If they didn't cast Jenny they still coud have paired Cory with Ashley M. who would still be more entertaining than Jay & Jenna.

They wanted other real exes other than CT/Diem, Zach/Jonna, Averey/Johnny R, Jay/Jenna and Knight/Jemmye.
Thomas/Hailey were highschool sweetheart and she used to beat him up, that's sounds better on paper thn Cory/Ashley making out once while she was a mess.
If Backpack/Frank can be rivals then Cory/Ashley can be exes.
Once again they only wanted 4 rookies from explosion and both Jay/Jenna and Thomas/Hailey were better options than Ashley (Someone that didn't have the great relationship with BMP)/Cory.
Plus, Cory/Ashley M are not cast memebr that BMP is willing to stretch something for, unlike Bananas/Frank. Which was BMP choice because both have other cast members that they had on camera arguments in the cast, which were CT for Bananas and wes for Frank.
Well if they're not going to stretch for one they shouldn't stretch for anyone else...just saying.

I agree. I like how this cast is shaping up to be different than what we've been getting. Some of current crop were starting get old so it's good we're getting a cast akin to seasons 2.

The more that this cast is starting to come together and as I look at the list, even I am actually starting to question whether Jennas is a good fit for this theme. And I'm saying this as one of the few Jenna fans here. I mean they they have some serious boss******* coming in. They might as well go balls to the wall and bring in one more (i.e. Marie) to make shit really blow up this season. I mean, I absolutely believe Jenna could compete with any of them, but she is REALLY going to be a fish out of water on this season from an attitude and feistiness perspective.

Queen Ashley Mitchell was ready to go for this challenge and unfortunately I guess production chose Jenna's boring *** over her. Another mistake that BMP continues to make. Ashley brought more to the 3 episodes she was in than Jenna did for ExPlosion and Exes 2 and got quadruple the episodes. People tend to forget that Ashley was the star of ExPlosion until she left then Jenny took over.
