. People like him because he makes them feel some sort of magical tingle between their legs(both male and female admirers) and that's it, no logical or genuinely endearing qualities ri like about the guy
its the same with Zach and you can even see this yourself in his thread. It took him to massively emotionally abuse jonna before people started to dislike him even though he was very despicable even prior to this season
-3 points on the looks scale, 3 inches off their height and 30lb less muscle weight and both of them would have no fans after all the shit theyve pulled

I've never really gotten it with CT either. Dude is clearly an impressive athlete but I've always found him weird and roid ragey. I do think he's grown up since Duel II, but at the same time I've always sort of gotten the vibe that it's been an act for the camera and how he acted on Rivals 2 didn't help him out at all.
At the same time I don't think his fans are the WORST. There definitely other cast members whose fans boggle my mind.
BOTS2 is probably my fave season. I liked how winner can pick team to go in and what game they gonna play and I liked the games. Also that season was full of drama but not in the annoying way. Also missions were fun. I hope to see season like that again. I do not understand why people dislike it so much.
Because nothing you said about the drama was the case whatsoever. The drama we got was so unbelieveable absurd and ridiculous. We had a guy and girl fight over clothes being thrown in the pool, if some one said a mere "**** you" the other person would flip out uncontrollably and unnessecarily, the idiotic argument between Camila and Brandon over nothing, Nany pointed at Frank and he flipped out as if someone just killed his mom, the whole Frank/Nany/Dustin argument was so painful to watch because it was so moronic. I liked strategic game drama that we saw on Fresh Meat, Fresh Meat II, Rivals, Exes II, among other seasons. The stupid drunken house drama is all we saw on Battle of the Seasons and that is why I hated that season and perhaps why a lot of other people do as well. It honestly was hard to watch grown ups act so ridiculous.
The eliminations and challenges were cool tho and it was cool that the winning held so much power.
We see these people act ridiculous every season though.
Battle of the Seasons started it though. Sure we saw some stupid arguments prior to that, but that was a different level completely. Pretty much any season Knight, Frank, Marie, Nany, Jemmye, Camila, among other are on/was on/will be on, there is going to be some stupid drama. It also has a lot to do with the casting these days. Back in the day, the drama that the cast provided was TV gold and it was easy to capture. Now, the cast provides dumb drama that production captures and HAS to air because they don't provide anything else that the old school casts did. Drama from The Gauntlet-The Duel was awesome. The Inferno 3 was boring, Gauntlet III had awesome drama, The Island was great political drama, The Duel 2 and The Ruins was good, Fresh Meat II was all political game drama, Cutthroat was dumb drama that I didn't personally enjoy because it was mostly drunk house drama, Rivals was a mixture of both, I personally thought Exes was boring in the drama department, and then Seasons was just awful.

Yeah see The Drama that was on The Island through Exes really just sucked IMO. Whether it was game or drunken drama it was all either just boring, sad, or angering to me. Seasons 2 was were the drama really picked up and made me acutally laugh and be excited again(well most of it). I haven't felt that watching the challenges in awhile at that point.
I've also seen people claim Nany/Frank are an example of people not being the same when cameras are on. I think the cameras had nothing to do with how their relationship ended up, but instead how Vegas strayed from the alliance and caused tension there. God knows what happened that they had another falling out during Rivals 2.
I have said that all along. Especially when it comes to Nany. I would put a good amount of money on the fact that if someone went up to Nany on the street and said, "your a *****", she would probably just ignore them and walk away. You put her on a challenge surrounded by cameras and she acts like a fool and says she will do shit that we all know she won't do. Frank at least cooled down on Free Agents. He was much calmer on Rivals II compared to Seasons also. He got into an argument with CT and Jordan but other than that he was pretty calm. Nany just acts like an idiot on every season she is on, with the excpetion of Rivals II because the team Jonna/Nany were the least interesting after Anastasia/Jessica which meant they hardly got air time. And if it weren't for her 1 minute argument with Diem about the rap, Nany was wallpaper on Rivals II.

I will admit, the Frank/Dustin fight was hilarious just because of what came out of Dustin's mouth. "You wanna get street *****?!" It was absolutely hysterical. And there was some good game drama with San Diego voting in St. Thomas at the end, but the drama on that season (as you put it) angered me.
I don't see Nany acting in a way she wouldn't normally as her acting for cameras or anything. That environment influences you so much more than just your regular daily life would. Of course they're going to act in ways that are OTT. I think you're giving Frank a cop out since he was just as awful on Rivals 2, we just saw less of it with the regular castmembers back and not needing to rely on him as much. FA the guy was sick the whole time. I do not know where people come up with this theory that Frank changed into a different person come FA.
I do not think cast was weak. No CT&Bananas does not = weak cast. There was old school, rookies and awesome drama and hookups. Frank, Zach, Nany, Dustin, Sarah, CJ, Jonna, Marie, Alton, Camila, Wes, Cara Maria is good cast. Like would not you want to see Duel with those people?
and you're forgetting the other 20 people who were weak And thank you for including Zach in that list.
I think everyone from RW St. Thomas ,except for Brandon, has potential to do very well on a challenge. They just need to be given a chance. ( And be picked in the right format)
Swift doesn't .
actually i think Swift has a better chance than LaToya. since LaToya sucks at swimming. Swift was decent at it. tbh i feel LaToya is very overated just because she had a good elimination.

No it has nothing to do with those too, there were so much weak competitors like all of New Orleans, half of Brooklyn , most of Austin, trashelle, Jasmine, Sam, big easy. How is that not considered weak?
There were more good competitors than bad ones on that season though.
It's a super weak cast, there weren't many good competitors there were the awful ones I listed then just okay not good competitors like Trey & Laura,Brandon, Derek and Chet. So together that's 18-32 so there aren't more.
That's still not a weak cast. Every season has weak competitors and okay ones then good ones.
Yeah every season has weak competitors and this one had more than most.... That makes it weak...
Weak: Devyn, McKenzie, Knight, Preston, Melinda, Big Easy, Lacey, Laura (i actually can't really remember her performance), Trishelle, Jasmine,
Average: Trey, Jemmye, Wes (although he got eliminated first), Brandon, Chet, Jonna, Nany, Derek, Robb, JD (terrible at missions especially the ones that are physical, but stepped up in the final mission and the final), Sam, Ashley, Danny,
Good: Zach, CJ, Alton, Dustin (on this season i'll categorize him as good. every other he would be average), Sarah, Camilla, Cara Maria, Frank, Marie,
that goes to show we have 10 people who are weak, 13 people who are average, and 9 strong characters.
now you may think nine good challengers is a strong cast but compare it to Rivals 2. Rivals 2 had 13 strong, good, athletic competitors (could be 14 but Cara Maria is debatable).
so i understand your love for the Season and trust me BOTS2012 is my fourth favorite challenge. but there is no denying Seasons 2012 was a weaker cast than most.
Ratings don't mean anything to me. Rivals, Exes and Rivals II were the highest rated seasons of the new era but I did not even think those seasons were great. Seasons 2, Free Agents and Exes II received bad ratings but I really enjoyed watching those seasons.

But that just shows that there was more good to average competitors that season. They outweigh the weak ones so again..the cast wasn't weak.
And I wouldn't put Ashley and Nany as average. Both were good imo.
I'm prob. Going to receive a lot of flack, but I don't really like any of the old seasons, theyre just not interesting to me. The only one that I kind of liked was inferno 2. But I love everything after Gauntlet 2

i don't know why people say CT gets a pass for his past misdeeds, CT got a TON of hate on here and other places during G3-Duel 2. CT was beth level hated during G3 especially. People were saying he shoudl be locked up, not allowed back, all the same type stuff Nia is getting now. People just forget becuase CT has been on many challenges since and people have short memories and he hasn't hit anyone since. He hardly got a free pass, but he also showed character growth since than and showed other sides to him that made him multi dimensional and not just a boston jerk. He is allowed to try to be a better person, doesn't mean that people let it slide his past, but he has tried to be a better person since the adam fight. THat won over people/fans to me. He definately still had issues but he learned to at least control them a little. But it's a short term memory society, so they remember the CT from rivals 1-now. which is a much different CT overall thann the old one who was kicked off for violence twice. Plus since rivals 1 resurged the franchise, a lot of new fans came and only remember/know the ct from rivals 1 till now.
The people who have been on here a while probably saw when he was most hated as well as his "redemption" angle. Nia can go the same path if she chooses.
If Nia is on a lot of these shows and stops doing these things, she will get the same treatment, btu she has to stop doing them which has yet to be seen. I do agree though she has to stop wiht the fake apologies when she also rt's things supporting the stuff she "apologizes" for. She needs to either be who she is, or stop letting her anger control her emotions so much on these shows. I think she wants to be different but she just cares about being "hurricane nia" and wants to do what she thinks her fans want to see.
She probably will keep getting invites, so it's up to her who she wants to be. She has to grow up and change though or she will be looked at the same, till she shows she can be differnet. CT showed it, although he also showed signs of his old self. but he never let it get near the g3 and duel 2 levels.
The only Challenge that I actually sorta liked CT was on the first Inferno, and only because he didn't get a lot of screentime and because of his friendship with David

It's not about whether or not the apologies are fake with Nia, it's the fact that she feels like she has to do it in the first place...these other people do everything & don't apologize for shit so she just needs to refine her "**** your feelings" attitude to include this. She shouldn't have apologized to Jordan for a **** thing, especially since his "apology" for what happened on Portland was BS.

Looking back on it, the Seasons cast was not that bad. For a season that was so limited in terms of casting, they did a decent job with the guys cast. We had top tier competitors in Alton, Frank, Zach, Wes, and CJ. Middle of the road competitors in Danny, Chet, Brandon, and Dustin. And new competitors that ended up being pretty good/not that bad in Knight, Trey, Robb, Derek, and JD. Preston wasn't that great and Eric was an embarassment. For the girls it was different. I only though Camila, Cara Maria, and Sarah were the only top tier girls going in. Middle of the road competitors was Jonna alone. And some newer girls that ended up being pretty/good to not that bad in Marie, Ashley, and Jemmye. Everyone else was either awful or nothing great.

Exes 2 cast was horrid albeit one of the more athletic seasons.
Brooklyn was not a likeable team on Seasons 2, they felt like forced underdogs that I didn't really want to root for.

Flack
She was super annoying on Portland and the challenge. Plus she is a horrible competitor.
The only time I liked Ana was when she was the voice of reason of the Nia/Jordan fight. Other than that she was annoying as **** and overly sensitive.
I do feel bad though that she got so much hate for the CT thing.

The only Challenge that I actually sorta liked CT was on the first Inferno, and only because he didn't get a lot of screentime and because of his friendship with David
I don't believe that CT has changed. He just doesn't hit anyone anymore.
Jemmye is weak not average.
