People on this site including myself dont like Jenna, but for some reason a lot of fans seems to like her on social networks. She doubles Nia following on IG, that goes to show you that some time casual viewers disagree with vevmo and they like the sterotypical dumb blonde that jenna seems to potrayed.
She doubles Nia on IG..but Nia is over her on Twitter..spade for a spade. I think people liked jenna on the RW..she was boring af on the challenge..but i like her.
Over only 1k followers, Nia have done one more show than Jenna. I actually found Jenna boring af on both real world and challenges, that's one of the reason I though she was a Theresa/Preston and had an small fan base.
Her IG following has almost doubled since she started posting pictures with Zach. I think a lot of it has to do with that.
A lot of it has to do with $$$ buying followers
I highly doubt she bought followers, her followers seems to agree with all the comments and likes she gets on pictures. Plus last time IG did the whole fake followers removal, she didn't lost many.
Dating one of the most popular guy from the current era and being the stereotypical blonde girl that teens that watch MTV likes pays of that's a reason why Madison is popular too.
You can tell if you scroll through her followers a good percentage of them are fake accounts
A lot of models and other people in the entertainment field buy fake followers. It makes you look better to casting agents. They are always looking for people that already have a following and fake followers gives the impression that you do.
oh ok. didnt know this. i dont really do anything with social media so i am always behind in that dept. I just remember looking at a lot of the twitter/IG accounts of the cast members from exes 2 a few months back toward the end of the season. I dont know the exact amount of followers Jenna had at the time but im almost certain it was not more than 50k. Then all of a sudden i look again a few weeks ago and she is closing in on 85K and there were suddenly a bunch of pictures with Zach.
You can tell she didn't bought them, just did a lot of self promotion using her bf Zach popularity lol
Plus, MTV gave her/Jay shoutouts by putting their twitter/IG handle on the finale.
Trust me...Jenna could buy followers & the shit could look real...NOT SAYING SHE DID but sometimes you can't tell..shit, Frankie Grande did & Got exposed by Amber(bb16).
I don't understand how Mark was out of the "age range" or whatever BMP's stupid excuse was to not cast him. He was on Exes which wasnt long ago. I mean if you don't know who Mark Long is don't dare call your self a fan of this show
I mean he did have an important role in this entire RW\RR\Challenge franchise but as of now he's irrelevant and is little else but a Backpack Lakey. Why bring him back? Besides he retired anyways.
HAHAHHA you can't tell me he's irrelevant and Naomi, Jenna, Camila, Dario or any of the bloodlines or relevant.
Mark Long is relevant to long time viewers and pretty irrelevant to casual new viewers.
Yea but there are rookies and surprises every season who are irrelevant to casual new viewers. Brianna would be irrelevant to new viewers. Cohhutta was irrelevant to new viewers before Free Agents. KellyAnne will be irrelevant this season. I don't see why Mark would be any different. That's why they are brought on again after several seasons. The viewers learn to like them and start to get to know them.

Hell, he's not relevant to alot of long time viewers either probably. I've been watching this show since The Extreme Challenge and he's not relevant to me at all. Probably not alone in that.

Why though? I'd rather see him again than Bananas
I don't mind Mark. I actually was hoping he'd be in Bloodlines because I just want another vet in the male alumni cast. However, I understand why BMP doesn't want to cast him. He retired twice on Gauntlet 2 and Exes. MTV showed a montage of his entire Challenge career when he got eliminated on Exes, which they rarely do when someone retires. Mark even stated that's the last season where you'll ever see him in his final interview. Because of this, MTV might think it's best if Mark stays retired. That's just my guess.

Not alone at all. I've been watching from the beginning as well and couldn't care less if Mark returned or not. Was never a huge fan of his and he wouldn't add anything to the show for me. He's annoying on Twitter, from what people post on here, and I hate his whole "Godfather" persona.
I am much more excited to see the rookies, even the AYTO cast. Honestly wish they would scrap the Bloodlines theme, use the other half of the cast for castmembers, add in a few more rookies and AYTO castmembers, and snag a few Vets to round out a mixed and diverse cast. In a perfect world..

That's how I am. I'm more interested in the newer castmembers and how they mesh with other recent castmembers. Not overused/overated/Exausted vets battle it out or continue their "rivalry" for the uptenth time.
And I agree in that I think they should scrap this format and do something else. Given the cast they have at the moment it doesn't seem worth it to go with this format but at this point that's a pipe dream so I hope that this cast gets better.

Mark actually said during the exes reunion that he'll never be done, and he said something like "I started this franchise and I'm going to end this franchise" so if everyone thinks this is going to be the last season I could see him really wanting to get on it

Along with Emilee & Isaac before Free Agents so I don't know why they feel like they have to get people from AYTO & now people's relatives involved when there are still so many to choose from within their own pool of castmembers, old & new.
The comparison to Bananas in terms of popularity was laughable, but Nia is seen as a future staple of the show by production. I would be shocked if she was cut. I think it's much more likely her/her bloodline declined at the last minute. Or perhaps they had difficulty getting her insured.
It's hard to believe someone who is mostly hated by fans and has been extremely controversial in a negative way would be made a staple by production when they are represetnting their company but hey look at CT.
You need a villian/bad guy character on the show, someone people can root against and on the flip side people love villains too so they also have a fanbase. Someone else will fill that role evidently.
I say Bananas and Camila are going to be among the winners on this challenge lol. Calling it now.
another thing - people were saying Shanley from AYTO might be cast with her boyfriend... if she is, get ready for Adam k to come back because they were each other's "perfect match" so MTV will probably expect drama & want both even though I think they're cool with each other

I wonder if this is a Ruins 2. Bringing back several alumni from that cast.. Kellyanne and Cohutta along with Bananas (maybe Brianna and Wes too). I can see them doing two teams, the alumni and fresh meat type with similar rules.

About a year ago I had heard something about them wanting to recreate The Ruins which involved them bringing a lot of those cast members back. I didn't think anything of it but now it could be a possibility. Also to add to the Ruins talk, Kimberly was asked for this challenge but declined of course since she's pregnant.

There ya go!!

And Mark is sexy as hell lmao.

Mark is so boring that it's reflecting on this thread.

I also don't mind Mark & thought it would've been interesting to see him with a younger relative on this.

Thats not going to be the case.
Anyways by what I heard they are leaving from LA
i wouldnt mind an ayto vs rw if we were getting two seasons a year.
With a huge *** ************* cast!
If they are leaving from LA doesn't that mean it's going to be in asia?
If it was Europe it would be New York, if it was South America it would probably be Miami right?
We used to assume that, but last season they left from LA and ended in Panama.
Nany followed Kellyanne on Instagram. I think they have been talking

Of all the challenges to recreate they want to do The Ruins again? Yuck.
