop was basically at the final task. And they both didn't need to do an individual task only one person did which it wasn't hard. I didn't think any of the tasks were difficult.
Agreed. Very boring and lackluster finale. The season as a whole was pretty boring. I think I completely lost my interest for the show, especially with next season being vine/youtube stars.
I actually thought the final was really good task wise compared to the rest of the season. I can't recall when they had so many tasks in a final leg.
They had the flashy task, which contained a memory task.
The physical task, which also contained a memory task.
The skill-based task, also with a memory task.
So they basically had 6 tasks. 5 of which allowed the order to be mixed up. I'd say that's pretty good.
Not like season 24 where it was like: Flashy task, screw on the lightbulbs, parachute to the pitstop
my biggest thing was they both didn't need to complete road blocks. And the memory ones werent hard even though it was 2. Everyone on the show studies basically the whole plane ride to the us before the final (obviously not paparazzi ) so I like the ones that make it harder, like when they had to go in that ball pit and search for the countries on a global ball. Or when they had the container yard and they needed to search based on the numbers . It makes the memory ones harder especially now that people study and take notes way more then before. Even the hello and goodbye flags in order of countries were a good one. They should ultimately stop letting the teams take notes overall but hey I am not a producer

That was hands down the best task ever on TAR imo.
I mean, they could try, but the cameras are not on the teams 24/7 (pitstops) so I don't think you could prevent taking notes. But I did appreciate the fact that at least on the second memory task the clue explicitly stated that you are not allowed to use notes for this.

I'm kinda bummed Justin and Dianna didn't win. I think they were more deserving of the price compared to Joey and Kelsey.
TAR is just too much chance. Like you go from being first place 5 times to losing the last leg over a cab. Like kinda annoying, but it's the game I guess.
I think the final task every season should be the hay bales roadblock.
I thought this season was just ok. Justin and Dianne dominated and it's too bad they lost because of a cab. I've already written off next season as a total loss and probably the final season of the show.

Bahahaha OMG the hay bails!!! If I had to do that task I would die like I am so not patient. I will always remember when the globteotters got it on like the 2nd or 3rd try. (At least I believe it was them, during all stars)
They need to do a second chance with people they got ultimately screwed. They can have the rockers who had their cab driver steal their passports in Russia, Jeff and Jordan who had there cab driver almost get taken away and killed by their cab driver in the middle of nowhere, and then the Clark county guys who were suppose to be on all stars but then one of them got a pantisitis or whatever the day before the race started so he couldn't compete

That is one of my favorite things about the show... as long as you aren't eliminated you have a chance, and frankly I found Justin unbearably arrogant, annoying as hell and the biggest drama queen ever (yes, including Rachel Rielly)... you know the song Smile (Lily Allen) that's how I feel about him... when I see you cry, I go ahead and smile...
I am soooo happy that they didn't win except that it means at some point he will be back to try again because as he said...he will never get over it (gag)

During their original season, 15. Sorry, OCD.

THIS. all of it
Yea, we get it you're a huge fan of TAR but he made it seem like the experience was worth nothing and all it mattered was the million. I'm happy he didn't win just because of the temper tantrum in the end. I can't handle sore losers.
Justin & Rachel would be a perfect obnoxious cry baby couple. I feel bad for Diana, I kinda liked her but he was just unbearable. I hate how he acted, you won 7 legs and a bunch f prizes, you'd think a huge fan of the show would love the whole experience but no its just tears. My favorite thing about them losing was that he was so confident because he lived in new York for 20 years.

Has anyone watched the Canadian and Asian versions of the Amazing Race? I watched them a few months back and thought they were pretty good. If you like the amazing race for going around the world, then you probably won't like it since they stay in that region with the exception of a few seasons.

TAR: Canada has produced some of the best seasons imo. Their tasks are really well built and are actually challenging.
So Season 28 I guess they all started out at home. the race started via a radio message from phil. I don't know how I like that some people have such a disadvantage right away.

I'm guessing there's gonna be an equalizer. But we'll see.
I'm currently watching the 3rd season of Amazing Race Canada. They had a new route marker called face off where two teams went head to head in a competition, which in this case was kayak hockey. The winner would receive their next clue while the losing team had to wait for the next team to arrive and do it again. The final team still there would get a time penalty and have to wait it out until continuing.

That was sort of a failure because of the cold weather. There is a second one coming though and that one's way better.

lol yea I just finished that episode. Can't wait to see what the next face off is.
I haven't watched The Amazing Race in forever, is it still even worth watching?
Definitely check out season 25. And the Canada seasons are great aswell.
I started watching S25 but with it moving to Fridays it kinda ****** me up in terms of being able to keep up with it. I watched the first season of TAR: Canada and loved it but never know when it's on anymore because it's on in the summer hahaha
I tuned in out of morbid curiosity, but couldn't even get through the first episode. The cringe factor was about what one would expect if you stock a cast full of attention seeking vine/youtubers continually aware of the cameras and hamming it up...
It looks like this will be the last season after all as ratings continue to decline. I can only see it hemorrhaging viewers in the coming weeks after a poor start.
I liked the episode but mostly because of the tasks. I probably would've felt the same way had it been regular people racing. But I don't have anything against this group of teams.

I want to see Victoria from BB on this
lol
I loved when they had to get dolls if the person who greeted them at each pitstop. But containers was amazing

They only thing that sucks about Canada etc is that you don't have language and stuff but they are still good, even playing ground

Premiere Demo:
Feb 2014 - 1.8
Feb 2015 - 1.5
Feb 2016 - 1.2
I didn't even know it was on last night. Ha so much for all these youtubers bringing there fans to watch the show. I knew it was a terrible idea.
I liked the episode but mostly because of the tasks. I probably would've felt the same way had it been regular people racing. But I don't have anything against this group of teams.
Honestly moving it to Friday's killed it. Friday's are the worst day for tv
Okay just watched it, annoying cast but i loved the tasks. Also are they not giving prizes anymore for being first?
I so wish this show was on dvd. Reality shows always get the short end.
