I'm actually pretty pumped for next season.. i've heard good things about it. Apparently it was one of the most tortureous seasons as well (weather wise)... I don't remember, but did we figure out if there was a twist? Last time I remember hearing about it, it was just a fresh batch of rookies (and a BB player) with no specific theme... (three tribes?).

Caleb from BB16.. eh

Cagayan & the current season that's airing are the only seasons i've watched and i'd already elect Tony as the most annoying cast member to ever be on this show. Everything he does is annoying

Tony grew on me big time on a rewatch. I personally found Spencer more grating than Tony, but that seems to be an unpopular opinion. But if you think Tony's the most annoying, you have seen nothin' yet.

This, Spencer was such a chore to watch in Cagayan and surrounded by better players or characters. I actually love Tony and everything about him and how someone like him won. Top 3 for Cagayan is easily: Trish, Kass, Tony

Kass' alliance at the merge was in the majority and she was probably in the top 3 of her alliance. I liked her, her back and forth flipping, and cursing people out was fun to watch, but doesn't make her one of the better players. Especially since she wouldn't have received jury votes. Trish was and will still always be a follower to me. She was Tony's minion and still did what he want after he screwed her over 2 times, the third time being her. Her move in flipping Kass however was brilliant.

People who don't put Spencer in their top for that season confuse me. I don't know what you were watching.

As for the jury speeches that is something I will just have to agree to disagree with people. Spencer/Jenn etc. speeches of talking to the jury instead of questioning the final 2-3 will always be powerful moments to me.

Where did I say Kass was a better player than anyone? She's in my top 3 as a character. Kass was absolutely at the bottom and Sarah evn admits postshow Kass would have been gone after the first or second merge vote. I mean I don't see why that matters since it benefitted her, it never would have done good to try to take Tony out with Tasha/Jeremiah/Spencer still around. She played a stellar social game that was very subtle and had a jury vote on lock against most. She even has a shot against Spencer or Tony. Why? Spencer wasn't an engaging character and was at best a mediocre player. A nothing special social game and took fat because Tony wanted to use him until he had no use for him. Tony, Trish, and either LJ or Jefra are top 3 players of the season.

You didn't you said "Cagayan had better characters and players" and your 3 of the season is easily Tony, Kass and Trish. Never specified which but I assumed you meant just character. She would definitely be in my top 3 as well.

Spencer had a great social game. I don't think Tony's was that strong. Spencer is the reason Tony flipped so many times. Spencer used Tony's paranoia to get him further in the game more than Tony used Spencer. Saying he isn't engaging is very subjective because he was very engaging and easily rootable. I know a lot of people who loved him too. Pretty good social player, had a lot of friends/allies, was great in competitions. Alway talked himself out of being at the bottom. Lol at Jefra being in the top 3 of the season. She had a pretty good social game by being friends with LJ/Jeremiah/Alexis.  But just being friends with people isn't enough. She's so good but Spencer was the one who sealed her fate of going home. She was way to naive and didn't know how to play a strategic game. LJ was good. Wish he wasn't such an early boot.

Who was her jury vote on lock? I don't think Kass had a shot against Tony/Spencer. She was known to be the goat of the season. Woo, Tasha, Sarah, Trish, Jeremiah, Spencer/Tony wouldn't have voted Kass over one of them.

Nah that's how the edit portrays the Jefra boot, but Tony already wanted to flip again on Jefra. Besides that being manufactured by the edit, how else do you come to the conclusion Spencer used Tony's paranoia? The LJ boot was all Tony as well and the Trish was from Woo and Tony so I'm not seeing it. Spencer didn't have a good social game, he talked to no one aside from Garrett in the early game and was kept over JTIA because of Probst and not any actual skill (Kass and Tasha have said so). Postmerge he completely mismanages Kass to keep her locked in their alliance and doesn't have nearly enough relationships with the people like Woo, Jefra, or LJ. It's not awful, but definitely not one I'd even call good. So a mediocre social game, had good ideas, but could never pit them into motion because he never had strong enough relationships to do so. Competition wise is irrelevant to me. Jefra certainly played better than Spencer as she was far better socially. Even Tony has gone on record to say the edit didn't do her justice and she also played a role in Kass flipping by instigating a fight between the two. Tony sealed her fate actually.

That was talking about Trish as far as a locked jury vote.

Wait, great social game? Yikes how can you defend that? I mean he was a threat to win because of his underdog position that he put himself in, but there's ton of info that shows he's not even good socially.

I love jefra but she wasn't one of the top 3.

Who was? Tony and Trish are easily top 2 and I go back and forth on Jefra or LJ being #3.

I'm just gonna suggest you rewatch the season.

I love jefra but she wasn't one of the top 3.

Trish is like 4th or 5th at best

I'm gonna suggest you stop taking what the shows edits together to believe as fact and go through exit interviews and podcasts from people who were actually there. The editors constantly misled things because they want to paint their narrative only. Seasons this is so most blatant are Cagayan, Samoa, HvV, and Caramoan.

4th or 5th? Lol who was better than her? Only Tony, everyone else had much bigger flaws. If you're gonna use the "she was a follower" line, that's not a good arguement at all when she made f5 and has a great shot of winning.

I love jefra but she wasn't one of the top 3.

LJ is three Jefra is probably four but I still think LJ was better. I love jefra but I just don't think she was better than LJ, she was better at laying low than LJ was.

I think she was better since she could always use LJ as a shield and wouldn't be an instant target. Either order is fine with me though.

I think I'm addicted to doing brantsteele survivor simulations lol.

So am I. I wish they did some simulations on The Challenge.

You can do one but you have to use the Big Brother or Survivor formats and you have to upload the pictures yourself and add in the names. It's kind of annoying but if you have the time or patience go for it. Also, you can only do 20 people max

You go on the random section and it'll give you the option to use already made Chellenge players. You may get duplicates, like two jordans in a season, but it's better than uploading and doing the names yourself.

Really? I can't seem to find that. That's awesome though. Can you link me to it? or explain where to go. When I do custom I have to upload links.

I'm not entirely sure how to upload pictures so let me try to explain in.

Okay, so after you pick the season you would like to simulate, then you look at the top of the screen. You will see it says simulate, season 1-16, season 17-31, and links.

Go to the tap that says simulate (don't click on it) just hover your mouse over it and it will drop more options.

Hover your mouse down to the option that says 'Random'.

There, another few tabs would appear to the right of random. Just move your mouse to the tab that say "the challenge" and click on it. You have the option to have an all female cast or an all male cast as well, by selecting those tabs that pop up.

Hope this helps. You can do that with any of the simulations. I tried it on the hunger games (Devyn keeps winning for me... lol).

Kim from One World is my favourite winner by far.

Kim from One World is my favourite winners by far.

agreed.. she was awesome!!!

She played perfect game for me. Quiet for most of the time, but still super strategic and******* weren't even thinking about sending her home.

And on the other note: One World was hilarious. Idk if I ever LOL'ed so many times wathing a Survivor. Gabon is close, but still One World>>>

Kim needs to come back.

Kim needs to come back.

I still think she's ridiculously overrated. How can you be praised for dominating a season full of idiots?

can't even disagree with this what so ever.

Sure, Kim played the best game, but jesus, that season was absolutely horrible, and I've never seen a more pathetic group of males on Survivor either LOL.

Kim is great, but I'd have to see her in action on a returnee season (which is unlikely) before casting absolute judgment on her.

I agree. She really didn't have much competition on that season male or female. Which is why I want to see her return to see how she handles being in a season full of people who actually play the game wisley.

Yes! It wasn't woring for me because I was using the Cambodia simulator. When I switched to a different season it came up! Thank you haha

Yeah I really wanna see Kim play with some much better competition. Almost all the winners played against much better players since her season too. I think Tom or Chris are probably my favorite winners though. Best for me would be either JT, Tom, or Denise.

TOM IS THE MAN. Domination from start to finish, though the votes would've been tighter if Ian didn't lose his balls on the island.

JT?? as in the guy that basically handed over his HI to Parv for no reason other than that he got played hard, and then got the boot.. in the same episode? lol

He gave it to Russell.

I think the tragic flaw to J.T.'s thinking about there being a woman alliance is that on the vote where Russell didn't go home, he should've abandoned ship on that plan. The only reason Russell was able to get away with his gameplay on HvV was because he played back-to-back, if any of those people knew any better, he wouldn't have lasted very long.

And oh wait, Boston Rob did KNOW BETTER and Tyson still screwed it up lolol.

I think JT's play on HvV was fine, but falling back onto Tocantins, which is what he's referring to, he is one of the better winners, played a great social game, great in challenges and strategically wasn't as innocent of a country boy as he put himself out to be.

JT as in the guy who had people throwing their games away to help him because they loved him that much. The guy who played a perfect game with no votes cast against and a 7-0 win. You're not remembering that properly though, he gave it to Russell and it was actually a decent plan for the info he had at the time. JT had nothing to lose either as he was at the bottom with the Heroes and all his allies got voted out premerge in Tyson, Rob, Coach, and Courtney.

I still don't think it was the brightest move in survivor history lol... he may not have known who "Russell" was, but if he was at the bottom and had nothing to lose, he should've kept the damn idol. lol

Yeah, men in One World were awful. Still can't understand why they let Colton do wathever he wants.

But Jay is the hottest guy ever in Survivor imo.

And Kim was a female version of JT. Girls would have do everything for her.

idol protects you for one vote. people can protect you for several.

And Wentworth just proved you can play your idol at the bottom, and still remain in the game afterwards... just sayin

Yes, but this isn't something Wentworth knew at all. She's kind of getting a lucky break here. Keeping an idol for yourself while on the bottom of your alliance or try to use to bring someone over, I'd choose the second. It just looks a lot worse since we were privy to info JT wasn't.

Wentworth also had Fishbach who wanted to flip and make a big move at the time, so she lucked out.

JT's plan (if it'd worked, was a good one), but unfortunately it backfired hard. Still think he's good at the game, just that wasn't his game to win.
