I think part of the reason we don't get such great casts anymore is because there is no business in being a reality show alumni. Back in the day there were TONS of speaking engagements and club appearances. You had to milk your 15 minutes for all it was worth. Part of the fun in watching the old challenges was seeing these people who have been doing appearances together and seeing how relationships developed and or faded.
True. The club appearances still go on, but you have to be apart of a HOT for-the-moment show...those BGC girls make bank doing club appearances as well as Love & Hip Hop.
I think LV2 was the last RW to consistently book appearances. They've dried up since then....
To wrap it all up, I think that the cast on the men's side isn't bad (other than Johnny of course). I wouldn't have minded Wes instead of him or of course an old-schooler but we won't get into that lol & if Leroy doesn't bring it this season he needs a BREAK.
But the women? That side could've been A1 compared to what it currently looks like. All I know is Jenna's cousin better be a ******* monster, either as a athlete or just crazy as **** a la Brooke (RW Denver). Same with the Christina girl & her bloodline.
Ultimately though, it is only because of Kellyanne, Cory & Cohutta ( & possibly Brianna/Averey) that i'm still thinking about watching this...Nia not being on would've been an automatic deal-breaker for me if they also weren't on this one.
Unless one of the bloodline girls is a beast, Camila will definitely be making the final. On top of her already athletic ability, she's been in the gym like everyday. Her body is on point.
Of the 3 bloodline girls we see right now Emily is the only one that looks like she has some athletic ability.

Nowadays it's a different show, but we all still watch. It can't go back to the old way. But I for one am happy getting some fresh meat in the show and hopefully we can see some more people from ex-plosion skeletons so the challenge can keep going with new central characters.

Yeah. I like the men's cast(even Dario whom I don't mind despite him being AYTO mainly because he's hot) for the most part. There is a likable person(Cohutta) and several newbies so I'm good with that. Backpack is the one guy I have issues with.

People are getting way too hung up on the specifics of the name "bloodlines," which might not even be the official title for the season. Blood isn't always thicker than water...
Anyways, is there any chance that this is a partner challenge? On the cast spoilers thread, every alumni's bloodline is the same gender as them. Scares me to think they might try to pair them up in a rivals like format (only with a partner you actually like)

I had a feeling Cara Maria was going to be on this one despite the early rumors of her not being on. She wasn't on last season and she kept posting about how she's been working on her swimming.

I just finished AYTO season 1 and I was honestly more entertained by that than i have the last 2 seasons of the RW. I just think it's a better show now.
How there are no St. Thomas/Portland/Skeletons girls on this cast? Sigh. I love Cara Maria so I'm glad to see her back. There are only three Real World girls on this season so far.....lol
