And Sarah's dance moves during that elimination were annoying as all get out.
I loved it and was so happy Zach was basically beaten and should have been eliminated that night. Production just decided sudden death should be 2/3 round again and CJ still beat Zach 3-2 overall.

I loved it when Zach basically pushed CJ like a little baby to the other side of the bell, when CJ realized he could no longer use his speed.

Poor thing still just barely beat him still, tragic.

Well what do u think? A six three 240 lb man can't get low as someone who's about 5 eleven and like 180 lbs. And CJ is athletic. You're acting as if Preston almost beat Zach.
I hate the fact that nowadays every competitor/veteran/regular does crossfit to get ready for challenges, i absolutely hate it, i prefer watch normal people try to overcome this challenge than crossfit beasts overcoming challenges in which they were preparing for months in advance.
BOTS2 had one of the weakest male casts of all seasons IMO

Before crossfit people worked out and trained in a regular gym theres not much of a difference.

that only really started after The Gauntlet 3, and by the time of the Ruins that's when working out before the challenges took prominence.

Honestly if any cast was weak it was The Island/Duel 2 and the Ruins. THOSE were weak casts.
I thought Duel 2 & The Ruins casts were great (especially for their time period), it's just they either didn't pan out well (Duel 2) or were ruined by Fresh Meat/Johnny (Ruins).

I agree. I like how Duel 2 and Ruins had some cast members we haven't seen in awhile like Landon, Mark, Ruthie, Ibis, Darrell and Syrus, who all took 5-6 season breaks.

I didn't like Duel 2's cast. It was just filled with boring or terrible people. There's only a few I liked.
The Ruins...Eh I'd say the cast was slightly better but it still could've been better.

I don't know what happened with Duel 2...that season should've been lit with all those crazies/drama magnets in the house.
The Challengers team definitely could've been better. Brad also had a lot to do with why that season turned out so bad, both directly & indirectly.

I feel like The Ruins should have been old school vs New School. That would've made that season and the outcome so much better because it wouldn't have been a blowout and JEK probably doesn't control the game like they did.
In my opinion, I think Seasons 2 was a great season but that cast could've been SO much better when you see what teams got disqualified, what people/teams were cut, which teams they wanted for the season but couldn't get, etc. which is why I want this to be the next format to have a 3rd version, then a Free Agents 2. Both formats have so much potential.

It sucks knowing we could have had the original San Diego and Vegas teams and the Road Rules team. The competition would have been so much stronger and there would be a good balance of old-school and new-school competitors.
RR: Darrell, Derrick, Katie, Rachel
San Diego 1: Brad, Randy, Cameran, Robin
Las Vegas 1: Alton, Frank, Arissa, Trishelle
Since Sydney was disqualified, these three teams could've taken the spots of Austin and Fresh Meat. It would've been nice to see how the Rookies vs. Veterans storyline would play out.

I do agree that the cast could have been better. Like if they were able to get DC and Hollywood teams together and have them take Austin and Fresh Meats spots then that would've been great and would've made the show better. Also Get Leroy and Cooke to replace Alton and Trishelle.

it annoys me too
this show is basically supposed to be NORMAL people(like the viewers) that have lives but still do challenges. Now instead of that you have a bunch of crossfitters with no lives that train all day like Olympic athletes but produce results like the jv squad in high school. It's basically turned into a bunch of athletic rejects that couldn't make it into the big leagues and arent good enough for professional sports so now they're trying to compete against pedestrians
i remmeber Zach Talking about how he loves the challenges because he uses it as an athletic and competitive outlet, which is something he doesn't have in his real life because he wasn't good enough to get drafted into serious football

working out as much as bananas, Emily, cara Maria, Zach, ashley Kelsey do is abnornal. This doesn't happen in the real world where people have careers, hobbies, families and lives
I have more respect for people like wes, camila, sarah, theresa, nany, Timmy and abram. People who are just naturally athletic and show up with little to no prep work but don't take training for the challenges too seriously. If you need to train like a pro athlete just to keep up or barely beat NORMAL people then I'm sorry but you were born genetic shit and you are trying way too hard
and before anyone says anything i don't consider crossfit or exercising a HOBBY. Rock climbing is a hobby. White water rafting is a hobby. Surfing or biking or cutting wood are hobbies and exercise just happens to be a coincidental byproduct of those things. Going into an air conditioned concrete building with Katy perry playing in the background while throwing around shiny metal pieces and sipping on your $90 specially formulated whole foods protein powder isn't a hobby...that's manual labor

lol. yeah crossfit is basically a cult. however i disagree with you on Zach. Zach is pretty much a natural athlete.

Amen to this...i have nothing to add on i agree 100% with all of this
About Ruins and Duel 2 , Duel 2 had a solid cast tho, but i didnt like the aliance thing that started since the first week, we knew this would play out like that but i was expecting some sort of outcast group to tear the alliance like Wes/Svetlana did on D1 but instead was predictable and Landon not going to the final was the final blow, props to Rachel tho.
I also think that they evolved into this crossfit cult mostly because how the Producers come up with this super-hardcore finals that no regular person would want to do, they shoulnt have done so many hardcore finals in a row ( this all started on Rivals 1) and since they overused the 2 days final ( which i think its pointless in most cases with exceptions) the competitors developed this mentality that in order to win they need to be crossfiters or something like that too perform in this conditions...
Ruins was just a *********** of things, i enjoyed the first half but when Wes went home everything interesting left too, its just ridiculous( and i have expressed this many times ) how the rest of the veterans let JEK run things around when they didnt even had the majority, i like JEK but im the first to admit that they have ruined several challenges with this alliance stuff ( Island, Ruins, Duel 2) had so potencial...but then again this casts nowadays are a bunch of sheep...
I enjoyed Rivals 2 days final and maybe Exes 1 but some of them are so unnecessary and it just tramps on who ever reaches the end on the first day first, Seasons,Rivals 2(at least shouldve give 3rd places a chance to compete),Free Agents were all unnecessary.
On that note, I want to see Melinda too.
I loved it and was so happy Zach was basically beaten and should have been eliminated that night. Production just decided sudden death should be 2/3 round again and CJ still beat Zach 3-2 overall.

Battle of the Seasons 2012 had a weak cast. I know some people are gonna try and argue its not but to no prevail.
