I think he is referring to Ty supposedly kicking Camila. It was on a Cutthroat daily I believe.
What's that?
The Dailies were clips of uncensored Real World and The Challenge footage. They got rid of them for some stupid reason which they shouldn't have because they were great.
In that case, if Camila was going to try to make herself relevant by "starting drama", it would be pretty dumb to choose such an obscure medium to do it
camila was awesome that season. cuthroat had a strong female cast with laurel, emily, jenn, cara maria, sarah, paula, theresa camila and tori. the male cast wasn't all that amazing though.
My unpopular opinion is I dont think the female competition on the past 2-3 seasons has really been that good and not until we see Laurel face off against Emily will it ever be that good or players of that caliber. The fact that we consider Nany, Theresa, and Sarah top competitors this last season is kind of sad.
sarah has always been a top competitor even in her beginnings when laurel and ev were the state of art females. the fact that she trained even harder for exes 2 and didnt have it easy just shows how the competition has inflated proportionally to her own improvement. if youre saying that last season was weak because she was a top competitor then youre probably also saying cutthroat, ruins, fresh meat 2 were all bad pools as well since sarah had similar ranks there...when she was a sloth
the conception of theresa being legit top competitor on a general whole...and not just against a weak female competitive pool as you proclaim about exes 2....after more dedication or working out isnt farfetched considering her starting point of already having been somewhat close to the top historically. its not like she jumped 1 to 9...shes always been at least a 6+ on her worst appearances and that was before she put on muscle mass.
cara maria, sarah, theresa, nany are just names and youre assuming that their competitive abilities are permanently fixed from one show to the next and their ascent is solely due to their competition being worse. people can improve...like actually improve and not just be put in favorable situations. it doesnt happen often and most people talk a big game about working out more next challenge or coming back stronger(shauvon, casey, katie, easy, isaac) and not actually following through but some people do stick with it such as in the case of theresa, cara maria, and jenn.
it was for show because he was going to lose regardless of how hard he went at it so he might as well save energy for the gulag. i dont hate him for what he did because it gave us spectators someting to ooo and awwwee about but from his POV it was a dumb move with no real benefit except a tingly feeling he gets as fans shower praise at him
the only chance he had in that game was going, as people call it, "beast" in the BEGINNING when abram and luke were still around. still a slim chance becase of your supposition that they were outsized and at a heavy disadvantage regardless but still a way bigger chance then doing it at the end when you dont even have a single teammate left
do it at the beginning when theres 25% chance of winning and it may actually count and turn the tides or dont do it at all when youre at the end with 0% chance of winning
and i agree that derrick wouldve kicked brad's ***. brad is highly overrated and totally unremarkable as a competitor
Ah ok, now I understand what you meant by "for show". Sorry about that.
I do agree, it was a hopeless battle, but Derrick has never been one to not show his best. It would've been the greatest moment in challenge history if he beat those three.
It just sucked that the third guy was Luke, he really held them back. If it was Derrick, Abram, and Bananas or Ty or even Easy, if would've been much better. Still don't know how a scrub like Luke made the finals that challenge. Kid had some luck on his side, and a BS elimination ha.
And thank you so much for agreeing to Brad being overrated. He's an average competitor who has had his fair share of luck. I will give him his elimination against Big Easy on the Duel, but I'll never excuse the CT Duel.
He was smart against Landon on the Duel 2, not taking that away from him, but Landon would've wrecked him in everything else.
And seeing Brad on Cut Throat was just annoying. Great, you're married and your wife is your teammate, you aren't the King and you're lucky you had a lapdog in Dunbar and you're lucky Tyler didn't flip on you sooner.
not trying to diasgree but Luke was a decent, solid competitor at the Challenges, more so than anyone on the grey Team outside of Abram, Laurel, and perhaps Vinny.
totally agree on the Bolded. this may sound petty but i'll never let up on how bad that team mistreated Brandon. they were all despicable for that.
Luke wasn't good, he got lucky that gray won so many missions. If Luke was on any other team he'd be gone early. Where did you get Vinny being one of the best?
Well i mean the grey team wasnt that stacked in itself, but Luke was easily the 3rd best athlete on his own team. And i never said he was good, just solid at most things except for physical matchups.

I'm just saying that there arent really well rounded female competitors- Theresa is probs the worst political player in a long time, Nany is not emotionally stable at all and also I'm still weary of how she may compete in a final ( yea she got second on FA but it wasn't exactly the hardest final seeing a she only beat Devyn), Nia is probably the best example where yea she's big and strong but she has no politcal savy and no emotional stability and she kind of sucks at some challenges and will probably suck at a final like if it had been her and leroy in the final it would of been an even easier cake walk for Jordan and Sarah. I just think girls like Emily, Laural, and Evelyn are much more rounded with their skills. Sarah is good but physically she's not a top competitor and in a final against laural and Emily (Arguably the two best girls) i think she gets third but she is still better than the rest of the Exes girls i just wish she could've proven it more with a more competitive final, but it isnt her fault.
i dont see emily as well rounded at all. shes average at swimming, near worthless at anything that has to do with brain power, and decent but not phenomenal at long distance running so basically three things that count the most. shes GREAT at crossfit since she spends the bulk of her time on it and most normal people with lives aint got time for that. her niche ability is brute strength which is ludicrously specific and totally esoteric with poor application of usage in the challenges(and even most sports). stamina, swimming, speed and just innate talent at weird quirky things all count way more which is why camila outperformed the crap out of emily on the first exes despite all the amazing numbers emily puts in the gym.
i would take sarah over emily in brains and swimming with non existent hesitation and theresa over emily in all three...brains, swimming and running stamina. emily is better than them at the stuff like throwing pieces of metal around

Emily is easily the most physically dominant female player probably in challenge history, if you ask me it goes 1) Emily 2) Laurel 3) Evelyn 4) Maybe Camilla idk but the point is Emily has definitley shown physical strength, smarts, and emotional stability( something camilla very much lacks). And put Theresa and Emily in any challenge against eachother and i take emily 10/10. I would put the third place finish in Exes more on Ty than on Emily and Camilla's win was more given to Johnny than I would Camilla.
emily consistently sucks when it comes to puzzles. emotional stability is moot unless it actually deters a competitors good performance and camila has never done poorly because of emotional instability.
camila outperformed emily on exes fair and square. emily was the one that dragged them down consistently in almost every challenge
give me some honey - emily kept slipping while camila pretty much flew across
hook up - who fell? emily
rolling in deep - emily gets smoked by camila twice in a row
dont rock the boat - collective failure by emily/ty, both are to blame
lube me up - first ty failure
race to the altar - collective failure
feel the burn - the ONLY challenge where emily outperformed camila the entire season and it should be noted that camila/johnny were the experiments for having to go first on this one
emily was just as much to blame in the final. they fell behind because she sucked at the puzzle. after that she and ty were not even close to diem/CT and camila/johnny
the only time she has ever solved a puzzle was on rivals 2 on dream island where she BARELY squeaked it out with paula. the pythagorean theorem crap she did on nightmare island doesnt count as a puzzle...its a formula where any monkey capable of plugging in numbers should be able to solve

If we are really comparing Camilla and Emily its a no brainer- Lets look at everything besides Exes as they both performed very well both making it to the final- in a head to head competition Emily wins every time. So let me ask you who do you rank as the top female competitors ?
head to head is overrated. its part of some elimination rounds, almost never part of challenges, and always never part of finals
i consider well roundedness as an indication of a great competitor and just because A is better than B in head to head doesnt mean A is better if B kicks their *** in everything else. Someone like Ev would absolutely lose to Emily in a head to head but it doesnt matter because Ev is physically strong enough to beat a good 9/10 of the other women in head to heads + she has her other tools, the mort important ones, at her disposal.
the structure of the challenges is no ONE thing is a deal maker but everything is a deal breaker and all athletic aspects of the game must be covered adequately before one pursues intensive advancement in one specific area. thats why paula kept getting her *** whooped because even though she was this supposedly amazing endurance runner she was unremarkable at missions and elimination rounds for the longest time. love diem and aneesa but they were kind of in this category too with aneesa of course only doing well in the head to head. One kryptonite weakness(or several) hurt more than one superpower helps and in emily's case her superior strength isnt enough to compensate for the fact that her endurance, swimming and brain power are all noticeably below almost every single top girls.
i think ev and laurel along with jodi and some others are top girls. emily needs to expand her breadth of abilities before she can be considered IMO, otherwise shes just a one standard performer like zach or MJ

So I saw people tried to claim Camila tried to start drama when Theresa picked on her, Ty apparently kicked her, and she had an actual attraction to Johnny? I mean if you're gonna try to go that route at least mention how she caused drama with her drinking. Even then, not like it matters, a lot of castmembers are invited back after an uneventful challenge season. Nia, Jessica, Cara Maria, Laurel, etc.

Agreed.
She actually liked Johnny... I don't think that was for show and Theresa started that whole thing, even Tori said so herself.

yes and Tori hated Camila, so this has got to be true.
Does anyone remembers Robin vs Casey in Pole Wrestle on the Duel 1? I think that was hilarious because Casey didn't even try snatch it out from Robin instead she was just holding on it for her dear life lmao! Poor Casey

The sad thing is Casey lasted longer against Robin than Brittany did with Nany.....#Sad

One thing I didn't like in The Guantlet 2 was how they had the teams face they own team members in The Gauntlet. I think it would've been better if they had the setup the first one did and had both teams vote in one person so it would be Vet vs Rook in The Gauntlet.

Brittany is definitely in Casey's level. She probably doesn't quit missions that involve heights or anything, but she's horrible no matter what.

The Island was an interesting twist and should return.
Battle of the Seasons 2 was the best season of The Challenge since Cutthroat and no season since then has topped it.
agreed, though Exes 2 came close.
