Seasons 2 had a cool *** intro! I like how the intro featured the cast members' original Real World photos from their season along with each team doing a cool pose.
Yep! That was a VERY nice touch IMO. And I liked that they had the original "THE REAL WORLD" Chants too. I thought that was cool as **** and it really drove home the point of the season IMO.
the debate on whether Evelyn and Nicole being pushed was jusifiable was awesome. i'm just upset that Jason got more heat for that than what Frank pushed Sam and when Backpack pushed Evelyn. and Debut Album is right.
Sam and Evelyn never put themselves in the situation to get pushed like that. Nico;e did. lus Wes was in Backpack's face so Wes should have been pushed too.

Bananas not pushing Wes does not mean him pushing Evelyn is not justified, it doesn't work like that. And yeah Frank rightfully caught a lot of shit for pushing Sam.

why not? Wes was in his face so Bananas should have pushed Wes as well.
and di Frank get a lot of heat for pushing Sam. i really don't remember. i remember on the reunion Sam was complaining people weren't making a big deal out of that.
How did Nicole put herself in that situation any differently from Evelyn? "They did it" lol that's a compelling argument and yeah, no I still see Frank and Zach to be even worse than JEK. They taunt and trash talk people even after the while show is airing (telling Knight to overdose, etc).
JEK and the challngers team plotted to put her and Kellyanne in to face each other and she was ****** off about that. Nothing was done to Nicole. She probably just wanted to look tough.
And honestly you really have to look at how they treated the women on The Ruins..that alone leads me to belive they would do something like that. Many of the castmembers have stated that they go too far and with the way they treated Tonya that season I can easily see them doing what they did.
Frank/Zach was mostly just hurtful words..JEK was acutal actions .
Portland powerhouses Jordan & Marlon & Vegas vixen Cooke make their presences felt when past nemeses team up once again. Fate spanks Sarah one more time as her partner Trishelle storms off the show following a tussle with Aneesa in episode 3. Sarah is sent home with her. Naomi departs for family issues in the first ep & Cara Maria replaces her as Cooke’s partner. CT charms volatile newcomer Anastasia, but then later reacts to his brutish ways with a few good kicks & slaps to the Boston mumbler. Jordan first romances Sarah & then later Jonna. Emily is delivered her first win with teammate Paula by her side. After a season of erratic behavior due to her medication for a 2nd bout of cancer, Diem & her partner Aneesa are eliminated in the final Jungle. High Point-Wes’ verbal smack down of the arrogant Johnny is a pleasure to watch. It’s even better when Wes defeats him in the finals & gets his first win since The Duel. Low Point- Once again, the rivalries are far-fetched & make the drama seem extremely forced. It only reminds longtime viewers what could have been, had genuine enemies been forced to compete with one another. During the live reunion show, a drunken Knight slaps & attacks Frank for his previous remarks towards Jemmye. Knight is strong-armed by Emily & thrown off the stage. Lackluster elimination rounds mar an otherwise above average season. Historical Moment- CT is rewarded for nine years of hard work beginning with The Inferno in 2004, with his first challenge triumph. Love her or hate her, Challenge regular Paula certainly made her mark throughout the series. Shortly after her second win, she got a full-time job in New Jersey, became pregnant & married. Rivals 2 was the last chapter in her tumultuous reality TV saga. B
Exes 1 was one of the most forgettable Challenges, right up there with Inferno 3.
Seasons 2 is one of those seasons where it was pretty good, but it could've been a LOT better...especially when you see what other RW teams were planned, the whole Sydney thing, Team Road Rules being on until the very last minute, Carley being there instead of Cara Maria, etc.
any chance they have to get Arissa/Katie/Frank/Cooke on a show, they need to take it. A 2nd Vegas or Road Rules team woud've been much better than that Fresh Meat disaster.
Frank & Zach were nowhere near as nauseating as JEK on Seasons 2. Although, current Zach is right up there with them.
They definitely were to me and that's just one season. While JEK always come off as frat guys who don't realize how annoying they gwt, Frank/Zach take things way too far and deliberately aim to hurt people like Frank using personal info of Nany to hurt her and make her upset or Zach saying Sarah has down syndrome.
Disagree. They were much worse than that.
I'm going off of what people in the house have said about how they act in podcasts and such, while on podcasts/interviews, everyone on Seasons 2 mentioned how serious the new kids took the game and it led to little to no fun.
But that was happening before that season though. You can't tell me challenges like The Ruins and The Island or Cutthroat were any fun at all. I'm willing to bet the castembers on those seasons were miserable as **** and had no fun.
I remember a lot of castmembers saying that on BOTS it felt like they were in competition 24/7. Like if someone talked to someone that wasn't in their alliance they thought it was always about the game while on other challenges once they got back to the house everyone partied together and hungout.
I for one thought Zach and Frank (whom I like more) were worse on that season than JEK. JEK was just mainly anoying childish humor while Zach and Frank was way past that. If anyone from JEK pushed Sam like they did or got into it with Nany like Frank did they would have been hated forever for it.
Isn't this kinda similar to what JEK did with Laurel(or was it Mandi?) on Rivals 1 when she stated hanging around CT alot and they got ****** off about it?
Eh..JEK was childish humber but there was one thing they did that trumps all of that and what Frank/Zach ever did to anyone on Seasons 2 and that is the Tonya situation. And Backpack did push Evelyn on The Ruins and noone bated an eye.
That was more JEK fearing CT and Laurel being the leader of her team, since they let Jenn/Adam and Mandi/CT hang out with no problem. That also hasn't been proven and isn't really something valid to include. Also, because Evelyn was right in his face yelling at him? Sam was not in anyone's face when she was pushed by her teammates. I'm pretty sure you thought Nicole deserved to be pushed or man handled on Skeletons when she and Jason got into it so not sure why you're bringing this up
She did number one and number two stop bringing this shit up. It happened, it was handled, move the **** on.

All parties were bad but again JEK are like middle schoolers who like to make fun of people for no reason then get over it as do the people they make fun of who have no problem hanging out with them or saying nice things about them outside the show. Frank/Zach have gone as far as bringing up peoples past, putting their hands on Sam for no justifiable reason and have still talked trashed about people after the show on Twitter and interviews saying things like Knight should overdose. I know you loathe JEK and think they are satan in reality TV form so either way you won't change your mind.
(I stayed away from the lawsuit with Tonya because 1) No one really knows if it's true or not and 2) I wasn't trying to spark up that dreadful arguement)
It was true because multiple people told her it happened very credible people at that.

this season was everything to me i loved it and even that lame *** season finale should've been with Marlon and Jordan and Camila/Jemmye shouldve been able to compete. *******
How long does a final take filming and atheletic wise? I remember Jenn on Cutthroat's finale said it was 8 hours.
I still think production dropped the ball casting that season as Rivals 2 when it should've been Rookies vs. Veterans. I enjoyed seeing CT/Wes win though.
Jordan, Marlon, and Cooke were some of the few good things about Rivals 2. It was a really disapointingly average season. Right after the breath of fresh air that was Seasons 2 we go right back to the tired *** status quo.
That season really should have been Old vs New or Rookies vs Veterans.
About as garbage as the first save for Cooke, Aneesa v.s. Trishelle, Jordan (only on this seaon), Marlon, Tyrie & Naomi ****
Dylan76 is very lenient with the grades...I would be handing out Ds & Fs all over the place.
What did you like about Naomi and Tyrie? Or Marlon, actually? Curious since while I thought she was alright, I wouldn't credit Naomi for making this a good season or anything.
I couldn't give a season an F or even a D, because even when they suck, the still entertain me. They just suck compared to the season of the Golden Age. I would still take a ****** season like Duel 2 or Rivals over the majority of the garbage on TV.

They didn't really make or break the season....Basically that's just it, they were alright. They wern't annoying, attention-seeking or awful. I guess you could add Trey to that as well.
As for Marlon, despite the whole BS ******** storyline he was pretty cool. Ms. Fail was ok on here too despite it taking her being on her 4th show at the time to finally be a part of something.
I love Rivals 2 cast. Male side was one of the strongest in new era.
Very true. Zach, CT, Trey, Tyrie, Leroy, Marlon, Frank, Jordan, Backpack, Dummybear, Robb (at about 220lb) Ty were all either very athletic or could bench in excess of 300lbs. For some both.

Girls were pretty good too Cooke, Emily, Aneesa, Camila, Nany, Jonna, Paula, Diem, Theresa, Cara Maria. Throw in a few older vets and I wouldn't have even minded the originally planned Duel 3.

Nia, Johnny Reilly & Latoya are introduced as the competitors are let loose in a solo game. It’s every man & woman for themselves. This quickly proves false, however, as random teams & pairs are also thrown into the mix. Players must also blindly choose cards in The Draw to see who goes into elimination. Challenge rookie Jordan makes himself public enemy #1 as he runs his mouth & ignites a simmering rivalry with the ever-cocky Bananas & also a romance with alpha female Laurel. Nany bewitches the charming Cohutta, who sticks by her side even after she shares some under-the-covers bonding with Johnny R. Cara Maria & Laurel’s friendship is tested after Laurel’s loyalty comes into question. After injuring her hand during an elimination round vs. Jessica, Cara vows to remain in the game & fight. However, Nany & Bananas vote her into The Draw, where she faces off against her former BFF, who quickly sends her home in a crushing defeat. Jordan's attempts ata power move by flipping every card in The Draw to send himself into elimination against bananas backfires when he is beaten handily by his enemy. High Point- The change of format is extremely refreshing, but the addition of some key players on the female side would have made the competition much more exciting. For those tired of the lame bravado spouted off by CT, it is poetic justice seeing him eliminated in a puzzle, just before the finals by his long-time foe Johnny Bananas. Low Point- It’s disappointing to see Nia dispatched so early before she even got a chance to unleash her inner hurricane. Frank also makes a way-too-early exit due to a respiratory virus. The utterly useless Devyn manages to skate by on pure luck & avoid every elimination round to get to the final. Bananas narrowly beats out Johnny reilly for 1st place & takes home his record-breaking 5th win. Historical Moment- Cara Maria stretches her challenge appearance streak to 7, tying her with Sarah, who wisely & thankfully takes her first break since her inaugural appearance on The Ruins. B+

Mediocre season, I'd give it a C+ honestly at most. Loved Trishelle/Aneesa and Theresa finally making her presence known though.

Rivals 2 is one of my favorites. Lots of drama and unexpected elimination rounds.
I laughed so hard at this for some reason.
Actually Mediocre would be a better way to describe this season.

Definitely! A Duel 3 would've been great too, that was supposed to be the original format. The girls side was also strong.
