I think when a fight happens everyone in the house needs to agree they feel safe. I remember cutthroat (I believe) Shavoun attacked someone with a pencil or something so the only had to go to production individully and say if they felt age or not.
That's not what happened. Shavoun hit Vinny with a chain necklace so Vinny (out of a natural reaction) pushed her. Then they had to go to production.
