I don't know how many of you are familiar with Survivor and or watched a season or two, but it goes...so after watching a series of random survivor videos on youtube (lazy sunday y'all), challenges and tribal ceremonies, I have two bones to pick with MTV's The Challenge.
I think it would be fun to have a jury concept on the challenge for the simple fact that to see these people talk about how unworthy the other players are of the money. Another part thinks it won't go as smoothly as it does on Survivor and it'll become very vulgar and savage.
I don't know how valid the arguement of not having a Battle of Sexes season again because it is difficult to do challenges that the women can evenly compete, but after watching some of the challenges the Survivor casts have to do after they merge into one team, I think it's very doable. MTV just chooses not too. Many women have wont challenges against their male counterparts in Survivor.
Also, what makes Survivor cool is the fresh faces, so I'm glad this season will bring a bunch of new people in it. Hopefully their all fun and the concept (maybe) having the Alumn vs Blood in a two large team sounds pretty good and could have a whole new layer to the social game since you're now not playing for yourself, but also playing to protect your "blood" on the opposing team.
Also, Survivor is having a new season called :Second Chance. I think MTV should bring anyone who has not one yet and has made it to the final only to loose. I think that would be pretty fun to watch. The Challenge: Redemption.
I like Nany but I thought she was kind of a hypocrite for getting mad at Averey, Nia and Theresa when they called her out for being a *****. On the Exes II aftershow, Nany's saying how she never talks smack about the other girls. Let's not forget that she called Emilee a **** on Free Agents behind her back and they were close friends. Don't get mad when you're also participating in "**** shaming" lol

I watch the real world specifically to see challenge possibilities. My mom watches real world but not the challenges because they don't interest her. So there are some. Also, didn't real world have higher ratings than battle of the exes 2 at the end?

This past RW season got better ratings than the challenge so Alot more people are watching it than you think. RW alumni will ALWAYS matter because that's whom this show is intended for.

I don't disagree that it would be a fun idea, but it won't happen. It would mean they'd have to leave off people like Bananas, CT, Wes, Zach, Jordan, Camila, Emily, Frank, Sarah, etc. Granted, some of them are "retired" but they're all people who would usually be among the 1st choices for casting.
Specifically they'll never do a season where the format precludes all of Bananas, CT, and Wes from participating. They see those 3 as the stars of the show and if possible would cast them all on every season.

Old vs New is what should've happened after Seasons 2. It really made the most since what with all the Rookie Revolution hoopla going on at the time. Instead we get ******* Rivals 2 smh.
And honestly since they're doing these themes now how is Champions vs Challengers going to fit into that? Causal fans probably don't remember who won the challenges anyways unless it was a "big name".
