Now I see why they did Bloodlines because more and more cast members are either retiring, getting married/retiring, or becoming parents/getting pregnant. So the addition of 14 new cast members I guess is good. I just hope the majority of them are interesting.
That was not Bunim Murray's reason. There are enough people from The Real World and Road Rules alumni to form a cast. There are people who are even married who still want to do another challenge. Bloodlines was created because people in power don't like to admit when they ****** up so rather than listen to us they created Bloodlines which they hope will save the series. Let's hope enough happened to get us to Season 28.
That's why I don't even get why they would even do a season like this. They need to be using the castmembers they have instead of adding random people.
In order to keep the challenge alive; there needs to be a medium in which the next format plays to our(long time challenge fans) interests and intrigues new fans to watch. Season 28 (GOAT season) hopefully!!

I believe it will be to.. especially the great ending .. literally a person who was on a season who brought in fresh faces . Wins on a season that brings fresh faces.
I personally don't mind the format. It's kinda like the mixed the old vote-off format with the current elimination format and I think that's cool.
But I'm still a bit on the fence with the season as a whole though. I feel like this could be another good season with a bad ending ala Cutthroat and Seasons 2 but I'm not giving my hopes up.
But my main thing is the bloodlines. I'm really hoping that these people don't turn out to be horrible/useless like every other person that they have brought on that wasn't Real World or Road Rules. I want outside people to be worth a **** for once.

This format is garbage. It is the second worst ever. I'd almost rather just have another pair challenge.

I'm indifferent about this season. I hated the idea at first and hated the cast. I feel like they could have went a different way and had certain people that should have been cast for this season over others. With that being said some of the bloodlines look interesting. However, this is only based on pictures so I could be completely wrong but I feel like Michael, Rianna, Larissa, Jamie, Mitch, Vinny, Anthony, Candice and Shane could be interesting. I'm only excited for Abe, Cara, Aneesa, Cohutta, Cory, KellyAnne and Tony from the Alumni. I'm glad Abe is there but it sucks Tony got hurt. I was looking forward to seeing him compete and see how far he would go. Extremely happy with the winner, besides Brianna and Jenna being in the final, seeing Cory, Mitch, Cara and Jamie compete seems like it will be awesome. I would have rather seen Aneesa and Rianna as the third spot or KellyAnne and Anthony. It's going to be exciting to see Cara Maria finally get her win. As for the twist, I hate it. Seems unfair and I am not looking forward to seeing people in jeopardy of going home but not being able to do anything to save themselves except watch their family member compete, that just seems extremely underwhelming. Imagine wanting Banana's to go home but not getting to see him get destroyed in an elimination. Or imagine wanting Aneesa to make the final but having to watch Rianna get eliminated instead of Aneesa get to fight for the spot.

both are good, but The Challenge is an elimination show, so having cast members being eliminated without going into elimination is kind of odd. I can't imagine casual fans liking it - I think it's kind of why The Island didn't work .
Excited about the season! Things I wanna see THIS SEASON:
* Cory potentially fighting with Bananas or Vinny or anyone that will challenge him.
* Jenna and Brianna totally surprising people in the drama and challenge aspect.
* Kellyanne and Cohutta reunite and potentially form an alliance..
* Great editing and amazing character arcs
* Nicole and Nany being mostly disliked by the cast (idk I just love when Nany is hated lol it's entertaining)
* Did I say Cory? ... yes more Cory much perferred with his shirt off.
cohutta and jill might've been the first team to leave, lol. didn't PR just say that she wasn't sure about the order of emily/christina cohutta/jill and candace/leroy?

This season will be bad ***, never been this excited for a season since The Ruins.

Eh good ending but the format kinda ruins my excitement .
Especially since half the cast will go home without a chance to fight for there spot.
I believe it was also confirmed that most of the bloodlines were repsonsible for making their alumni partner go home which sucks.
