EDIT: You can start hyping her up and state her success when she proves it and backs up her abilities the right way that I (and most people on the cast) believe her to be capable of. Right now she doesn't deserve it yet.
All of this is a opinion. That's the issue we have with Nia is people coming at her and stating opinions like they are facts.
That's kind of a BS answer imo though, because in my eyes you to the exact thing, especially with the Makeda/Nia domination and her medicore success on the challenge. Nia definitely didn't showed on FA AND BOTE2 what she is fully capable of. She had way more trouble against Averey and Nany and on most of the daily challenge that you guys seem to forget. When her own partner states on multiple confessionals and on multiple interviews after the season was done, that Nia definitely lacked athletic abilities he thought she had, you should know that Nia had not perform as well as you guys make her to be.
Exactly, so when some people say "Queen" or Slay" (Like WittyWrath mentioned) is just because is fun and entertaining to do so when mentioning your "fave". In most cases, it has NOTHING to do in "hyping her up". Is not that they think she's a Queen of the challenges or the best or whatever, is just a fun and exaggerating way to talk about someone who we like. So chill is not that big of a deal and just let everyone root for their favorite players in whatever way they want and using whatever word they want. Just know that she's not being "Hyped", it's more that people are excited to see her and are expresing it in "interesting" ways, nothing wrong with that. So Relaaaax.

I get what you're saying. But It depends on what the person said that it caused such reaction to be called a hater. Not saying that I agree with it, nor that if they were called a "hater" it was cause they deserve it, but I think is a case by case scenario. There could be times when people mention a specific charasteristic of a person that they don't like, which is fine and is what you pointed out, and there could be times when people go to the extreme and flat out "hate" on the person. Is not the same and it varies from membres and posters.
But the topic is dry already and I think we should go back to the cast speculation. Fun.

howard isnt exactly an academic powerhouse but still a 1000 times more reputable than hield college or whatever. Also HBCU have a very strong importance and history, especially towards african americans in higher education.

Ummmm Howard University is a good school. I wouldn't accept many on this site to appreciate or boast about a HBCU. It's pretty pathetic that people are bashing a place of HIGHER EDUCATION no matter what school it is. Who hates on someone's college or the fact that they have a degree that they worked for?
