I have to admit, I never expected to get casted, but im SHOCKED i didn't at least get a second interview.

Hahaha I'm far from a model, but they've casted some dudes that are clearly not models in the past (see: Mike from LV2, Andrew from DC). I'm certainly not bad looking (i don't think...) but I'm also certainly not super buff or nothin'. I'll just tell myself it's because I'm not a model or personal trainer lookin ************, because I wrote the **** outta that long app.

You're naming guys from seasons where the recruiting didn't take place or wasn't intense like it is now. Not only myself but I've met people at casting calls who are pretty good looking with amazing stories who are overlooked because they don't fit the mold that casting directors want(who i should mention don't even fit the mold themselves). At this point take it as a compliment you weren't cast.

They didn't have a casting call in my city so I didn't go to one. I considered flying to the closest one (i have a friend in the area) but it was wicked expensive

You would have been ****** if you did that. After the first few groups you can see the disinterest on the casting director's face. I was actually hapy about this season because I thought with the time off they would realize we weren't intersted in them casting a group of models and gym rats but they seem to be proving me wrong. You can't expect to get good drama out of seven strangers who all share the same background and the twist of bringing in people has gotten old fast.
I can't wait to try out for the real world when I turn 21 (If the show still exists). I'm fit and athletic so hopefully that will play to my advantage. I also love partying and socializing so I could be the party boy of the house. I don't expect to ever be cast but I'll definitley try!

There's a reason they dropped "The" from the show's title. It's no longer "The Real World" and it's the furthest thing from "the true story..."
