I thought Free Agents was a good season. I just wish the cast wasn't so recycled. The guys side was strong but the girls side was weak. I like formats like these because BMP can cast any player that they want unlike Rivals and Exes where people get pushed to the side if they don't have a partner.
Frank & Zach were nowhere near as nauseating as JEK on Seasons 2. Although, current Zach is right up there with them.
They definitely were to me and that's just one season. While JEK always come off as frat guys who don't realize how annoying they gwt, Frank/Zach take things way too far and deliberately aim to hurt people like Frank using personal info of Nany to hurt her and make her upset or Zach saying Sarah has down syndrome.
I think both parts are terrible, kenny knowing sarah had a crush on him used to call her a fat butch lesbian and how no one would like to have *** with her, I think JEK was really aware of the things they were saying at the time, and used all kind of words and actions to hurt people emotions with the excuse of "im just having fun" just like frank and zach did, frankly I dont see any difference on the behaviour between JEK and FZ both parts were equally terrible.
Nia, Johnny Reilly & Latoya are introduced as the competitors are let loose in a solo game. It’s every man & woman for themselves. This quickly proves false, however, as random teams & pairs are also thrown into the mix. Players must also blindly choose cards in The Draw to see who goes into elimination. Challenge rookie Jordan makes himself public enemy #1 as he runs his mouth & ignites a simmering rivalry with the ever-cocky Bananas & also a romance with alpha female Laurel. Nany bewitches the charming Cohutta, who sticks by her side even after she shares some under-the-covers bonding with Johnny R. Cara Maria & Laurel’s friendship is tested after Laurel’s loyalty comes into question. After injuring her hand during an elimination round vs. Jessica, Cara vows to remain in the game & fight. However, Nany & Bananas vote her into The Draw, where she faces off against her former BFF, who quickly sends her home in a crushing defeat. Jordan's attempts ata power move by flipping every card in The Draw to send himself into elimination against bananas backfires when he is beaten handily by his enemy. High Point- The change of format is extremely refreshing, but the addition of some key players on the female side would have made the competition much more exciting. For those tired of the lame bravado spouted off by CT, it is poetic justice seeing him eliminated in a puzzle, just before the finals by his long-time foe Johnny Bananas. Low Point- It’s disappointing to see Nia dispatched so early before she even got a chance to unleash her inner hurricane. Frank also makes a way-too-early exit due to a respiratory virus. The utterly useless Devyn manages to skate by on pure luck & avoid every elimination round to get to the final. Bananas narrowly beats out Johnny reilly for 1st place & takes home his record-breaking 5th win. Historical Moment- Cara Maria stretches her challenge appearance streak to 7, tying her with Sarah, who wisely & thankfully takes her first break since her inaugural appearance on The Ruins. B+
TBH I also forgot Swift was on this season, even though he was in 6 episodes.
Idk what I'd rank this season since I stopped watching midway through, but from what I saw a C+ to B- is what I'd give it. The girls side was weak competitively wise, but I loved it personality and drama wise.
Ex-plosion cast member Jay, Jenna, Thomas & Hailey make their splash into The Challenge, along with some random, uselessAre You The One contestants & Portland’s lovely Averey. The drama is high with real-life, genuine hard feelings between many of the former lovers. In a series first, eliminated competitors have the chance to battle it out to regain a spot in the game. Zach mentally torments his partner Jonna for the entirety of the season, despite the fact that she more than pulls her own weight. Ironically, it is he that is responsible for their eventual departure, but not before Zach romances a clearly stupid Jenna. Nia flips out numerous times at being continually thrown into elimination & it culminates in her being sent home right before the finals due to her inappropriateness towards Jordan. Theresa is brought back into the game as her replacement. A sad tone is cast over the first few episodes when Diem falls ill after the 3rd challenge & is unable to continue in the game. Sadly, she passes away months later from stomach cancer. Knight also dies months after filming ends from an accidental drug overdose. They are both given respectful & graceful exits from the series. High Point- It is a pure delight to see Johnny Bananas given his comeuppance after Sarah tosses him & Nany into The Dome right before the final challenge. He eventually loses & is sent home with an attitude that is saltier than the Dead Sea. Nia lays into Nany with a barrage of nasty insults that are hilarious & probably all true. Low Point- Wes’ master manipulation and excellent game play are not enough to take him to a victory this time. He & Theresa are eliminated near the end & are the only team not able to have the chance to fight their way back into the game. Jay & Jenna's pathetic performance in the final proves that they are indeed layups, & stole a spot that could've gone to a more competitive team. Historical Moment- Sarah finally breaks her 8-season losing streak & claims a win with Jordan. The CT/Diem love story turns its final page with Diem’s death. A-
Battle of the Exes II was definitely one of the best seasons in the new era. I like how there was no drunken drama. We saw some strategic gameplay, great challenges and elimination rounds. It really was entertaining from beginning to end. I enjoyed the clip of Diem and Knight dancing together in the finale when Sarah says that she saw the most beautiful sides of people in her confessional. I'm going to really miss those two in future challenges.
The drama this season was everything. So much was going on: Averey vs. Nany, Bananas vs. Sarah, Bananas/Nany vs. Wes/Theresa, Johnny/Averey drama, Jordan vs. Nia, Nany vs. Nia, Zach/Jonna drama. I watch the Nany vs. Nia fight all the time.
Exes 2 was a great season and shows everyone that there is much better drama when it's competition based instead of drunken mess.
Also i expected the worst from it preseason because of the theme but it was great.

Well that's only because people were actually playing their own game and willing to make moves that benefited them for a change. The season really benefited from that.
My ***** will always be huuuge for Wes. I love not having to be objective & just give my own personal opinions. It's more fun to toast the people I love & trash the people I can't stand.

Absolutely! It was strategy from episode 1 till the final.
The only thing that really really sucked was the handling of the exile twist, it would have made the season much much better if they threated every round like the last one with Jonna/Zach vs. Banany.
Hate him or love him (***** or not), but Wes really got robbed badly with the handling of the exile twist on this season. You can't deny that his strategy was outstanding this season as was Sarah's, but she profited from the exile twist immensely. I mean, why couldn't they wait until the f3 to bring the ex-couple back?

That was the original plan supposedly but CT and Diem leaving changed that.

So true.
TBH I also forgot Swift was on this season, even though he was in 6 episodes.
I deleted Swift from my review since he was so boring, so undynamic & kinda gross.
He was worse than Brandon and Preston. At least they are somewhat likeable.
Brandon, yes. Preston though is as nasty as Tyler in my opinion.
Preston isn't likeable in general. But compared to Swift. He is but just a tiny bit.
Swift wasn't even that bad.
Idk what I'd rank this season since I stopped watching midway through, but from what I saw a C+ to B- is what I'd give it. The girls side was weak competitively wise, but I loved it personality and drama wise.
Free Agents was alright. Had some flaws but it was okay.

Exes 2 was a **** good season. It's the best Since Seasons 2 IMO.
Both truly sad for two very different reasons.

Man...the Wes ***** in these synopses is strong.
