most asian guys and girls too don't really have the contentious type of personality they're looking for on these types of show since a lot of people would just call them "boring" or "wallpaper" But even then they should have been able to have found at least one atypical one.

production looks for a certain type of personality trait when they are casting and most asian cultures, especially if youre talking about the japanese, korean, northern chinese variety, dont fit that mold
