After CM and Brandon left I didnt care about that team anyways.
I don't think anyone is acting like he was the only one, but since the season of Fresh Meat has a myraid of cast to select upon (more than any real world seasons since its comprised of FM1 and FM2) the team could have been strong. Also Big Easy was probably the biggest anchor of all the anchors combined. He single handly destroyed FreshMeat. which i'm not personally against, but still. CM and Brandon were the only two lkable cast from that team anyways, so I was on the same boat.
I know Diem was sick at the time (was she?) of BOTS, but how cool would it be if it was like Diem and Evelyn (FM1) and Pete and Noor (FM2). As much as I like Laurel and Cara, i thought making the team half of each season would have been cool.
Yeah this is so true i agree and yes DA Big Easy was the biggest anchor because first he couldn´t be carrier due to his size and the other teams all had female anchors and second the other team anchors have never given up on a mission or on a elimination, not to mention that he was always screwing fresh meat on the daily missions and he would act super offended when they wanted him to go to the elimination like he didnt deserved to be there, also it didn´t help that everyone was gunning for fresh meat since they came on early had fresh meat and Austin teamed up with another veteran season like Key West or Road Rules team things would have been so different.
I'm not arguing that Eric wasn't an achor because frankly he was and he did hold that team back alot..but that was needed.There was no reason for that team to even be going far in the game anyways. That game was all about The New RW'ers finally getting their shot not cheap *** stale meat getting a good team and going all the way.
And do you not understand the point of that particular season? It was to showcase a new group of challengers. Not a bunch of tired old, used up vets get their way and run the game once again. We see that shit bascially every season. Why did we need to see that again?
It wouldn't be if the veteran teams made it further, BUT, I'm glad that wasn't the case. Seasons was great, showcase awesome new personalities, and was down right funny watching FM and Austin flounder like that. So with that, I'm on yourside DA. It's a shame many left and "retired" and MTV did not jump and utilized them more than just secondary characters in the seasons following.
Honestly, I think Sydney, although "veterans" or older cast mates, would have been much more refreshing than FM, and I would have liked it if they were the brooklyn of BOTS and while Brooklyn be eliminated second. Again, personal taste, cause Sarah was really getting most of the time from that team while Devyn got some lazy hashed love story.
That's what I hated the most.They should've focused on the new schoolers and make them the core part of the show and keep that momentum going with the following RW seasons and make it a new beginning for the shows bascially. Not just reduce them to second fiddle and reuse certain people.

I actually like the BOTS(2) format. It caused tension between some teams and showed the dynamics of how the teams work and who were closer, etc.

FM were nothing but terrible casting choices that infected this show like a disease. And AYTO is NOT NEEDED for this show because anything those lame ******* can do an actcual castmember can do. They have enough people to do this show already. What is the point of them exactly? They don't help the ratings, they're not interesting at all and they get eliminated early as hell. You seem to forget that FM wasn't apart of the plan for that season and they only got on because Sydney got Dq'ed. Seasons 2 was clearly made for The Real World seasons. Not for Challenge seasons and not for Road Rules. It was about The Next Generation of RW'ers becoming challengers as been stated before. And I'm sorry but **** all that "top dogs passing the torch/crown" Nonsense. That has never happened before so it doesn't need to happen now.

Um..Yes they are. Because if they don't invest in newer people then this show dies. Not everyone aspires to be Backpack and do these show until the day they die. So many people have moved on with their lives and did other things. Can't always just Rely on Backpack/CT/Wes...Hell 1 out of the 3 of their future on these shows are questionable not to mention the many people whom have walked away from these shows whom were "household" names at one point or another. You can't expect the same people to be on TV forever.

That's the problem. so many of these people end up doing so many of these shows and ignore others that want to get on that people end up getting used to them and think that they are essential to these shows when they're not. BTW having AYTO on the show isn't evolving. It's another usetless and bad addition to this show. Evolving would be them actually making use of the history of this show and RW and RR's and start casting from all ages and all era's and making this show suitable for that.THAT would be progress.
FM 2 wasn't much better either. Everyone except Laurel, Cara Maria and to a Lesser extent Theresa were either boring or useless. and the three women I mention sucked ass(Theresa to a lesser extent). But they didn't do as much damage to this show though.

Yeah this argument is tired and a situation of been there, done that. DA may go about stating his opinions in a string way, but they're still his opinions and ones that are likely not gonna change.

Honestly though, Camila can always giggle to herself and say she is the only Spring Breaker to appear on a Challenge. Can you imagine how bitter everyone else could be? It's like being on the Real World and being the only person invited onto a season, how embarrassing.
They're probably thinking "I should've *************** for the cameras like she did". I have no doubt that whole "pepper freakout" was her actress moment to try & get on the show. It obviously worked.
I still don't understand what they got from that? Like she faked choked on Peppers so they think she's good for the show based on that? Can somone like fake an ****** and then get on the challenge then? I don't get it.

Graphik you forgot FM also brought Diem. I'd say that was solid and gave us the best love story this series has seen.
But like DA said, different strokes for different folks.
I don't mention Diem anymore just out of respect, but I really wasn't a big fan of that love story lol. It was sad how it ended though.
Random but I thought Diem was gorgeous on Exes 2. Best she had ever looked on the show.

I didn't like their love story either....Well not so much dislike but just did not care at all about their relationship.
These are the same people trying to make Jenna happen & continue to cast AYTO people after casuals & hardcore viewers alike have expressed their distaste for it on various social media outlets. There is no rhyme or reason behind it at all.

it was a lack of a better word. But yes. it was big. Anyways moving forward with the series, FM are now kinda non-factors.
And I can't tell you how happy I am about that! All I need is for Cara to retire and their reign of terror on this show would be finally over.
